Man lives in some wrong, mistaken way…

* “….. Man lives in some wrong, mistaken way-the real joy of life must be to dwell on earth like a ray of light, warming and fructifying all things …

Man lives in some wrong, mistaken way…

Lots of people have chosen to live the way they want to live, without giving to much attention to others around them. Their selfishness has made them not to worry about mother earth, and lets them be deaf for the cries of that earth in need.

Lots of people do think they have an other opportunity to make the best of their life, in an afterlife. They ignore the writings of the men of God, who did their best to warn mankind for their position and limited time.

The Bible makes it clear

“It is here and now we have to make it!”

We are having only one life. We are born, and then we can use the given time as good as we can. But at a certain point, we shall have to face death in the eyes. When we die, everything shall be over and out for us. We shall not be able to do anything. Life shall leave us, leaving our bodies to deteriorate and become dust.

In death, no way to act or think anymore, we are just like dead animals, having come to our end, to deteriorate or by decay ending up in dust.

The Necessity of Rest

*

To remember

  • time physically away = luxury
  • sabbath in rhythmic rejuvenation sense = regular rhythms of rest > to make space one day a week
  • Our society = a go-go-go society
  • we work best when we take the time to rest
  • choosing to rest one day a week = don’t keep pace with others who are willing to prioritize work over all else
  • life = marathon
  • no end > tasks to be done
  • we are the ones to protect quality of our rest
  • digital world cannibalizes time
  • Freedom =/=  absence of restrictions as finding the right ones > those that fit with the realities of our own nature and those of the world

Grace Begets Beauty

“Now I know that the best thing I can offer this world is not my force, but a well-tended spirit, a wise and brave soul.”

Shauna Niequist, Present Over Perfect

The dust has just settled from some glorious time on a vacation away from my phone. It was the kind of magical family affair out in the forest, miles from town, without cell service. The kind where the windows are perpetually open to let in the mountain breeze, and there was not the same frenetic keeping track of others as we so often have in our perpetually connected society. If someone wanted to go out, they went out – to run, walk, fish, hammock, or otherwise. Or if they wanted to stay in, they read on the porch, played a board game, puttered in the kitchen, or took a nap. There was no checking in, no “where are you’s”, simply …

Raging calm and being in silence!

Every time the sun rises we may be glad when we notice that we are still alife. (Though perhaps some of us would have loved to have died in their sleep.)

Each new day brings tasks for us and has new endeavours and challenges in store for us. Like it or not, we have to face and deal with what comes our way throughout the day.

Sometimes we would love to halt the rushing time. In our dreams, we perhaps can stop the clock or go back in the past, whilst at the same time we endeavour to look in our imaginable future.

Purplerays

Not all who sit quietly are in silence!

One broods over everyday trifles…the next meal, rents, school fees, employment, health issues, on and on!

Another wages a stiff inner battle trying to muffle base desires, lusts, greed; trying to rein in obsessive ego! The good old Cherokee would say there are two wolves fighting each other inside him/her!

Yet another raises pure thoughts to welcome the threads of light coming from On High; to embrace the impulses and promptings of luminous helpers always ready to guide, protect and support whoever truly Seeks!
Time stands still, peace and sublime joy descend and the deep (spirit) reaches out to the deep in complete silence!

Of a fact, not all who sit quietly are in silence; many sit quietly in raging calm!

Time Moves – a #freeverse #poem by Leona

Leona's Creative Corner

For time moves

Swiftly my dear

So fast all at once

We are in a tilt-a-whirl

My dear as the age

Old rhymes barely

Keep up with the beat

+++

I tried carefully to find

New pathways across

Old sodden fields of

Corn and barley

+++

Can you just pause a moment?

Drifting toward an empty sky

I find your eyes keep

Looking my way

Back again

+++

The clock chimes in the hallway

Down the stairs under the

First floor balcony

It depends on if the butler

Has wound the

Clock to quarter past 10

+++

Will you be my valentine?

Have we parted as more than

Friends?

Paint me in the Shadows

Roth Poetry

EER_0139 (3)

When my time has come and I am gone

Take my ashes and paint me in the shadows

Under the oak tree where memories were made…

In the shadows with the fungi and let me watch it grow

And feel the coolness of the wind floating through the leaves

*

When my time has come and I am gone

Brush me smoothly under rocks of overhanging cliffs.

Paint me in the shadows where cool water

Trickles its way gurgling neath the trees

And deer quench their thirst on hot summer days

*

When my time has come and gone

Blend my ashes onto boardwalk pilings.

Paint me in the shadows where I can hear

Excited children walking as the waves roll in

Splashing in the shadows and rolling out again

*

When my time has come and gone

Take me to the farm I loved so long ago

Paint me…

Take time, look around at the beauty of nature

* *

Something precious is lost if we rush headlong into the details of life without pausing for a moment, to pay homage to the mystery of life and the gift of another day.

~ Kent Nerburn

Take time, look around at the beauty of nature

Here and there♥️

Try to get it!

The remained time is short
But we do Not pay attention
Yeah
We will be asked about every thing
Important and unimportant
There is a big difference between here and there

There you can Not look back
There you can Not change What has been done by you
But here you still have the chance to look back
You still have the chance to repaire and to change What should be changed
There… We will live an endless peace
Here… we can Create our peace But it is a temporary peace
This peace of ‘here’ needs a lot of work and patience to be achieved
There.. We do Not work Or try to achieve anything
There we only harvest What we did ‘here’…
Our time here is too short But we can do a lot
There.. our time is caculated differently and although it is endless Or long But we…

Running out of time

Kone, Krusos, Kronos

How Can we Measure What Does Not Exist

“Time brings all things to pass.”

Aeschylus

Existence it’s necessary for time to be, otherwise time has no thing to attach itself to it, or run after, or keep time for, no existence, no time, existence of something, the beginning of time.

Time Start

However today Scientist are not so sure, developments in theoretical physics, especially the rise of string theory, have changed their perspective. The pre-bang universe has become the latest frontier of cosmology.

But do not take my word for it, could be old news Scientifically speaking, I am not a Cosmologist with the latest paper on it, what I am saying had a date around 2006, who knows what is the latest word on it.

However like all of you, even a newborn, we are all running out of time, as we read this.

But if one thing we can be sure of it, is that time is running…

Nostalgia (poem)

David Carlewood

I miss the squeak of marker pens,
Just as the prophets said I would;
When small, controlled, of freedom dreaming,
I cheered for life and called it good;
When all around me, foes and friends,
Offended by improvement, and,
In league with time, then loyal seeming,
Still for a boundless future planned.

A Child’s Petition (poem)

David Carlewood

Life is good today;
Stay like this a while.
Don’t let things fall back
Where they were before.
Freeze things as they are,
Capture time in flight,
Bind its little wings,
Keep the sun alight.

Kismet

Smell The Coffee

Even when clothed in the bright

colours of a peacock’s feathers….

the light plays games when it peaks

through dry dead branches as it chases

the darkness into the shadows

And time passes so differently here

….it beckons to the future

….and veils the past

……a future … a hope

……. a kismet to last

Measure of loneliness whilst time drags

Wen Autumn comes in the land lots of people seem to come to think about “Life and death”. Not only are there the many pagan festivals like Halloween, Samhain, Witches Night, All Saints, All Souls, and commemorative services for the many casualties of war.

Back in Wintertime, having the darkness falling earlier, people retreated in their house, after work, often feel more lonely and wonder also what they are doing in this world and why. For many this life seems a great big burden. They do not seem to be able to feel any joy in having to get up to go to work every day and not being appreciated for what they do.

Even when nature does not really die, for many it feels like dying. The leaves falls off, and we hear less singing of the birds. The different bugs and the animals “hide” whilst the colourful flowers “falls to rest”.  But for man it does not seem to offer a moment for rest. The opposite Autumn for most people comes after the moment of joy and rest, after the pleasant Summer holiday.

Now we are confronted with a time of reflection, having us wondering about life and death. Now we also want to fill up time with reading more and watching more television, willing to escape from daily business. For many the distraction does not seem enough to take away the feeling of loneliness, instead it pushes it more to the forefront.

20191016_180259

C.E. Pereira writes

The measure of loneliness.
The day drags on, slowly.
A long wait for night.
Time is mocking you.

Night doesn’t bring relief.
Sleep is but a dream.
Sixty seconds, a minute past.
You watch the hour hand.

Each second of time.
In slow motion, a split.
Is time stuck? Tell me.
No. Time is not stuck.

Time moves on, not me.
The pull of quicksand.
Time drags, time crawls.
Sinking into loneliness.

Happiness makes time fly.
Loneliness makes time crawl.
It is but an illusion we create.
Time is constant. Timeless.

{Time drags, time crawls C.E. Pereira – 16-10-2019}

Shades of Life

There are many different shades of life presented by the many experiences and influences brought into our surroundings.

We have one great expectation to grow in our life and to make it better all the time, looking forward to perhaps an unreachable dream. Those who believe in the Divine Creator know that life is fare-most the greatest gift and that life is sealed by the Grace of salvation making us able to live by a still greater expectation of a better world to come. With that hope by the Grace of Salvation we can nurture our personal choice to opt the option of living and enjoy every moment we receive from the Creator. For that life we should be thankful for each blessing in our present life and the other life still to come and hoped for.

In our life where may be the shadow of all those experiences and special moments of life?  The memories which can build up our life and make our book of life a great story-book to accompany us on paths still unknown.
We may not be any more the one we were when we were a child. All those experience , which we liked and did not like, have moulded us in an other child. The innocence of our childhood is gone. But by the years we become softer and perhaps less experimenting, putting much more in perspective.   When older the empty days can be filled with memories.

Life may be going on for no reason, but we can give a lot of reason to our life, and that is what we should do.

Like a sandcastle,…..

In the World of matter, all may be temporary, but those who want to be children of God shall be carried over sand, water, swamps and into the clouds of a new reality, by the Eternal existing God to a world still to come, a Kingdom to stay and to live in peace for ever.

Purplerays

Build it, tend to it, enjoy it.
And when the time comes, let it go.

Coming to the end of 2018

The last day of 2018 presents itself.

Manny forget that there has been a time when there was no time. There was nothing to measure the passage of moments. Everything was in a space without time notation. Everything was empty and void in the darkness.

Only after the Voice of the Unseen spoke there came order in the chaos and everything came into being. The Divine Maker of all things created light and darkness so that time could be measured.

Today one can say

The experience of the passage of time is one of the most foundational experiences of being human. {Is Time Real?}

If we want it or not. The days pass in front of our eyes. We can not stop to become older. All that rest us is to remember past days.

We remember the past, we experience the immediacy of the present, and we imagine the possibilities of the future. {Is Time Real?}

Lots of people shall come together with friends and/or family and shall take moments to remember the previous months. And when the clock ticks 12 all shall bring their best wishes for a new year to those around them and to those further away. The distance may bring other hours, but also there the time comes and goes.

The notion of reality being beyond time has been challenged by different thinkers in different ages. At the end of the year we would like to stand still for a moment and think about that element: T I M E.

And what shall bring us Tomorrow?

time is running out

At the beginning of our life time may seem endless long, but by becoming older it seems to go faster and faster. So many times we wonder what we have accomplished in life and have the impression we are still nowhere, though we have already passed half a century. And when we are retired we still want to do so much, but do not seem to have time enough.
The clock ticks further and for some louder, whilst for others (like me) it becomes more quiet, but having the sun giving us enough energy to pass the time and having us to enjoy the time as long as it can.

Take the time in your hand; give time your energy and let your thoughts inspire others, with the knowledge we all walk the path of life, sun, moon and stars allowing days to come, even in the time we do not let the clocks arrange our life.

A Million Ways To Live: Al Muhyi (The One Who Gives Life)

When we start our life we do not have any specific dreams or aspirations; When we start seeing all those attracting things around us we want to get up from our four pats to stand up on two limbs and to come to conquer the world around us. We start having lots of dreams and lots of aspirations, but when we get older we encounter also lots of defeats and disillusions.

Somehow deep in our heart we may feel a certain call, a cry that there could be an Al Khaleeq (The Creator), but most people do not want to know about some One Who is Greater than they and has their life in His Hands. But without this Divine Creator man shall have to find that life is empty and time is restricted, coming to see that in this life we shall never get to that high point of total fulfilment.

When finding Allah the Exalted, or the God above all gods, we shall be able to grow and find peace in our heart, how much other people may try to destroy the good name of Allah and want to bring fear over the world, blaspheming Allah and besmearing the Muslim community.

The dreams that you have sketched in your duas, the visuals that you have created in your mind about how that “moment” would look like, the imaginary rehearsal sessions in your washroom where you prepare for the “feeling” lest you dont feel silly- we all have these dreams. Getting that degree or that job, that dream marriage, that dream family, driving your dream car or unpacking at your dream home; all of us have so many things we want, wish for, ask for.
The wishes and duas we voice out to Allah are like the statues made of clay. In our limited capacities, thats the closest we can be to the reality we want to have. So we need Al Muhyi to give life to those statue like dreams, by making them real in flesh and blood. So ask Al Muhyi to give life to your duas by manifesting them…
