The next thing.

Lots of people wonder what the future might bring. They want to forget the past, not willing to learn from it. Often blind for what is really going on, they want to predict the future., and have everything under control.
Suddenly they are confronted with “the next” bit. Rolling into that, what they loved to have seen earlier, but could not see because so busy searching.

Let us be aware of past and present and learn from those moments that come in front of us.
Let us embrace the future and be wise enough to deal with it correctly.

‘You lack a higher vision” -Unknown

I have learned to care about the present moment.

Today I do not know what is next except for the stuff I have chosen to do.

You don’t always need to know what is next.

Awakening to the Present: Unveiling Life’s Infinite Possibilities

Poeticpotpourri

In the present moment, I find my bliss,
Where worries fade, and time dismiss.
No past regrets, no future fears,
Just now, serene, as it appears.

Embrace the now, let go of the past,
Each breath a treasure, meant to last.
Unburdened by what lies ahead,
I seize the moment, no time to dread.

The beauty unfolds, in every detail,
Nature’s symphony, a vibrant trail.
A dance of senses, a mindful embrace,
The present moment, my sacred space.

No longer lost in thoughts gone astray,
I savor the present, each passing day.
For life’s true essence, I’ve come to see,
Resides in the present, where I’m free.

So let us cherish this God’s gift we possess,
The present moment, a timeless caress.
Inhale its fragrance, let worries release,
Live fully now, and find inner peace.

fragmentsof myself

by Cindy Georgakas, Monthly Contributor

I collectfragmentsof myself
and place them in my heart,
Reclaiming lost parts.

Waiting, longing, hoping
for a shadow of myself
To come to life.

The past evades me,
the present scares me,
The future’s faith washes over me.

I bathe in the salt water,
an embryo forming into a new sense of self.

I return again and again and again in many formless forms,
And float off in free abandonment.

Ode to Summers Past

Roth Poetry

Dwight Roth on homemade gocart 001 (3)

Carefree childhood days before I was ten

Playing outside in the warm summer heat

Running the wood paths again and again

Imagination chasing each heartbeat

*

Soft cool earth against feet calloused and tough

Playing with friends among the cool tall trees

I loved those days they were never enough

Brought so much joy when we did as we pleased

*

Playing baseball behind the neighbor’s shed

With just a fielder, pitcher, and batter

Trading bubblegum cards with players heads

Mantle and Myers were all that mattered

*

Those were the days they are fossils on my brain

Childhood days… life was always much the same

Self-Acceptance!

Dr Austin Ejaife inspirit

“Accept everything about yourself. I mean everything. You are you, and that is the beginning and the end; no apologies, no regrets.” ~ Clark Montanas …

There are some people that might twist these words into something negative, arguing that this type of thought is selfish, unrealistic, or not conducive to positive change. But these individuals would be sorely wrong; for within Clarks words, lies the secret to beginning to live our lives to the fullest: understanding and accepting ourselves exactly as we are. Since we cannot change who we were in the past, it really serves no purpose to reject anything about ourselves. Instead, we should strive to accept that past part of our lives and ourselves and move forward. The key word here is acceptance, which is an integral step towards enacting meaningful change in our lives.

How Can we Measure What Does Not Exist

“Time brings all things to pass.”

Existence it’s necessary for time to be, otherwise time has no thing to attach itself to it, or run after, or keep time for, no existence, no time, existence of something, the beginning of time.

However today Scientist are not so sure, developments in theoretical physics, especially the rise of string theory, have changed their perspective. The pre-bang universe has become the latest frontier of cosmology.

Christian Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic

Sometimes people have to be confronted by something terribly bad. At regular intervals, certain people come to struggle terribly and have to learn by a hard lesson, being pulled down by an accident or serious disease.

Several people at a certain moment in their life got struck. Suddenly they become confronted by a longer period that they can not do the things they normally do. During that time of not doing anything, they are given time to think about the past but also the future. Then they can take time to meditate and to really start to reevaluate the value of things.

Before they got sick or bounded to the bed by their sickness or paralysation, they can have the film of their life repeated over and over again for days. At that time they have hours and days to think about all those things that kept them busy. Then they also realize that they had and still have so many dreams that they’ve had over the years and projects that they wanted to do.

From people who previously had serious accidents and diseases, we do know several people came in confrontation with the matter of a godhead, and started examining the Scriptures, coming to one conclusion, that there is Only One True Divine God, the Elohim Hashem Jehovah, Who is a loving God and not a cruel Being that would have His children being tortured or being burned forever.
It is then for them the time to recognise how so many churches or denomination lied to their flock and used fear to master them.

The devil, being spoken of in the Bible, is any or every adversary who walks on this planet. For sure there are many adversaries of God too, who would love people not to believe in the Divine Creator or have them keeping to the many false teachings, human traditions and heathen festivals.

But it are the real lovers of God who in such difficult times should show how they know for sure Who is behind everything and Who can be the helping hand in times of problems but also be a Guide in times when everything seems alright.

These days when there is a virus making many victims, those real followers of the son of God, should show the world how God has given the world a saviour and mediator, who paid the ransom for all the faults we as human beings have done.

Now is the time that all real lovers of God can show the world Who That real God is and how we as united lovers of God are not afraid of what comes upon this world but are willing to unite in prayer to protect all those around us, believers and unbelievers.

IMG-20161127-WA0018In the article of Janisha Jacobs, affectionately known as “Keela“,, the greatest hope is expressed that during this crisis more people will be drawn closer to Christ, the son of God. We only can hope and pray that more people shall come to see that in this time of fear there will be no other choice but for our faith to increase and to join hands spiritually. That in this time of not knowing what tomorrow holds we will learn to let God worry about tomorrow and focus on getting through today, with the knowledge that there shall come even worse days and even a more severe battle, with the third World War or Armageddon. Therefore we can look at this pandemic as a rehearsal for what still has to come and to make us stronger to be prepared for what is still to come.
Let us, therefore, pray not to false gods, like some many have taken themselves false gods, but learn also others to pray to the God Jesus also prayed too, namely his heavenly Father (and not himself) the One and Only True God, the Elohim Hashem Jehovah.

Keela's Chronicles

As most of you know, we have all been facing the global Pandemic of the Covid-19 virus #CoronaVirus. Initially I had no intentions of blogging about it, figuring that there is enough news surrounding the panic and I didn’t want to be one more person adding fuel on an already blazing fire. But, if you read my latest post you know by now that I decided to change my mind

All across the world right now persons are facing panic, trauma and a lot of uncertainty because of the effects of Covid-19. Persons are afraid, many have lost loved ones, some may not even know if their loved ones are still alive in places like Italy, some persons are sick and many others are wondering if they will be next. And all of these emotions and feelings are completely understandable but so very heartbreaking.

Shades of Life

There are many different shades of life presented by the many experiences and influences brought into our surroundings.

We have one great expectation to grow in our life and to make it better all the time, looking forward to perhaps an unreachable dream. Those who believe in the Divine Creator know that life is fare-most the greatest gift and that life is sealed by the Grace of salvation making us able to live by a still greater expectation of a better world to come. With that hope by the Grace of Salvation we can nurture our personal choice to opt the option of living and enjoy every moment we receive from the Creator. For that life we should be thankful for each blessing in our present life and the other life still to come and hoped for.

In our life where may be the shadow of all those experiences and special moments of life?  The memories which can build up our life and make our book of life a great story-book to accompany us on paths still unknown.
We may not be any more the one we were when we were a child. All those experience , which we liked and did not like, have moulded us in an other child. The innocence of our childhood is gone. But by the years we become softer and perhaps less experimenting, putting much more in perspective.   When older the empty days can be filled with memories.

Life may be going on for no reason, but we can give a lot of reason to our life, and that is what we should do.

We should all be writing

In this present world lots of short notices or messages are posted on social media, but to find serious writing on the net has become limited.

There is a serious need for analysing what happens in the world. We could do with some more bloggers recording for history what is going on and how we feel about it. Analyses of people giving an idea how a culture experiences the events.

It is for any person impossible to know what future shall bring, but by the knowledge of what happened in the past people can have an idea how things can evolve.

For sure all people should try to work for a better future and if they do not fix the disinformation problem, the divide will only widen.

You have very good reasons to point to Nazi Germany, because many factors are pointing that direction, and people could be surprised it can be as bad as then sooner than people think.

There is a difference between ‘recording’ history and ‘rewriting’ history. We are seeing this happening in 2017. There are those in public life who don’t seem to understand that technology makes it easy to find the videos from the past that document a statement. You can try to deny that you said something but someone will find that video and publish it to prove you are lying.

The current problem is not just the lying about the past, even the recent past. What is most…

Gone are the days…

From an Indian self taught artist with engineering background, who worked as an executive in the field of QA. Anil has a word and a photo blog where we can find very beautiful pictures.

Anil C Mandal

Lately, Anil C Mandal may have found the passion for travel and love for nature having induced another passion in him which is photography. Travel destinations and nature’s abundant beauties fascinate and inspire him to capture those beauties.  We recommend to have a look at Nature & Travel Pix (to find some of the 279 articles in the category Nature) The category “art” delivers also some very beautiful photographs and interesting articles to read. But at Anil’s Blog he presents his quotes & thoughts, where he perhaps may think , like us, of the happiness which is not something ready made, but which comes from our own actions. {Dalai Lama on happiness} Knowing that what you think, say and do have to come in harmony with each other to retrieve full happiness. {Mahatma Gandhi on happiness}.

But with Anil’ thoughts and photographs we can already have some taste of some happiness, without having to go to the City of joy.

Late-middle-aged bearded man in Grey robes sitting on a chair looks to the right with serene composure.

Ravīndranātha Thākura = Rabindranath Tagore one of the greatest bards and poet

Besides calling it “City of Joy” Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is also known as the city of Rabindranath Tagore, city of Satyajit Ray, city of Mother Teresa, city of intellectuals, city of football, city of procession, city of political movements, city of Bundhs (strike) , city of arts and culture (cultural capital of India), city of festivals and at last but not the least it is also known as city of best sweets and cuisine. Kolkata is the Capital of the Indian state of “West Bengal”. It is the 4th largest city in India. {City of joy}

Stories might be very different, though good writing goes for all over the world. Patience, want to give honest love, so much may belong to the past, to days gone.

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Instead of using what happened in the past as an educational experience and to continue the positive way, too many people get stuck and chained by the past.
Let us look forwards and focus on the present in the knowledge that perhaps tomorrow we aren’t there any-more.

  • Have You Ever Seen Tomorrow? (sugar4love.wordpress.com)
What is the first thought that comes into your mind when you open your eyes in the morning? Some would be groaning because it’s early morning and they have to get out of bed and go about their chores. Some would probably start thinking about yesterday’s events. Others would spend the day thinking about what they have prepared for the day and how they will get through it. Some would even wish that morning wouldn’t come.
    +
We never see tomorrow, because we are in today. Yet most of us spend the time trying to live in the past or the future, never in the present. How can we not understand that the past can not be changed and that the future can not be altered. We can only hope that tomorrow may hold good promises but should just spend time to make today the best it can be.

feeling stuck at times is just part of life.  So don’t fret.  Don’t get depressed.  Don’t fight it.  Just accept that in this very moment, it’s what you need to experience.  Embrace it.  Doing this releases much of its hold over you instantly.  And then, as mentioned previously, start looking at things differently.  Get out of your normal habits and routines and shake things up.  Take a vacation.  Do something new or challenging… and your stuckness will float away like a cloud in the sky.

Heads up, tomorrow is National Make Your Bed Day and ’round here we plan to celebrate. As we’ve always maintained, making your bed each morning is a great way to start out your day on the right foot. What better day to begin?

Turns out, there’s lots of evidence that making a habit of making your bed can be the turning point that begins a positive spiral. In his book The Power of Habit, Charles Duhigg calls it a keystone habit:

Many of us focus on the past and keep re-living all our pain and misery.  Others focus on the future and what might or might not happen.  People living in the past or future are unlikely to live in happiness and good health.  They are stressing about past issues and worrying about what will happen in the future.

Focusing on the present allows us to enjoy our lives and be thankful for what we have.  Here are some great quotes to remind us to live in the present.

Attitude of Unstopable Success

When people do want to get rid of the negativeness in their life they should come to the understanding that they shall have to change their attitude and direct their choices in the good direction.
To be able to find a path to success we get to put away our memories of the bad things. We have to chose to let go bad memories and most of all the fear for what happened in the past to us and for what still could happen to us. We must be aware that we may have to walk on a hard road, the one less travelled but the one with less hurt.

We perhaps have to choose to go into other directions than most people do want to go and we have to chose the better friends to walk with us. There is no reason at all to cling to the past nor to people who are not meant to stay with us.

For sure there will be haters of all sorts of thing and mostly of those who do not like us. But why keep worrying about them? Why wanting to walk around with those who so often doubt? We may doubt, but it may not catch us like a virus. When we do face the Non-Believers and the Unbelievers, we should stand strong in our own shoes, going for what we feel in our inner guts.

We better dare to stand strong in the heavy waters of the sea of this demanding world and have the strong feeling that we will and shall prove them wrong.

Positivism demands first a strong change in ourselves. First we do have to believe in ourselves before we can start constructing.
The attitudes given here are one step to the start-blocks to do the relay race of our life.
