Borderless

Subliminal Landscapes

We know
miles and oceans
separate us
but we live in each other’s
mind.
We keep
our priced possessions here
in the soft pink boxes,
multilayered,
fragile like petals,
shielding them from
the world,
a world,
unconcerned
about the deepest feelings
of longings,
the things
that are not tangible
or measurable
and certainly ineffable.

We maybe
shores apart,
but our thoughts bloom
in the orchards
beneath our eyelids
when we dream,
lifting themselves up as
majestic birds
spreading their wings wide
when they take flight
toward the uncharted fire
of the anguish of love.
They know no distance
or maps or boundaries,
they just know
their destination.

Traversing the undulating
ripples of the mackerel skies,
they dive in deep
then rise up,
trying to pursue the way
to each other.
In that milky terrain
their amorphous forms
entwine
to become mellifluous verses
that would design
an arbor
for the rendezvous…

History of dreaming, and connection with spirit #3

Kone, Krusos, Kronos

Heavenly Path

“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”

― C.G. Jung.

First let me say, there’s all sort of dreams, provoked by so many reasons, from you being worry about something, that its bothering you, to unfulfilled wish desires, or you just had too much to eat for diner, and have a nightmare, but one thing I will tell you, the dreams you have are a reflection of who you are, and of course your Spiritual side, or the lack of it, will show up, in your dreams.

You would not have Joseph’s kind of dreams, if you are not a Spiritual person, first, because if you are not interested in such thing, as a Spiritual life, it’s like asking a vicious, and evil person, to have good thoughts, and be merciful, it doesn’t…

Dream interpretation an it’s problems #2

Kone, Krusos, Kronos

Dreams Are Magical

The first problem with dreams it’s not how to interpret them, that comes later, the first one it’s to remember them!

It’s well known, that as we age we forget everything specially our short memory, I am at that stage, where I can spend many minutes going crazy looking for something I just put down, somewhere, and cannot figure where?

Despite being methodical, as I age it seems to go with the territory, my dear mother when I was young used to go crazy trying to figure out where she left this or that, in my naivety as a child couldn’t figure out how mother could forget so easily such things?

Well, now I know!

Hardly a day go through, when something so simple as putting something away, can disappear, like if by magic!

Mother wherever you may be, please forgive me! It seems I am even worst than you…

On Dreaming, a search for knowledge of the self #1

Kone, Krusos, Kronos

Snorkeling

“God sleeps in the rock, dreams in the plant, stirs in the animal, and awakens in man”

Ibn Arabi

I wouldn’t even know where to start, this business about dreaming it’s so extensive, let me just say for many years as far back as when I was a child maybe no more than five, or six years of age I was intrigued and interested on dreams, in my natal chart I have a very close conjunction Venus with Mars in Pisces, on the fourth  house, making a trine with Uranus in Cancer on the eight house.

Antique Planisphere Celeste Zodiac Map

Another thing that fascinated me at the time was snorkeling, and diving on the Ocean, did quite a lot of it until of course other prosaic but normal occupations took me away from it, like trying to make a living by working, now I realize that dreaming and diving were connected, you dive to…

P5 The Empire we’re in: Individualism & Consumerism

In the previous weeks, the government had made sure that the anti-vaxxers had no reason to demonstrate and/or smash things up.

12-storey floor of retail area inside of Berjaya Times Square shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Mainstream churches have also opened their doors to the general public, but as before, the Corona Crisis, the huge shopping centra are and remain the main ‘worship temples’. There, in those shopping malls, people feel most at ease and satisfied that they can buy anything they want to own again.
For them, the big shopping mall is a sacred place to pay homage to their god (Mammon), money.

Consumerism has gone so far that lots of people when they buy something are even not interested in what the ecological footprint might be of what they buy.

Even though most people have become slaves to money, and therefore slaves to their employers, it is up to the Church to make those people realise how they have gone off the rails with their way of life and money-making.

It is up to the believer in the One True God to show people that there are much better ways than the worship of money, by which people are chained.

After the war in the Middle East seemed to have come to an end there was again a new war, the Russians invading Ukraine, we can see that Gog stood up and tries to go south to enlarge its world to get back a Great Russia or USSR. Others wonder who or what that “One World Government” seeking world domination might be.

Many do not want to know about God and His commandments and laugh at the idea of one world government or theocracy. The idea of living in the last days seems for many ridiculous whilst others think we can clearly see the signs indicating we are close to the times of the return of Christ, of experiencing the end of the world, there was something dramatic, inspiring, exciting about it all.

This is part 5 in a series where we will be exploring and imagining how faith communities, and our community in general, may need to evolve in order to adapt to our changing times. You can find part 1 herepart 2 here, and part 3 here.

In our last piece we discussed how our society, though regarded as secular, is very much shaped by its own God’s that demand allegiance and require our worship and sacrifice. We named these as Individualism, Consumerism and White Supremacy. In our last piece we dealt with the latter, in this article we will be talking about the former two.

Throughout the lockdown there has been calls to open various shopping centres, lament’s that we have not been free to shop, to browse and buy. And in Auckland last week, as Covid restrictions began to ease, the great Temples of this age…

Being on the road in my dreams or with a Tin Can Traveler

In 2009 I was placed in retirement and had to find an end to my artistic dreams and (to be honest) also to my dreams to become someone. In the previous years, like I still do, I had worked under several names.  There was the choreographer, the teacher and the writer, plus the one who had many dreams, not having the money but in those dreams going to many places.

Like some American blogwriter

I used to inspire my students by giving them what I considered to be the ten most important two letter words for having a dream life. {About Annie How It All Started #1}

that blogger had decided it was time she granted herself permission to take on the power of the words:

“If it is to be, it is up to me” in living my own dream life. {About Annie How It All Started #1}

Would that be not marvellous if we all could do that, just going our own way, free in the world.

Limited by my health and by finances, I just seem to keep it to dreams only. Luckily on the net, we may find people who are able to travel a lot and do not mind sharing those lovely experiences they might have while going from one place to another.

For Annie who lives in a home on wheels (the Tin Can Cottage), a Winnebago Mini Motorhome, her dream life is:

living in a motor home aka recreational vehicle (RV), working at jobs around the country, and experiencing a never-ending journey of adventure and discovery via the open road. It entailed selling my house and furniture, walking away from my career, and in short, learning a brand new way of life..

Would that not be the dream of many:

having and learning to have a brand new life?

I would say, even if Omicron wants to waltz with us, let us keep far away from it, and though we might then be a bit isolated, let us enjoy the beauties of nature. That nature which has so much to offer, but is also, like us, in danger of a terrible disease, the “greed of man”, the bodies who do not mind destroying their own planet. But when we and each other individual making his ow bit to safeguard that nature, for sure we must be able to get some candle burning, shedding some light onto the necessity to do something against global warming.

We do not have to sell a home, sell all our belongings like Annie did, but we perhaps could use some similar mindset as she has.

The most unsettling list was the one with all the things I wanted to keep. I was delirious with materialistic greed, thinking I could still harbor all the flotsam and jetsam from 40+ years of pack rat proclivity.

Mentally, I had attached the stuff to me as so many outer coats that now had to be peeled away one by one. The only way to do it was to adopt a spirit of philanthropy. I saw most of my possessions off to good homes; only keeping what I thought I needed or would be useful.

It took me most of the summer and multiple parings but my home finally took on a cavernous look. {About Annie How It All Started #1}

This Annie is now living in an RV and travelling the country is her dream life, which is lovely she can build up such a dream life. We can enjoy her travels with a 26′ Winnebago, Class C which has been her home since 2007.  It’s 25 feet long with one slide-out.  Her tow car is a Subaru Impreza Outback with manual drive.

 It’s also my “toy hauler”  and totes my 10 foot kayak on the roof and my bicycle, Big Blue inside with the back seat down. {RV Living / Work Camping}

For 2022 I would advise you to have great days full of inspiration

enjoying the day and the road, autumn colors, beyond blue skies. {Bald Eagle’s Message (#755)}

let us have our eyes on the plants and animals around us, and yes … let us be carried away by a Bald Eagle who takes off into the air, flying off into the beckoning blue skies.

Many happy and pleasant dreams for 2022

feeling transported to another realm; spirit time; a time to walk with those on the other side of the veil.

Like this Annie Tin Can Traveler writes:

There is magic in immersing oneself in a personal reality without and within. It super-charges the soul, brings forth creative forces and that forever feeling of joy.

When I open myself to it, that is when I find the most incredible gifts only imagined in my mind’s eye. {Imagine Hearts… (#786)}

Flooding & Factions

What is striking about the aid provided to the victims of the July floods is that no one paid attention to any national character or religious group and that, without exclusion, help was offered to everyone from all over the country.

John Jr's Blog

I remembered at least three of my dreams, unfortunately I forgot to record two of them, and so now I only remember barely part of one dream.

This dream took place during the day, and there was a flood.

A New Schoolyear, new plans

We are coming closer to the end of August. Though we may enjoy the third heatwave this Summer, for many it comes in the preparation period for the new academic year.

Summer coming to an end, most people having to go back at work on Monday, or perhaps already tackling a new season of daily work?!

Everyone makes plans and most often make new plans and promises when there is a new cycle starting. Maybe you too have mapped out your plan with steps toward the coming season.  Many put a goal in front of their eyes. You, like many others, have had a lifelong dream to achieve something that you think could be the right direction for you, then as you go along you don’t see progress towards that dream. You wait, you try, you pray, but to no avail that dream, that vision- just isn’t going the way you thought it would and now you are left with-  “ what do I do and where do I go from here?

Would it be not the right time, this year, to count on some help and guidance from above?

Would it be not nice if you could feel a Higher Power close to you?

Give your ear to hear God calling you to it and get working on it. Now it is time to get back the Bible in your hand, for studying, praying, hoping a door shall be able to open. Comt to rely on the Most High God and look forward with a positive attitude.

Make your plans and see what God is going to do with them, pray for them, don’t give up, something is coming and it could take a while but you will see how much He loves you just by preventing you from things that are wrong for your life and others around you.

Proverbs 16:9
In their hearts humans plan their course
but the lord establishes their steps

Letting go

Cameron

Letting go of the past does not involve checking up on it, or looking back at it and letting the memories fill you. No, you can do that years later once you’ve let go but never during the process.

Letting go shouldn’t involve talking, thinking, reminiscing, dwelling, crying, regretting, anything from the past.

Letting go means dropping everything. It means forgetting the bad and the good. Again, you can think about it all later if you want. But you probably won’t, you’ll forget it eventually.

Letting go is hard, especially if your past seems like it was better than your present. But sometimes in order to have a better future you need to think of your past as a dream. Let it go, imagine it as if you are just now waking up and you can faintly remember the dream you had but not really. Wake up and forget the…
