a Path to explore more

When I started with this website, I wanted to share common thoughts or give similar minds an extra open door to reach others, as well as to present a selection of websites, blogs and writings I thought (and think) worthwhile reading or looking at.

For years on all my websites I also presented a “Related” articles list, to give my readers other opportunities to find more writings on the subject. After the many complaints having linked to their article, and having to search for placed links I was asked to remove, from this year onward, I stop to invest time looking for related articles, investing time to read them for after approval, placing links after the posted articles. Now much more time shall come available to publish more articles which are in unison with my thoughts and not bringing readers away from my own sites. (From the statistics more readers from this site went looking at the mentioned site, than receiving readers from the linked site.) At the same time on my websites I shall not any more bringing people to websites which are against me or my beliefs.

After giving all my energy to the world of dance my body could not fit any more the physical world of exuberance and graceful unlimited mobility. Having reached a certain age where they consider a human being not able enough to give enough to the world, I was made redundant, considered to be part of the ‘third age’ group.
First having been very disappointed by the way I was treated, the first two years I did not want to do much with ballet or theatrical dance. Not having to work full time for our living, receiving retirement fund, I could spend more time to my church work. My religious activities started even taking so much time I had less time to write at my own personal blog. (Because pensions not enough to survive I still have a few days a month I work for my living.)

I feel blessed that I am allowed to work at three Bible translations, even when it might consume also a lot of time and lots of thinking-work, being it a seriously very faithful responsibility, not to add or change anything in the saying or purpose of the original words supplied by God. Therefore, those translations in Judaic Dutch (Yiddish Dutch or Flemish), with the eye of two (or three) different groups (namely a Jeshuaist, a Jewish and an Orthodox Jewish public) is and shall be a time-consuming job with lots of thought and consideration).

This does not take away that I would have lost my interest in humanity and how man treats other people, animals and plants. I even became more active, spending also time in meetings concerning our way of life, necessary political actions a.o..
I must admit at meetings and conferences I seem to belong to a minority who strive to get unity in Europe, with some liveable world for everyone. Convinced we have to do something against this capitalist greedy world which does not show respect to the gross of people, animals and plants, I keep going strong and letting my voice being heard.

From  the moment I got retired I did not stop to seek a connection of like minds, to share common positive beliefs, and to be able to learn from each other about how to live life to the fullest.

Jonathan Hilton seems also on such a track. He writes:

Even when things don’t go as we plan, we all know no matter how hard we plan, life will throw us curve balls designed to engender growth. Our lives are defined by the lessons we learn at this moment and the way we handle ourselves. {Mind Connections}

Raising his level of consciousness has become Jonathan Hilton’s passion in life.

and understanding that when I follow and focus on certain core principles in my life and live in alignment with them, things go well. {Mind Connections}

He writes on the opening of his blog Mind Connections, admitting:

When I fall off, and my focus isn’t so sharp, then things are not so pleasant. Conscious thought about where my attention goes allows all of my energies to flow in that direction. {Mind Connections}

With the knowledge that each viewpoint may bring a different set of emotions, a different thought process, and a different reality to the perceiver it only can be enriching to share thoughts and to get to know more people from all over the world and getting to know how they manage to make the best of their life.

We have little control over the perceptions of others, but we may not forget that when we utter our ideas, share our thoughts, we might bring others to other ideas too.

How often do we not wonder if what we are doing is or would be right? How often do we not wonder if we should openly write what we think or if we should write in ways and words others would love to hear? I always have been a bad one at that. By creating my ballets I did not mind criticising the way our society was moving. I never tried to be popular by my creative works. [Choreographing fashion shows was a totally different matter, there I tried to bring the customers to find a connection in a future world to form. (We always had to be seasons ahead, manipulating the fashion trends – and yes, there stimulating human desires of consumption.) There it was also part the business to know beforehand what others would love to wear and see. ] In such way I also kept busy to try to find out what others would like to see and read.

On the surface, it is a simple choice, but in reality, it is a constant battle, {Life is a Mirror}

Hilton notes.
According to him

story-of-your-lifeThere is only a short time allotted to each of us to write the story of your life and with that time, we are tasked with a lot of things to accomplish. You have really only one life to get things right and sing the song that you want to sing. {The Story of Your Life}

We can try to make our dreams so compelling, that we will that we can’t wait to work on them, because waiting to experience them, in reality, is too painful. Often it is that enthusiasm which gets us to be restless and gets us up in the middle of the night to scribble something down or even to write certain texts.

A difficulty might be to:

Tune your enthusiasm to the size of your goals and attack it like your story depends on it because it does. That is how you write the story of your life. {The Story of Your Life}

At this blog I want to give, as many people as possible, the opportunity to share their thoughts which they and I find interesting enough to think about. I keep chasing my dreams that we can find enough people all over the world willing to bring others to see how we have to be careful which way of life we want to choose. As a Christian I also would love to see more people sharing the faith in One God and in His Gift and Good News of the coming Kingdom.

Once more, I dare to invite people to join us to share positive thoughts, but also to bring warnings how to tackle ecological and other problems.

Please do not hesitate to contact me, for becoming a part of joining hands across this globe.

Going to the end of our 5th year of presenting interesting views from different authors

On the 26th of March 2014 we presented our first posting on this site “From Guestwriters” with Guestwriters for you and Welcome to “From guestwriters” expressing our hope to find more people interested in working together to spread the Good News of the coming Kingdom of God but also to aim for a better world trying to get all sorts of borders out of the way.

My hope for starting this site was to present a sort of Readers Digest and to present some of the many articles published on WordPress which I thought would be worthwhile to be read. My idea was also to present articles with at the end of them links to some related articles. Soon I came to learn that not everyone was pleased to find themselves linked to. Several times we got requests to take away the link to their article, because they did not want to be associated with our community. It took already a lot of time to select articles to link to them and when requested to take those links away that involved once more some extra work. We hoped to help the readers but also the writers with such links, because those links could bring more readers to their article. But because not favoured by many, from this year onwards you shall be finding less links to articles from non-associated people.

Our intention was also to present articles from non-christadelphians and sometimes even from non-religious people. The matter to select the writings was their importance for the community and their relevance for adding to the peace process.

In the first year of this publishing platform we presented 234 posts, catching 3124 views. the year later we got 4333 views for an added 296 articles. In 2016 358 articles got published whilst the site received 7782 views. In 2017 395 articles were added but not so many views gained (6888). Last year we got 366 articles added, fetching 8260 views bringing the total of views to 30 437 for 1646 articles. The most popular day seemingly to be the Sunday with 18% of the views.

We do not have many followers but are pleased with the 304 followers on Word Press of which the Opinionated ManC Washingtonmichelledipaola and The Mystic SandBox are subscribed from the first month and from the first hours. Our thanks goes to them and to those who followed. On Facebook we may reach 275 followers, whilst Twitter might catch 274 followers and Tumblr 121.
Thanks also for those who did not mind sharing our articles on social media. As such we got 670 times a share for those five years. (Not so magnificent, but something.)

We are also pleased to find some readers who regularly mention they “Liked” our writing.  Some of those regulars supporters are a.o.  which also present beautiful pictures of this world which also can be great and enjoyable. Such “Like” is very much appreciated and we are very thankful for that appreciated gesture which gives us also a feeling of support.

At this site we wanted to show people that the world is not just Black and White and that the political system is not linear. But also we wanted to point out that people can and should do much more than they think. Much more people should be aware of their possible power which has to come from them selves. The inner being by connecting to many others can present a greater power and be a rebuttal against the standard political parties. This site wanted to bring such possibilities more into the light. Therefore I had hoped to find many more writers willing to join us to write about positive elements in our life. There are already enough sites writing about the bad things in this world. As counter balance we could use some positive news. though that seems to be very scarce and hard to find.

Our offer for receiving voices who want to speak up and willing to bring some positive thoughts is till going.

We still miss a psychologist who can write about making a marriage life work of how to cope with one self and with others. We also could do with some historian who would like to compare what is happening now with what happened in the past, or who can shed a light on political situations in this world.

Wanting to be a lifestyle magazine we still can use some fashion freak or people who want to write about fashion, architecture and art.

In case you have already a blog on WordPress, do know that an extra writing platform can also help you to generate more readers to your main blog. At this site we do not mind, better … we also prefer you link also to other articles concerning the topic discussed, and as such you may also link to other articles written by you on your own or on other sites.

If you are a writer without a high opinion of yourself, able to write not very complex articles, not having too many hidden meanings or twists and turns, you could be the one we need. In case you are a  logical, rational thinker who tries to write that way as well, you too perhaps could be the one we are looking for. If you can play with words  and can create poems for sure such poetry should not stay in your own cupboard but could be shared on this platform.

All those who have much time to read, why do you not want to give those who have not so much time, a glimpse of what the written word has to offer? Why not telling others about what is interesting and a “should read”?

If you feel called, do not hesitate to contact me or to offer your services here. We love to find more writers willing to share positive news and lifestyle matters.

A Place for Questions

On this platform, people who may have many questions, might find lots of answers.

Honestly, I am a very difficult and nervous type of person always full of questions. I can understand that my parents sometimes sat with hands in their hair, which probably could be quicker grey, by my innumerable questions.

Today, the medical world has such a beautiful labels for people with my personality or as many would call it, personality disorder. Being enormous busy, all the time full of energy, constantly with a barrel full of questions running around, I, here and there, have sometimes to find an outlet. But why would I not share some of those questions with others?

Nederlands: Logo Handboek Geo-visualisatie (th...How many people are not daily tampered with countless questions, but do not know where they can go with it? For them (and me) there is now on WordPress also a place where they can find questions that are common to many. Also there they may find questions by which they themselves also can pose other questions or give reactions. They may give their opinions on those questions. It is a place for Question and Answer, which hopefully shall be liked by some people. But they will first need to know to find that spot.

Again nominated for the same award

Leonardo DiCaprio in 2007.

DiCaprio at the red carpet at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival.

Good things they say exist out of three. I do not know how many times a person should be nominated before really winning the prize. Some very good actors for example were nominated several times for the Oscar Academy Awards but did not get the Oscar Award for that film. This year it is no different with Leonardo DiCaprio, though he after five times makes a very good chance.

Though today I’m not here to talk about important prizes, but I think it is about just a little nice pat on my back. Being a very sensible emotional boy this also may touch me. But it took some five and three years before I really got to act on it, when it was once more presented to me.

Liebster AwardIt has been some years ago when I first got the Liebster Blogging Award presented to me by a Zoe for my own personal blog. Some years later it was again presented to me by a blogger on WordPress. The same for an other award, being presented to me, I did not react at the time of offering. Except when I got several ‘awards’ presented in 2014 I thought several bloggers had found an interesting way to get new bloggers to come to know their site. I considered it some form of “chain letters“. On the subject, being bombarded at that time with several “awards” I wrote Awards, prizes, Peace and Working together.

In the knowledge that the online world has massive amounts of material that can make finding your pertinent information overwhelming I also struggled with the security system of the net and with what sources I could trust.

For me at the time when I was bombarded with lots of awards I looked at them as being similar to chain letters which were very popular when the internet seemed a very easy medium to generate free advertisements and/or spam letters and messages.

Jolien Davies, a Blogger & Research Consultant, with her In the know with Jo tells us a little bit more about “The Sunshine Award” and the “Liebster Award” which at one time may have been the same award. Though both, at time where presented to me by different bloggers. She writes about this sort of award that they had not the bad effect like chain letters them having

no threat of ‘bad luck for 200 years,’ or ‘swarms of flies that will descend upon you.’ Another term used for these ‘awards’ is that it is a ‘meme.’ This basically means that it is an idea, behavior, style etc… that spreads like a virus. So, in other words, it is a viral game of sorts. {In the know with Jo Sunshine award breakdown}

sunshine-blogger-award-200Being viral or not, by the beginning of 2016 I once again got the “Sunshine Blogger Award” presented to me by somebody who I consider sincere. He also got to know our ways of thinking and why we do find it important to have our say on the net. He namely was one of the most active reactors to our writings. Probably you may have found his reactions on some articles, under the name Black Horn. He and Not in my world have an “Our Circle” were they try to bring together like-minded people. “Not In My World!!!!is as such the product of a Circle of Friends on Google, who believe Pricele$$ is the only value we can place upon Love, Honour, and Duty to Our Children, and to every Child in this world.

Having similar goals we our pleased that he and his team presented us this award. To shed some light on the reason why from now on mentioning that award on my sites, I wrote 2010-2015 words delivering a Sunshine Award. After having been presented the awards more than once I thought it being time to mention it also to outsiders; i.e. our visitors and readers.

I must be honest. I feel honoured that people think of me and my writings and find them worth to be awarded by a special mention. I do not know such mentions on a website would attract more people to come to read more on it. First of all they have to find the site. Because there is no such general site mentioning all those who received the award there is also no general site bringing readers to those who are awarded the nomination and/or Prize, which is just the mentioning and not connected to any other reward.

Though I do agree, when I see a mention of a certain award on a site I expect certain values and subjects to be spoken off in a certain way. This also would trigger me to have a further look at other articles or not.

I sincerely do hope visitors finding our site and from now onwards also seeing the mention of those awards, will find human interest articles which show the positiveness we want to bring and show the sun-rays which we want to uncover. Not everything is sunshine in the world, so we do have to show the bad things as well. But when showing those bad or evil things we also want to show the other way. We are convinced there is an other way of life than most people are living. That way we want to show to as many as we can. You too can help with it, by making us known by others. You also can give us a pat on our back by clicking on the “Like it” button. when you do like us and have a special place to mention the ‘liked articles’ than you too can bring others to our articles, because we notice that we have readers clicking on the articles we liked, so they go to read those liked articles.

In 2016 we also shall continue to bring further other websites in the picture,though it may be less than before. This because too often we had to justify our mentioning them. It takes already lots of our time to find appropriate related articles, worth mentioning, to one of our writings.

We do hope by our selection of writings from the internet you may be pleased and be guided to think about those subjects. The readers digest we want to offer should give you an idea of why we think a certain way and why we do find it important that we join hands to react in this world. We still look for writers who would not mind joining us to strive for the good cause,to show the world we do have to come to a better relationship between other human beings but also to the plants and animals.

We are all part of the bigger picture and should be aware that we have to take much more care of our environment. Together we want to convince others also to be aware of our obligations and our responsibilities. Showing others the guide to a better life and environment is part of us bringing sunshine in other man’s life.

In case we have to nominate some blogs Pintowski’s Blog Envisioning A Better World, plus Cherispeak and Purplerays would be of them with some others we quoted here on this site already and those who try to bring some thoughts to meditate on.

From Guestwriters 2015 in review

From the start in 2014, April the 26th

On 2014 April 26 we started offering a readers digest to you. We wanted to have different writers presenting their selection of most interesting articles found on the net. We regret we did not find enough people interested in co-operating to create a free lifestyle magazine where people could find uplifting stories.

We started talking about the dreams we all have or have to have, because he who beams never walks in the dark, and looked at our position in this world and how positivism should enter this world more. Our invitation to you reader to share those read articles you liked is still counting. We would love to present more interesting articles people can find on the net. For this reason we started the Reblog section in 2014, when we looked if we or you have something to say or not.

At the opening of 2016 we would like to remind you that you too are invited to share with us. You too may be sharing your words with us and many more readers. You don’t have to stay in the shadow.

At this site we want to speak about feelings and started to look at the worst feeling, the one which pulls us down. Depression is when we can’t walk in the light of life any more. Our intention is to show that each of us matter in this world and that we can get fate in our change to positiveness. You and us we all can contribute and help to create a positive attitude. You have to get the right attitude of an unstoppable success, and once more we do bring a call to help to create a positive attitude.

You may consider your own journey in life but we dared to ask which kind of attitude you want to take. In 2014, when we started we asked our readers to begin their day by living their positive attitude and in started also to point out to look at the way to come to the truth. We went in defence of it. For that, we also started looking at Who should be your closest friend.

Though we may be lonely in the crowd we wanted to build up a place where many could find each other and could overcome hurt feelings. we do not ask people to be some one else, but would love to see you smiling and with a positive attitude or positive disposition.

Perhaps what we hope for is what you hope for. In September 2014 we repeated our call to come to write for us and to share what you think interesting. A year after our question what our readers are seeking we did not receive many answers. We expressed our love to find more contributors who could show ways of fulfilling our dreams. We do hope you could find inspiration here and follow your dreams.

In 2015 finishing our first year

On the first of January we, like many others looked back at the previous year and presented our first review: 2014 in review.

Our first year we got visitors from 71 countries in all. 13 countries were added in 2015 bringing the total to 84 countries in all, with most visitors again coming from The United States (2467). Netherlands (351) & United Kingdom (341) were not far behind. Based in Belgium we only could get the attention of 181 viewers in Belgium in 2015, which is not much, but which can be caused by not many writings being in Dutch, French or German. We are pleased we also got 141 viewers from Down Under.

Knowing that we need light on our path in life, near the end of 2015 we also started placing some reflections or meditations texts, which we shall continue to do. Because we did so often got questions why we referred to some ones website article, or got requests to take some listed article out of the list of “Further reading” we shall enter less references or note lesser further readings. Normally you would think people would be pleased when there is placed a link to their site, but at several of our websites we got an other impression, hearing people not being pleased they being mentioned on one of our sites. Not being appreciated we bringing others to their writings or commenting on their writings, plus they not understanding we are helping them to get more readers and to get higher on the Google ranking, whilst we take them away from our own website, we will not any more invest so much time in looking for appropriate articles worth mentioning. Treats, fear and discussions in 2015

2015 was again a year were many civil rights were tread under foot. The Syrian war continued for its fourth year and brought many war refugees into Europe, a region where many do not seem to know themselves very well because kindness to others seemed to be far off. Though we are born to shine, not to fear, lots of people got over-manned by fear. At a time where there is not much knowledge of the truth, but lots of doubt and/or blindness, we tried to convince that less is still enough.

While viral moments and trends or fads, that took up lots of people their time and their Twitter feeds included viral phenomenon The Dress, pizza rat, dad bods and adult coloring books we looked at the major refugee crisis in Europe as well as numerous instances of terrorism and mass shootings. Whilst July, Caitlyn Jenner made her big debut via a sexy and scantily clad Vanity Fair cover shot…and her new reality was officially underway we also look at how we human beings manage with birth, our being and our behaviour and acceptance or not of certain situations. Bringing articles around abortion and life we were pleased to have as our 5 most active commenter  Blackhorn33 who is Comanche – Irish and a half-breed that’s Full Blooded American, who with “Our Circle of Friends” met on Google and was willing to contribute about Child Abuse -The Facts, and show the world the importance of the unborn life.

A place for a Higher Being and for His Creation

With less for more we looked at one of the major discussed issues of the year, bringing global warming and climate change at the second place and the refugees at the first place as major topics for 2015. Pointing out that it is important that we do know that we have to find the meaning of life and reach a state of peace, of old and new ideas to sustain power and to feel good by loving to be connected and worship something, we brought to the attention that we have our duties in this world and have to take our responsibility,making the right engagement in an actual two way conversation with your deities or more important to build up a good relationship with the Only One True God, the Divine Creator.

Throughout the year on this and our other sites we wanted to bring to understanding that we do have to come in a good relationship with others and with the Most High, even when we sometimes have to deal with the silence of God.

We asked not to forget that falsehood darkens the pure knowledge of God and that we should always turn to the Book of books, the Bible, to find the truth and Guidance. But to come to know the Creator and His creatures and creation, we do have to look with our eyes and to see with our heart. Some may think “God plays hide’n seek“, but He is always around us and sees everything we do.
The Almighty God above all other gods greater than all gods has given us His infallible Word, the Bible, helmet of salvation, God’s Words put in the mouth of prophets for perfecting, to reprove and correct. Searching or overlooking God’s presence more people do have to find His Word and take up that book that is Written by inspiration of God for our admonition, to whom it shall be imputed if they believe.

2015 once more showed to the world that human beings need a lot of correction. It was good to see that in France many nations also came to conclusion we have urgently to take care of mother earth. In this world were many have to learn that stuff is just stuff, it became time that man takes his position about materialistic desires.

The terrors which came over Europe should make those who call themselves Christian to think and have them remind and hear God’s voice, bringing them into the habit of dealing with God about everything.

Statistics for 2015

In 2015, there were 295 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 525 posts. On the 12th of January in total 534 articles have been published on this site.

The busiest day of the year was October 19th with 175 views. The most popular post that day was Whoopi Goldberg commandments and abortion. But the most commented on post in 2015 was Bible, helmet of salvation, God’s Words put in the mouth of prophets for perfecting, to reprove and correct.

For 2016

Guestspeaker 1° article 20140326With Guestwriters for you this website was officially opened to the public on 2014/03/26. It was the first of 230 messages for its fist months or the year 2014.

We wanted to bring an open platform where people could share their ideas about ways of life and could inspire and motivate others to make the best of their life. Lots of people do have questions about life and how we should live on this planet. We should come to understand that we are just a little clasp or shackle of the very big chain. Being part of the creation we can not consider ourselves the mightiest in this creation able to do everything we want. We need to be conscious about how the world is developing and how we do have to be careful not to lose very important elements of this universe, plants and animals, who are in danger of extinction.

We had hoped more writers and photographers would be interested to show others in the world the beauty which perhaps could disappear if we not treasure it. We also wanted others to sensibtise to come to an other way of living, giving more attention to more important things than all the commercial gadgets.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 3,100 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 52 trips to carry that many people.

We invited many writers but got very disappointed for the no-replies and not finding many candidates presenting their services. Though we managed to present to our readers in 2014, 228 new posts, which Word Press considered not bad for the first year!

We are very grateful we could find several visitors returning, 94 people prepared to follow us and some willing to like some postings. Thank you very much for those people who did not mind joining us from the first year and to give any reaction, by clicking the ‘Like’ button or by giving a reaction at the comment page.
We are grateful for the Opinionated Man who was born in Pusan (Busan), South Korea, who got to live in Memphis, to move to live in Colorado, who follows us already from the beginning, 9 months ago, and who so lovely knows to tell about he seasons:

We are the definition of love and our hands are linked as we dance amongst the growing and the grown alike. We enjoy timeless sunsets on picturesque settings creating canvases waiting to be painted at each moment. We love. {Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter}

We would love to bring all the seasons of the year closer to the people all over the world, showing all their colours and beauty, but also their mysteries and hidden factors. The beauty of the language we can use to communicate.

The November posting Reflections on the Great War #2  got the most views, whilst the busiest day of the year was May 8th with 95 views. The most popular post that day was Savouring pictorial entertainement.

We were pleased to find on

Based in little Belgium, West Europe, we got visitors from 71 countries in all! Most visitors came from The United States. U.K. & India were not far behind.

We do like it that under our followers we may find all sorts of people, young, middle aged and older readers, people who would like to stay anonymous and others who tell us much more about themselves on their blogs or want to leave their old diaries behind. We seem to have people who follow us who love life, nature, who put their focus on themselves, on other s around them, on the beauties of nature and others who look at death death as a “Superficial Value”. We are pleased to find under our followers: dreamers, poets, photographers, avid readers, crazy persons, people who like to enjoy the small things in life but also people who look for many answers.

We do hope we shall be able to offer for everybody something they like. And we look forward to find more enthusiast writers and photographers who would like to join us.

    Sharing Week is in full-swing in the Netherlands. Running until October 15th, with events throughout the country, primarily at Seats2meet coworking locations, it’s an opportunity to celebrate sharing, discuss challenges and opportunities, and envision sharing’s bright future. This is the second Sharing Week, which comes hot on the heels of the first one held in June.
    +
    The sharing economy is a very popular issue. With all the fuss in the media around initiatives such as Airbnb and Uber you could almost forget the actual value of the sharing economy. To show the value of the sharing economy, ambassadors organized the national Sharing Week where attention is paid to many sharing initiatives that are active in the Netherlands.Throughout the week, there have been events at seven locations through the Netherlands. What’s the importance of scheduling it this way? How do the various locations differ?

    The importance is to spread knowledge about the topic of sharing economy throughout the country. Because every city is a hub on its own, with several spokes around it, who differ in specific knowledge and expertise and who can create relevant connections in the city and around it. So this way, connections which are already there between initiatives become stronger and new ones will be made.

Phil Bosmans and the Bond Zonder Naam (Union Without a Name): Movement Without a Name

Location of Mortsel in the province of Antwerp

Location of Mortsel in the province of Antwerp (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

After long suffering the after-effects of a stroke in 1994 father Phil Bosmans, the co-founder and face of the Bond Zonder Naam (Union Without a Name), passed away in hospital in Mortsel, near Antwerp, from complications of bronchitis, at the age of 89, 17 January 2012.

Bosmans was born into a Limburg farming family in 1922 and entered a monastery in 1941. He was ordained in 1948 and sent to the Vendée in France to do missionary work in the suburbs of Tours. He subsequently became friendly with several worker-priests in Paris. He had a profound admiration for them.

In 1949 he was called back to Belgium to lead “missions to the people” and Father Loop asked him to help with the creation of the Bond Zonder Naam (BZN), an organisation that over the years has set up and run social projects for children and young people and the disadvantaged. Bosmans led the BZN until 1991, when he handed over the leadership, though he remained active in the organisation. On Saturday 2 April 1938 Henri de Greeve had launched the Bond Zonder Naam or Movement without a Name (hereafter referred to as MWN) on the NIR (Belgian National Radio Station) radio programme ‘Lichtbaken’ . Mr l’Homme and Miss Winkeler started in 1949 the Movement without a Name Flanders, which had a first candlelight action for People in Need in 1951. Their candles came in many homes, also our home. Since 1957 Phil has devoted all his energies to the Bond Zonder Naam or Movement without a Name in Flanders.

For most people in Flanders Bosmans was bestknown as the source of countless uplifting and inspiring aphorisms, later collected into books with titles like Best Wishes and Happy Together, which became best sellers in Flanders, the Netherlands and Germany. His collections were translated into 26 languages and sold more than 10 million copies worldwide. As a child I grew up with his writings, having each new proverb read and discussed at dinner table and put on the cupboard good in view for everyone to be remembered. ‘Menslief, ik hou van je’ was really a best-seller for our generation, inspiring us to spread the agape love. Lannoo published it in 1972 and it was to become the most widely sold book in Flanders. It is now in its 56th impression, and has sold 800,000 copies in Flanders and the Netherlands. Currently sales in Germany stand at about 2 million copies. The positivism was something which helped me a lot throughout my life and I found important to share with more. We should keep in mind that he said:

“A good mood is infectious”

BzN-Mov Without a Name-Logo_ENOur society loosing track of the gentle words and social feelings of sharing and agape love has a big need of a recollection of Bosmans inspirational words. Therefore I am pleased that the organisation Bond Zonder Naam, in English: Movement Without a Name allowed us to publicize some of their writings and placing some recollections of Bosmans’s fruitful thoughts.

In 2003 MWN got nominated as chairman for URI Europe. In 2007 MWN organised URI Global Council and European conference in Antwerp and started a Flemish Platform for Interfaith Dialogue.

For over 50 years, 3 generations and 200,000 families have proven that they appreciate what MWN has to offer. We are grateful we can share their beautiful work with you on this platform and do hope you shall come to know them better.

‘Without a name’ stands for the belief that people can achieve great things when they are willing to give it their all without claiming the achievements. I also do believe when a person can put himself aside he shall be able to help the others even better. May I ask you to get to know their work better and to give it your support. We also with them, encourage everyone to support the common goal without anyone claiming the results. We on our selves perhaps can do not much, but together we can do a lot. We only can try to do our best and we can try to help as much as we can wherever we can. I also believe we as creatures, allowed to live on this world, by our Divine Creator, should be thankful that we are able to live in a good environment. Not all people are so lucky. Those who are not so fortunate we should help. Each of us should be willing to give the best of themselves, which would mean that they can give enough. Consequently, you too can contribute to MWN in many different ways: you can donate time, commitment and material or financial support, which helps them to organise their initiatives.

‘Without a name’ also means that MWN stands up for ‘nameless people’ and makes certain taboo issues a subject of discussion.

And finally ‘without a name’ means that MWN is not affiliated with any political, philosophical or religious organisation. It refers unmistakeably to the free spirit MWN so deeply cherishes.

MWN is recognized by the Belgian government and is entitled to provide donation certificates. Donations over €40,00 are tax-deductible in Belgium, whether they are single contributions or plural contributions, which, combined, mount up to €40,00. MWN delivers the donation certificates in March of the subsequent year (only applicable in Belgium).

Do you have a writer or presenter in you?

It is incredible how computer technology evolved and how much easier internet became. Lots of people are not any more surprised they can find the world at their fingertip. People go online for a number of reasons. They go online to research a potential purchase, to seek solutions for a problem they’re having and to be entertained.

Many say that if the blog provides all three; products, information, and entertainment then it is in tip top shape.To be honest; we do not want to sell the loved articles or present the newest assets. We only want to sell ‘positive news‘, ‘love‘ and the ‘Word of God‘. That last bit most often frightens people so much they turn it off straight ahead. Us using the Name of God and mentioning about His Works makes us less beloved. Not being ashamed to openly tell people Who we love and worship makes it even more difficult to get people working together with us or willing to come along with us on this project of bringing the positive Good News.

On the 26th of March we wrote our first message: Guestwriters for you and did send a message in the world inviting writers to join us. Up till now we did not get many answers, no negative and no positive ones.

At the beginning of the new year, we would like to repeat our invitation. In case you as reader do find you may contribute something positive and would not mind sharing your thoughts to uplift others, you are welcome. This site has no intention to become a religious blog, so you do not have to talk always about God. But you may not mind He will be mentioned now and then, because this blog wants to present to the reader the important things in life. We would like to offer those things which can make life easier, more bearable, giving more joy to people around us. We agree also that we intend also to present stories of people which can give an impression of how they see life, their relation to others, their relation to nature. We also are convinced we are part of the universe and should be in a good relation with nature; Therefore we would love to find writers who also can tell about the urgency of taking care of that precious nature.

Living in this world of thriving economy, hard labour and harsh reality we have to find ways to survive, to feel ourselves good, to find ways to succeed but also to find ways to relax. When you have some good ideas which can help others with it, why not sharing it? If you can write about ways to meditate, relax, to find the self, why not offering your help to those who come along the internet to find answers for making their life easier?

We would love to find more authors who can bring some articles at regular time about ‘lifestyle‘, ‘fashion’, ‘culture‘, ‘entertainment‘, ‘parenting’, ‘family matters’, ‘relationships’, ‘marriage’, ‘environment’, ‘crafts’, ‘arts’, ‘food’, ‘economics’ and also visual elements like cartoons, drawings and photographs. If you are good in one of them, why not react and act! Why not present yourself and let your work be seen to many more people. Together on one platform you can reach much more people than each can reach on his or her own personal blog. Having a say over here you as co-author also shall be able to promote your own personal blog and be able to guide those who are willing to find more of your work, also coming to look at your personal site. It is a win-win situation. Having your work presented over here you can get more people to know your work.

At the beginning of this new year we would love to send out our call for writers. In case you do not feel ready for it, but perhaps do know somebody who might be interested, why not speak to him or her and get him or her in contact with us?

Everybody who has something to tell or who finds something worth reading is welcome. The contributor, if he or she is not really a writer does not have to write all the articles him or herself. We also look for people who come across interesting articles and do find it worthwhile to share them with others. Our intention is to bring a readers digest, offering our readers a selection of interesting reading material which was/is published on the worldwide internet. Anybody who spend time reading and looking at several websites, who think he or she found something interesting for others, might share it with our readers. Be it a poem, a story, a study, review or article of interest, why not reblog it on this site? We are convinced it should be possible for you to find at least two or three article a year which you find interesting enough that others should read it. In case ten volunteers present themselves and would reblog two articles in a year, we would be able to present nearly every week an article to get us and our visitors a good taste.

It should not be so difficult to find something interesting once or twice a year. Writing just a few thoughts once or twice a year is perhaps more difficult, but when you consider it like writing a letter to some one you like, it becomes perhaps easier.

We love to find more stories and poems which can inspire people or take their mind of the daily problems. In case you feel you might give your itchy fingers the opportunity to try out it scribbles, why not take the chance to present your first poetic adventures here?

The good news is your content can provide both the information and the entertainment and when written well, can also inspire purchases or clicks to your newsletter, your personal blog, or affiliate links.

Do you have to tell a story, are able to talk about general shared human experiences, perhaps do have a sense of enlightenment and humour, have reason to believe you may give good advice and know how to solve some problems, when you have something to write which can change the reader’s life, you should contact us and be ready to help others by presenting your thoughts on the internet on this site.

Here are a few ideas to provide value for ‘your customers’ and prospects:

* How to articles, videos, and audio
* Tips articles, videos, and audio
* Case studies
* Workbooks and reports
* Interviews with experts
* Product reviews

  • How to Create Clickable Headlines (getresponse.com)
    No one writes in a vacuum and when your content is posted and shared it’ll appear in amongst loads of other headlines. Yours must stand out regardless of where it ends up. Online readers have a vast library at their fingertips, so ensure that your headline is convincing and pulls them in.
    +
    This is obviously subjective but if you’re honest with your writing you’ll find that you have a unique voice. Use it and devise headlines that stand out and make online denizens want to read more. Make sure that your piece has a clear goal and relate everything to that. Add your article keyword (usually frontloaded) to your headline and you’ll make it more easily searchable.Whatever subject you’re writing about you’ll find that many other writers have been there before. This is why the headline is so important. Everyone writes lists online and regardless of the niche the format often remains the same.
  • Copywriting 101: How to Create Words That Persuade and Sell (getresponse.com)
    Write every single sentence with the intent of getting the next one read, and the one after, and so on .. That’s the job of your headline. To get your readers to read the first sentence. Your headlines don’t have to be sleazy.Remember you are writing headlines for a people who are most likely to be interested in what you have to say. When you are writing to a warm traffic, you don’t have to worry about converting that extra 0.01% of your traffic. It won’t make or break you. Your headline’s job is to get your first sentence read. It doesn’t have to scream in your reader’s face.
  • Happiness (magdalenaperks.wordpress.com)
    Joy is not just happiness. Happiness can be as fleeting as eating an ice cream cone on a hot, sunny day. Happiness can be the mere moments we lose our concerns and worry while watching a comedy or reading an exciting book. There is nothing wrong with that kind of happiness, as long as we don’t think that is all the happiness we need. That kind of happiness becomes addictive, and we need more and more to even begin to feel happy in it. True happiness never takes from others, or puts our own pleasure above theirs. Mere pleasurable happiness is not going to lead to joy.
  • Keeping Your Audience Reading with Breathless Anticipation (getresponse.com)
    Good writing begins with a question: what are you really writing about? Without a clear answer, your writing will wander around, and your readers will wander away.So define a premise — a guiding idea. The thriller Jurassic Park pits the smartest animals ever (human beings) in a battle against the biggest (dinosaurs). Can brains compete with brawn…  and wicked teeth?Your business story may not have the mass appeal of a dinosaur attack. But readers who need you most will be spellbound. After all, it’s about them: a problem that keeps them awake at night, a problem you can solve.
  • How Non-Writers Can Craft Business Blogs (kissmetrics.com)
    Knowing what to write about is just as important as how you write it. Posting to a business blog every day is possible but not worth the effort if no one reads it. Luckily, hunting down topics isn’t too difficult:

    • Stay up to date on what competitors are blogging about. Write a response or approach the subject from your own perspective.
    • Search through comments your readers leave on social media and blogs. These “clues” can lead to increased interaction with followers and help you leverage the content that works.
    • Research trending subjects on Google and news outlets. Is there some industry trend or social event in progress that can be recycled as a topic?

    Not every topic needs to cover a major controversy or explore groundbreaking research. Business bloggers should take the “one for me, one for them” approach. This means that some topics can be focused on you, your business, and new things you’re doing and how they apply to readers.

  • Drawn to the Dark Side (psychologytoday.com)
    No one would describe me as all doom and gloom. I’m hyper-social. I laugh a lot. I practice yoga and believe in brightening a stranger’s day with a small act of kindness. But if you put me in the vicinity of someone preternaturally happy, I’m suspicious. What are they hiding? What’s really going on? What do they have to convince themselves is true in order to maintain this constant cheeriness? I believe you can be extremely self-aware and cheerful. But “happiness” as behavior in our culture is often a shield against truths we don’t want to admit.
  • The 7 Golden Rules of Blogging (cristianmihai.net)
    I was quite sure that I would never become a successful blogger. I created some blogs on various platforms, but I never had the patience to build an audience. The thing is that I never asked myself whether I had something worth writing about on an almost daily basis. I think this is something a lot of bloggers struggle with. What’s worth sharing? What’s considered useful information? Also, I believe that a lot of writers simply focus too much on trying to come up with an original idea for a blog, a new approach, a new angle.I believe passion is the key element in any creative endeavor.
  • The Empathy Library (kasiajames.wordpress.com)
    Founded by School of Life member Roman Krznaric, it’s a fabulous new on-line resource to help us to walk in mile in someone elses shoes. It seems an idea very much in the footsteps of what the School of Life has been pioneering: a new and more considered way of thinking about the big issues of life, free from the traditional ways of teaching. If you’ve read any of the books by the philosophers and writers involved, you’ll know just what I mean. In an increasingly ‘blip-vert’ society (extra points if you get the reference! 🙂 ), their work is refreshingly well considered.

Putting your feelings into words and sharing them

Beings with feelings

Let's Talk About Feelings

Let’s Talk About Feelings (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

All human beings have feelings. We have to cope with them. There are many ways to cope with them.
We also see lots of things happening around us. We are touched with what we notice, and we also want to give a voice to our feelings. We all want to be heard as well.

You too may find that putting your feelings into words and sharing them with a sympathetic listener will make it easier to deal with them.

Writing can also be a helpful release. Some who find it difficult to talk about their feelings may find it easier to express themselves in writing.

Looking at old writings

Most of the things today are not written for education, but we still should find time to look for writings that can edify us. We can take time to look at the old writings which were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope. In the very old books we can find people who wrote down their thoughts so that others also could hear about them. But they also put their feelings in their writings to get freedom in their inner soul.

Following the death of Saul and Jonathan, the faithful man David wrote a deeply mournful song in which he poured out his sorrow. This emotional dirge eventually became part of the Bible book of Second Samuel.—2 Samuel 1:17–27.

Crying may also serve as an emotional release. “For everything there is an appointed time, even . . . a time to weep,” says the Bible. (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4) To be sure, the death of someone we love is “a time to weep.” Tears of grief are nothing to be embarrassed about. The Bible contains many examples of faithful men and women who openly expressed their grief by weeping. (Genesis 23:2; 2 Samuel 1:11, 12) Jesus Christ “gave way to tears” when he neared the tomb of his dear friend Lazarus, who had recently died.—John 11:33, 35.

Working through grief takes patience, for you may feel that you are on an emotional roller coaster. Remember that you do not have to be ashamed of your tears. Many faithful individuals have found that shedding tears of grief is a normal and necessary part of the healing process.

Sharing is helping

Putting down words of feeling can help you but also can help others.

It is a matter of sharing love for each-other that we should share thoughts with each other. We, by bringing matters to attention, can bring others to think about that matter. By publishing our own story we might show others they are not alone having those feelings or having to go through the same struggle.

Social networking Web sites

The last few years several placed their little pieces   and their little stories on Facebook. Recently they added Twitter to give some shouts into the internet world, or they threw in a nod to Google+ or Circles. We may even find pets with Facebook pages and politicians’ Internet campaigns and etiquette for R.S.V.P.’ing to events and the best way to wish someone happy birthday without feeling like an exclamatory fool! Social networking Web sites are the latest and greatest way to interact with other users on the Internet. Thirty-five percent of adults on the Internet now have a profile on at least one social networking site, and 51 percent have more than one. Three-quarters of users between the ages of 18 and 24 have an online profile.

The Pew Research Center found that 89 percent of these people use the sites to keep up with friends, 57 percent to make plans with friends and 49 percent to make new friends.

There are articles that tell us that sharing is the most popular form of internet use today. But what is being shared and how? As the world of P2P file sharing grows and evolves, various torrent search sites distinguish themselves. Some bands don’t mind if you share their music, and they even encourage it. But what about reading material? Who wants to share interesting reading material? Who wants to let others know he  or she did find something interesting to read?

Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Friendster, Urban Chat and Black Planet are just a few of more than 100 Web sites connecting folks around the world who are eager to share their thoughts and feelings. But just like in real life, there’s such a thing as sharing too much information (TMI). It’s easy to get caught up in the social aspects of sites like Facebook, but what you choose to share is there for all to see if you don’t limit who can view your information. The same study by Pew Research found that 40 percent of users have open access to their profiles, allowing anyone to view their information. The other 60 percent restrict access to friends, family and colleagues. Sharing personal information with strangers can be dangerous business, and there are some things you should definitely put on your “do not share” list.

Crossover, public and genres

With 51 percent of social network users taking advantage of more than one site, there’s bound to be some crossover from one to the other, especially if you have the sites linked. Sometimes we may find interesting bits or would like to talk or discuss matters not on our own private blog, because it could bring an other site of us in the forefront we do not want to be known directly, before our friends and bosses, or want to make sure no connection is made endangering our work.

Many do not mind sharing lots of things on Facebook, but are afraid to share real serious material on their blogs or on other blogs which reserve a place to contribute stories, like this site does.

Social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace cater to a smorgasbord of users while people using sites such as Subeta and Neopets are mostly teens. Social networking sites can be very specific, too. For instance, you’ll find sites for just about every type of car, sport and sports team or music genre. And one of the largest groups of specialized social media sites is dedicated to parenting.

Many men and women will be, are or hope to be parents. That’s why social networking sites for parents are growing all over the Internet.

Communities and chit chat

Friendster

Friendster (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

How many sites will you be able to find about the way of life, or how to help each other, working to get a better living together? You may find lots of “Communities” where is being chit-chatted about little things of the world or materials things, like puppets, cars, games, etc.. but who wants to take time to share something about the beauties of nature. Sharing about the beautiful ladies, we may find enough, but about the plants and animals we shall find less. Mothers, fathers, gamers, fun or entertainment-park users, all have some sites where they can meet each other. They all have their own social networking sites aiming toward connecting, like minded of from the same sort, online. Users on those sites can choose to navigate in different easy to use areas including Discussions, Groups, Things to Do, Photo, Video, Coupons, Marketplace and My Stuff.

Some do not mind to pay to have a “Family’s home” on the internet. Other sites, like Minti, ask to join discussions and offer advice to others in search of the answers to the perpetual questions that come with raising children, providing a forum for parents to share advice and network with parents with similar interests, problems or questions regarding parenting.

Focus of the writers

At those social network-sites the focus of the writers is mostly on themselves. From Guestwriters has no pretension to become also a social network site. It does not aim to bring the focus to particular writers. Instead of aiming themselves in the picture, the writers on this site do want to bring subjects and things they find interesting into the picture. The focus is on the material and not on persons or individuals. The material presented here wants to be undone from the writer, bringing thoughts which could be for everybody and should move many.

Here we want to confront issues and not so much persons. the aim is to give place to matters which should interest many and which should be of importance for human beings. The people joined here, do not want to put themselves on the first row. They want to approach others with sympathy and respect. They might approach the sharing of their or your thoughts and feelings with others. This they want to do with an attitude of respect for them-self with respect for yourself and for the other persons.

We are aware that not many people are interested to take time to read deeper going articles or poetry today. But we can only hope enough interested people would come along and would not mind giving their ‘contribution’. We would love to find a place where there may be created a healthy discussion atmosphere. But this site is not in the first place a discussion forum. No, it wants only to be a place where different thoughts may be uttered next to each other, without anybody taking a grudge or being disturbed or scandalized. We do not want feelings over the presented material to run high. We do not want to find polluting or poisonous words, but spiritual feeding words. We do not want to present destructive powers on this site. Contrary we would love to see building up material, presenting positive material.

Peace loving agreement to disagree

We would like to find all peace loving people over here. We may all want to have change, but we do not want to get change by violent actions. The general idea is to come to a place of peace with each other. We do know that peace at any cost is not peace and that we should work for it. We shall have to dare to put wounds open to be able to let them heal. We shall have to point the finger to the ulcers in our community. We shall have to face the illnesses in our community. Yes, to get on our way together, to find peace and a nicer world to live, we shall have to see the good and the bad things in the world, and be able to talk about them. It is over those good and bad things we would like to see writings on this site, by different people, who might have very diverse opinions. We want not restrict such divergent ideas nor a diversity of interests. Varied opinions may be sharply, but over here we do not want them to hurt any body. We all want to accept that each writer may present things from a different viewpoint. though we may differ from opinion we do not mind sharing together those different viewpoints and enjoying such a variety of ideas. (Imaging all wearing the same grey uniforms, all using the same words in the same order.)

We do not want to be blind for the different views there are in the world, but also do not want to ignore the different solutions which could be possible. In case a conflict would be shown it does not mean that such conflicting views would not allow a good relationship. It is not because we may have different opinions we do not like each other. We do not mind to admit there is conflict and consider the way we handle it more important and part of enjoying the peace in our relationship. Looking and discussion about the differences always keeping an open mind and having a willingness to work it out to come to a place of peace, shall give both parties fulfilment.

It may surprise you, but it should not, that we allow different opinions to exist next to each other. Presenting such different ideas also does not mean we would like to provoke argument nor agreement. We want to show that people can live together in peace even with different ideas and believing in agreement to disagree.

Willing to come together

Our hopes are that we may find enough people willing to share ideas and to taste the different flavours others might present here. It would be lovely if we can bring a pallet of different writers from all over the world. Perhaps it might be the nostalgic feeling of what we had in our children time, which was called in Dutch “poëzie”, an album of verses, little stories, uplifting texts and pictures.
The big differnce now being that in that album everything might have been centred to ourselves, now the focus goes to the others around us.

As adults we have come to see that the world doesn’t revolve around us and the world doesn’t revolve around the person. One of the keys to success in relationships is learning to yield to each other. Over here we would like to offer a place where everybody can come along and find material that can feed him or her to go on. In case many persons do not mind sharing positive ideas and inspirational thoughts, those who want to write on this site would be pleased to offer a source of inspiration and spiritual guidance.

Providing a warm, supportive environment

We all get some nice but also very unpleasant moments in our life. at the darker moments in life either we can get in our own little corner or look for a place where we can enjoy some light. We do hope this site might become such a place where many people shall be able to find some comfort, peace, tranquillity and find some inspiring notes, which can help them to get above the garbage they are feeling in.

We do not want to be pretentious squirts. We make no pretensions to expert knowledge. We have not the presumption we can solve all problems. But we do think we can help each other in different ways. The writers as well as the readers can find support in each other and build up a relationship of good feeling.

We want to offer stories of many people by showing an interest in their journey. We love it to share those voyages throughout the world. Not to walk alone is much nicer than staying in our recluse. We prefer not to be lone wolfs, but to find many people willing to live together in peace on this beautiful earth.

  • Emotions and Faith – Part 1 (commentsonchristianity.com)
    Humans are emotional creatures. It’s one of the things that God gave mankind that He did not give to animals (or at least not on the same level we experience them). It’s what makes life beautiful, painful, joyful, sorrowful and meaningful. It’s a gift and a curse, a crutch and a burden.

    “Even as you suffer apparent defeats, you may discover that what you are losing is not really anything significant. You may learn that the needs of your ego are not your real needs at all.” – Robert Hand.

    It is sometimes said that our own suffering makes us more empathic towards others and their suffering. Because we know what suffering is, we see it, recognise it, understand it in others. We understand what they are going through, because we too go through it.

    Pain, sadness, grief, connects us. We all feel it, experience it, get to know it more than we would ever like to.

    Yet our own pain, sadness, grief, and suffering can disconnect us too. Especially when our mind and ego get involved in how we process our emotions.
    +
    I feel blue and discouraged as things repeat themselves relentlessly and my efforts never materialize, never lead me to progress. My empathy is an obstacle as I keep thinking if I say how I feel it will hurt him and it makes me shiver; I have another pending situation with someone to whom I really need to make things clear and although she is the one who had pricking words for me, I feel guilty if I choose stand for myself.

    Do not fear the deep, dark, often seemingly bleak abyss of blue, breathe it in, breathe it out, let it flow and flow with it, see where it leads. We become stronger as we allow ourselves to embrace all of ourselves, all of life as it is. As we become stronger, how we experience life changes.

    There are hundreds of friendships and companionships in the Bible, but few compare to the perfect example of David and Jonathan. Saul attempted twice to kill David, and despite this Jonathan stayed by his side because “the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David,” (1 Samuel 18:1) and the two became as brothers, as well as brothers-in-law.

  • It Stinks. (gillianbarr.wordpress.com)
    The Bible doesn’t shy away from death. In our culture, we do. We use euphemisms. Bodies are whisked away on gurneys to be cleansed by undertakers   We avoid the word “death”–we don’t say someone died. “He passed,” “she transitioned,” “he crossed over,” “she has gone to a better place.” We “celebrate their life” but go to great lengths to avoid the cold hard word “death.” We prolong life in hospitals, we avoid making wills or estate plans or advanced directives. We don’t tell our pastors when we are sick or in trouble because we “don’t want anybody to see us like that.” We may show death and gore in action and fantasy film plots, but we avoid talking about how it happens in real day to day life.

When you think you have nothing to say or to show

Internet

Internet (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

We spoke already about the magnitude of material that can get in front of our eyes to read. The internet may offer lots of interesting but also less or not interesting material. It all depends on what you might like or on what you find interesting, or not. What you might not think to be interesting lots of others may find very interesting. That’s one of the beauties of the internet; it helps connect people with similar interests who might otherwise never find one another.

On this platform we would love to find different people with different interests, but with some connection between all those fields of interests. We would love to find people who do not mind sharing their pen to bring something what might interest our readers or gets to the point which we would like to have internet visitors to have a look at.

As not everything published on the internet is a precious pearl of wisdom that shines a light on eternal truths, on this site we also know we are not able to present all beautiful pearls. But we do hope we can find some hidden treasures and to show little beauties. It does not all have to be masterpieces or very high literature pieces. Just some poems or scribbles, little interesting notes, from some one somewhere in the world, which might be interesting for an other eye somewhere else on this earth.

Some stuff presented here may be very serious or wanting to tackle some serious subject. But life does not have to be all that serious. We would like to put things in perspective, present dreams and hopes, but also look at our universe from the bright site of life.

Lots of people go to the internet for entertainment and are just looking for some fun, or something offbeat, and that’s fine; we can turn to the internet for entertainment as often as we do for education.

It’s okay to write something niche-y. It’s okay to write something light, or to post a photo or two. It’s okay to rant, and it’s also okay to celebrate. No matter what you have to put out there, there’s someone online ready to receive it.

Those who are not sure yet if they can contribute to this site, should not worry if they are interested in trying to create a nicer world for those around him or her. You live, so you are, and you have something that moves you and touches you.  On this site we are mainly interested in things that can touch people, in matters which can concern many, in matters of which many should take consideration, like what we are doing with our environment, what we do with this world, where we want to go in this world.

Just write. Don’t worry about a larger narrative. Don’t worry about engaging readers. Don’t even worry about your spelling. Just write — start describing and experience or sharing an opinion. You can edit or reshape later.

If you doubt you have something to tell, or when you think you could have something to tell but do not know how to start. Do not worry. A cohesive story might start to emerge as you write. Articulating your thoughts might lead to a lightbulb moment that takes you in another direction. You might just tell a good story, no larger point attached. Start writing, and don’t think about publishing. Just get your fingers moving.

And if you do not want to write as such, you do not have to think you can not contribute. Perhaps you like reading more. That’s very fine. But when you like reading more, for sure you shall be able to encounter interesting bits to read. So why keeping them all for yourself? Why not sharing those articles you like, with us? Why would you not reblog a good article. Here we offer you a place to do so.

You read blogs because you’re drawn to the personalities behind them, and that’s why others read your blog. If you publish something that’s a real reflection of you — whether it’s an in-depth analysis of a political issue or a series of haiku about your bicycle — your fans will read and like it. Give yourself some credit — people like you, they really do.

Others are also curious of what you might think or how you might feel. We are living on this earth with so many different people, that it is interesting to get to know how they think and how they act and react. Many may think there are many differences, but they would be surprised how much similarity there might be.

When you think you have nothing to say or to show, start believing more in yourself and not only trust yourself, but also trust those who want to hear from you and who want to read what is on your mind.

In case you are interested in social or environmental issues, relationships and peace-movements, our way of living, cultural affairs, the way we look at things, beautiful nature, language, pictures, than you are at the right address. Here you can find a place where you may ad your thoughts.

Let us hear from you.

Asking for a Re-Blog

Who would not to have many readers on his blog? Those writing on the internet do they not want to share their words with many?
We are no exception. We would love to reach as much people as possible. We would love to bring a message of hope and peace, and show others in the world that there is much beauty to enjoy.

People should also be aware tat they can help each other and do have the possibility to play an important role in spreading some kind of writing, certain messages, either good or bad news. The world encounters already lots of messages of disasters, accidents, wars and all sorts of bad things.Why not having some more positive news. We do hope we shall be able to find enough people who want to contribute to bring more positive news.

In case Jason and others could help to get more readers, who would mind? Marcus Ampe does like the effort Word Press does to bring more ideas into the world. WordPress now encourages through their front page and “tips” the interaction of bloggers. And Marcus has also liked interaction and wanted to see more people co-operating. Most of the bloggers have a daily life, with a job to sustain them. But somehow they want to find time to communicate with others. That way they also want to grow. We too, would like to communicate with many readers and grow.

Lets all go for it.

We all have to have dreams

Dreams

Dreams (Photo credit: hufse)

Without dreams we are nothing. As a child we bring our aspirations to live in our dreams. We are convinced that we have the right to dream whatever we want. In our dreams we any place ourselves in any role we want. We are also convinced the dreams are totally ours. In our mind and our soul we want to sojourn and create our own world. We claim it to be our individual right to dream as big as we want.

Who cares if it never amounts to anything ? But who knows ? It doesn’t take away our right to do so one little iota.

Claim your great individuality.

Why is it that so many adults do not want to give way to their dreams any more? why do so many adults laugh with the dreams of others, and mainly with the people who would love to share their dreams with others. On this platform we do hope to present dreams of many people. For us all the writers who join us may dream as if they’ll live forever. Live as if they’ll die today.

Here we do not mind dreaming aloud. Here we want to give a voice to the many dreams of people somewhere on this globe. We want to say to all that they should believe in the power of their dreams and should strive to get their dreams becoming true. The people joined here together may have dreams of which others think they never can become true …. but when everybody would think this way, it is unfeasible we shall never see the seeds of making something grow. The writers over here may believe in peace and unity between all folks. It may look utopian, but by holding strong on the dream they want to spread the message of those dreams and bring inner peace to many all over the world.

Who knows where such dreams may lead to? Who knows where such belief leads to?

If there is no peace in the future it is because not enough people wanted it. It is that simple.

It will happen. Make no mistake. No way to avoid it. It is a cycle and for those who believe in the Divine Creator, they received the assurance of that world-peace and can count on the prophecies coming true, even when they still shall have to face the third World War and an other thousands year before the end goal shall be reached.

For those who chased several dreams which never succeeded, they shall also be able to say they enjoyed them and perhaps they still have  fantastic memories by them.

We may never give up dreaming, and we better take more efforts in sharing our dreams and living them to come true.

Oh so many people have become frightened to dream. Perhaps we should accept that dreaming requires courage.

A courage to strive towards a mirage, to build castles, to go to many worlds, and a courage to trust the ones who are willing to give you a hand on their voyage or to trust that whatever you may find when you finally get there, that it will be worthwhile.
After all, although reality can never match our dreams, neither can a dream ever fully describe the complex and unpredictable reality.

Some of the writers in this club of guest-writers may have fought for their dreams in World War II, in the 1968 upraising or in some other contestations or in one of the many worlds which killed so many people. Also much  younger voices we would love to see here, because they are the future. As such people who could have been at actions like the  or might join us in the future. They had their voices going loud on the marches for peace, power and freedom. They marked recent decades but saw many dreams scattered and saw how the world present a backdrop for today’s human conditions of stress, anxiety, insecurity and turmoil.

There are as many civil wars and wars between nations. From the individual perspective, the cry for peace is heralded as respite from the turbulence of today’s hectic lifestyle. In the past four to five decades we have lived in such a way as to create challenging situations in our lives and create even more havoc as we try to solve the resulting problems. {Peace In Troubled Times}

Today in certain countries we may not see so many “No War” “Make peace” stickers as we saw in the time of the Vietnam War. but we might still see somewhere a popular bumper sticker that states, “Peace begins within,” and a hymn that is sung in thousands of churches world-wide on Sundays, “Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.”

Yes, peace begins within the heart and mind of every person. Until we reignite the flame of peace, love and unity there can be no lasting peace in individuals, among people and nations of the world. {Peace In Troubled Times}

Those who have had or still have so many dreams of friendship and peace should dare to give their dreams a voice. We all should ask ourselves whether or not we have lived responsibly in recent decades and if we really tried enough to change something in the world around ourselves.

On this platform we would love to give a voice to all who are interested to dare to out themselves and to give a voice to their dreams, prepared to spawn national and international debates. With the widely reported impending consequences of global warming, catastrophes of war and economic collapses, the outlook may be bleak. but we do believe whenever each individual would like to take up the figurative ‘arms’ and do something against our ‘pollution‘ (in a broad sense) we shall be able to make turning points.

When we are with many we may give some impact and create some fertile ground for the human condition as they are fed in large daily doses at breakfast, dinner and all throughout the day. Conditions of fear, stress, anger, frustration, rage, insecurity and strife are the results of the negative thoughts and the materialism of this world, but the humbleness, the brotherly-love and the sincere care for nature, can bring solutions by which future generations can continue to build a better world.

When we conform to the world we allow the dictates of the world and its appearances to control our lives. The real of man is spiritual and divine, not the ego driven personality that responds to the whims and fancies of every Tom, Dick and Harry. Stress and conflict occur when the inner spiritual self and its outer personality self are in opposing viewpoints.

Frankl theorizes that mans search for meaning is a primary force in his life which is unique and specific in that it must and can be fulfilled by him alone. Our greatness as human beings lies in our ability to change our minds and the conditions of our lives. What is so great about living in a free, democratic country is that it affords us the privilege of freedom to be all we want to be. Individually we must desire freedom and make the choice for freedom as we live our life. The great author and self help guru, Stuart Wilde, teaches that we should “Concentrate on ourselves and leave the world alone. As we strengthen ourselves we save all of humanity, because we are all linked to one another.” {Peace In Troubled Times}

By getting to know ourselves better and by allowing others to know us better as well and to share our love for others, we can reach even more if we do not leave the world but would embrace it as if it is the thing we love most and we do care as our little baby. Fostering as a little child we should educate it and show it the different ways it can go.

It is true that we must desire a change from the stress and turbulent lifestyle we live today.

We must dare to rise up, declare, pursue and claim peace for ourselves. This will impact the lives of family and friends and spread out to our communities and our world. The pursuit of peace is perhaps the most followed path to spiritual enlightenment. A peaceful disposition calms the rough and tossed seas of turbulence, strife, fear and discontent. {Peace In Troubled Times}

We should join hands and not stand still, but walk together hand-in-hand, radiating out to touch the lives of others and willing to transform our world.

Individually transformed lives will create a mass consciousness of peace and there will be peace on earth, beginning with every one of us. {Peace In Troubled Times}

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

-Eleanor Roosevelt

    The story of Trishala Mata revolves around the fourteen dreams she had after the conception of her son, Lord Mahavir. It is believed Mahavir’s soul was conceived by a Brahmin lady named Devananda. However, divine powers transferred the fetus to Trishala. After having the dreams, Trishala’s husband, King Siddharth, summoned the scholars of the court and asked them to explain the meaning of the dreams.

    I was friends with dragons, and I could fly, and I had magic powers, and I was immortal. I was always either saving the world or ruling it with a wise but firm hand (it was amazing how quickly things fell apart when left unattended). My dreams had no beginning and no end – once I sketched out a world in my mind, I’d land myself in the middle of some situation and watch it unfold, inevitably falling asleep before it was over. They didn’t need to: the fun lay in the no-holds-barred freedom of creation itself.

    As children, we all had our own big, crazy dreams for the future. As we grew older, looked at those old dreams and dismiss them, believing that they’re unattainable or that they were just products of a child’s naïve fantasies. The sad thing is that these days, even the children seem to be afraid to dream big. Research has shown that only 10% of Americans actually set a goal in public school, and this is actually closely related to the very low percentage of rich people in America. People seem to have forgotten the importance of dreaming big, which can be summarized into three key points

Awards, prizes, Peace and Working together

On the 25th of April 2013 I wrote, on my personal pages, the page Bloggers for Peace. Over there on Marcus’s Space I wondered if it would still be possible to get several people come together to share like-minded thoughts of love and peace. Nearly a year later I must admit I am a little bit disappointed with the meagre result.  On the 29th of March 2014 there were only 4 likes and not one real response or reaction, though there were 9 Pingbacks.

Linking to peacebloggers

Give Peace a chance

Give Peace a chance by promoting it and by sharing your positive thoughts.

I myself did some search and placed links to several other “Bloggers For Peace”, but they never gave me a personal sign or contacted me further to really take further action. Perhaps because I placed it on my personal blog, nobody dared to join. So, I do try at this place. Perhaps a Club does not frighten them off and would give more people confidence enough they may say what they want and write when they want. Those who want to join the guest writers shall be able to publish when they want and how much they want, so they should not be so afraid of restrictions.

Awards givers and receivers

I do find it strange that I can find a lot of American blogs where they throw with all sorts of Awards and Prizes, and do seem to appreciate others writings on peace, spiritual and religious living. But I do never see them getting together and taking action with others or really sharing articles. To me it more often looks like an adventure of getting free advertisements for certain websites or blogs (the initiator of the award). Mostly they say to feel free to accept the Such or such Award, like the Inner Peace Award and to add it on your blog, asking you to keep to just one or two rules. The one to pass the award on demanding to share some kind words with that person, is not a bad rule and can help to spread some nice words, which this world for sure can use more. Some present other rules where we can question what it has to do with peace or happiness. We can see that by a lot of such awards the interest is more placed to the persons themselves, having them to tell about themselves, what they like to eat, read and watch on television or in the cinema. Not really about the project or telling more about their action how to bring peace to others and how to contribute so that people could live better together.

Altogether it looks like the maker of the award can receive more readers to his blog by all the links back to his or her blog.

We are not so much interested in awards, but we would love to see many more people coming together and sharing their ideas, bringing understanding joy and peace to people from all over the world.  This is the magnificent element of the new technology of internet.Everywhere in the world people can read and get to know people from everywhere in the world.

Big mess, noice and information overload

Xenon Halogen Lamp (105 W) with an E27 base, i...When we look at the world we may find one big mess. For many uncertainties about the future increase every year or even every month.
Our world has, to some degree, got used to living with uncertainties about the future – so much so nearly all plan for the present, for this year and maybe next, especially if they have children. There may be a lot of problems in the families and in the world, but every where may be living people who can shed some light in the darkness. When you would put all those little candles, those little light-bulbs together, you would find a major light attracting more people.

Internet offers a lot of noisy and spectacular things and tries to lure people into many adventures looking at certain things and buying lots of things. Insistent invitations to look at a picture, video, or the latest trend lots of people come to live in a sub-real world stuffing themselves with the junk food of audible and visual ‘noise’ and ‘information’.

:

No longer are there pockets of peace in the places we frequent.  Medical waiting rooms, once havens of quiet where the only sound might be the pages of a magazine turning, now have blaring televisions, sometimes competing with music from an overhead sound system. Even the relative silence of libraries is interrupted by clicking keyboards.  Places of worship, too, have become stimulating, noisy spaces in their congregations’ quest to become relevant. And, when was the last time you saw a sign that said, “Quiet. Hospital Zone”? {The need for quiet}

Instilling moments of silence and reflection

We would like to find more souls who do not mind sharing ideas with each other and getting others to know such blogs where time is taken to look into the soul of man, and to look at wonders of the world. Nature has so much to offer, and so many people are gifted to bring the beauty of nature closer to the heart. It would be lovely if we could have such persons who would not mind to bring their talents together on a place like this one, and enable those interested to go from here to the many proposed interesting sites.

Because time flies and we do not have much time it would be marvellous if we could have some people who present us with their selection of interesting material. Yes you perhaps could call it a “Readers Digest” of contemporary times. If you have qualities you would not mind sharing with us, why hesitate, and not join us? You may find here a place where you can place articles which could not find a place on your personal blog or which ad to or even may direct to your blog(s) and blogs you feel could be of interest to others. By presenting your selection you can help others to save time searching, but also wasting time reading less interesting blogs. Because of our limited time short presentations, reblogs of interesting articles will be more than welcome by many readers which can be build up, because there can be found several authors at one place.

Month of Peace

English: Image of the Oslo Business for Peace ...

Image of the Oslo Business for Peace Award (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

In a few days time we are facing the month of April as “Peace Month”. Perhaps lots of activity shall take place in the press and in your neighbourhood. Perhaps more people also would like to look fro more information or would like to do something against all the controversy and  fighting which is going on in this world. Serious teen problems like bullying, violence, drugs, depression, and suicide shall be able to find some more attention. and this would be some subjects we would love to see spoken off on this site. But what also could be interesting is to hear personal experiences how people could cope in live and how they think they could make their live and that of others better.

Looking at the world and reaching to the world

Whilst my lifestyle magazine “Stepping Toes” is more concerned about the way we are spiritually living and looking at it all, from a more religious point of view, here at “From Guest-writers” all subjects can receive a place, seen from non-religious as well as from religious points of view. Most interesting can be also to find some writers, who would not mind to bring up political issues and show us different ways how a society could work, to become a better place to live for every body.

We would like to offer young and older writers the opportunity to reach more readers. The writers themselves shall also be able to ‘earn more’ from writers of every colour, ethnicity, religious faith, sexual orientation, political viewpoint, and country of residence or origin. The public finding more writers in one place, willing also to direct them to still more other writers, by presenting links and reblogs to interesting articles can enrich us all.

Speaker and audience

Here the writer may be the guest-speaker and the audience at the same time. As such he or she will have the responsibility to engage the audience (internetters from all over the world) and triggering the debate, discussions and conversations, this in a world where there is a lot of competition in a (virtual) world where it is not easy to engage the head and heart of the audience which has a short attention span.

By sharing each others work we also want to world to show that there is more unity in the universe than many think.

Our common goal will be to show that by increased focus on each of core areas of expertise we shall be able to give a broad spectrum to our public, and shall be able more successfully bring over our message of understanding and peace.

Getting our of comfort-zone

In order to collaborate, many of us will have to get out of our comfort-zones. Those of us working in the non-profit sector have to learn to operate effectively along side each other so we aren’t trying to “do it all”. We do have to trust that others can do that what they are best in. Each having an other speciality or an other main interest is best to concentrate on the subjects they are good at or which are not yet been tackled or spoken off. We need to focus deeply on our core capabilities and trust others to fill the gaps. But naturally there have to be others willing to come to full those gaps. Therefore we would like to ask all who come along this site and who read this article, to think about joining us and helping everybody to create a way to reach more people with our message for making a better world for all around us.

Better than giving awards and prizes we let others know those sites which could be of interest and do take actively part in spreading good news, up-building words, uplifting stories and designs or pictures, showing the world the beauty which is to find if we want looking for it and seeing it.

Caring people

All those who join us should be people who want to care or who have the right spirit to look and find the “unlimited loving kindness of others”. It should be people who carry the “caritas” in them, the philanthropy and charity, to help others and reduce inequity and suffering while in process becoming caring individuals.

I am convinced, though we may not know the persons individually, with our writings we can reach them and have something to bring to them which can relieve them. In the articles we can point out roots of problems and show solutions to problems. Seeing and recognising the problems in the world, lying them in the “open”, we do have no other choice than to act and react, to relieve the pain of our neighbours. Looking at giving chiefly through the lens of amount of money is inappropriate and belittles the efforts of those who are giving far more of themselves.

Giving is about helping humankind and becoming better people in ourselves; It is a willingness to know your own position and to be aware of the position of others. You shall always find people who are better off and also whoo are worse off. there also would always people you like more than the other. It even can well be there are persons you hate. there are many people in this world who loose a lot of energy hating someone. We would love to bend that energy in the positive sense. We do believe that the more you start to care for that person the more each of you will be growing to each other respecting for what you are.Showing love not hateShowing to the world that we care, this will in the end bring some changes. Every little change will be worth the effort. Whether or not they will react, if they are going to say something to you, and whether they actually feel something towards you.

Hate takes to much time out of your life. It destroys your relationships and makes you a person you don’t want to be. {Hate is for the Weak}

We would like to bring the message to the general public:

Why hate someone and show them that you care more than you say? Why put in all that time and energy for someone you don’t want apart of your life? {Hate is for the Weak}

We want as many people as possible to become part of our world. We would love to see a rainbow-nation, where many ideas may find their appreciation and may construct something nicely.

Nothing is wrong to have an own opinion and being passionate about it. We do hope more people shall be coming out of their shell, to be wanting to become more determined to come out on top and show people they have the right to be where they are or stand in their life.

Jukebox of positiveness

Saswata Mitra tries to bring a box full of shimmer, being fresh, imaginative and alluring, like a jukebox, their perhaps you may ask and get, but also here we would like to offer such a sort of jukebox. We do believe the best medicine is the positive thought. We would love to find more writers and photographers or plastic artists who can share their positive ideas and beautiful pictures to inspire others.

The blog “The Mystic Sandbox ” initiated by Saswata and Navneet, revolves around crisp and precise about stuff that you will be able to relate. We too would like to find writers who manage to offer enough material to which many could relate and get inspired from.

We do not mind presenting people here who may have notions that are contradictory to mainstream conjecture. We do not have to go along with the majority in life. We also could try to convince others they are not so strange or mad to have other ideas than the mainstream. We would like to show others they might have confidence in the way they are thinking and the way they want to go, though it is not how the majority wants them  to go.

Saswata wrote:

“In life, we come across many challenges. Some of them make us who we are while some tell us what we should be. Sometimes it is the opposite. There will be struggle, there will be bad days. Days which would never seem to end. Days which would go on and on, which would keep hurting us till the end. Many of us actually most would give up but the people who wont will be the ones to face the brighter side of the day. The night is darkest before dawn but how can we forget the rainbow after the rain? We understand to love, to give, to endure, to find pleasure, to please but what we do not understand is ourselves during all of this. Life can lie to us and no one will stop it, it can play all sorts of games with us without us even knowing because there is no one controlling it. But whatever happens in life happens for good. Good of all in it..” {Sorry For The Long Absence and What’s Been Going On In My Life!}

We would love to let others see that we all can learn from our own bad experiences and turn them into something good. By sharing each-others experiences we would like to show the love for our neighbours and allow them to have a peep in our own bad and good experiences so they might learn from them as well.

Internet enabling us to bring over a message of peace

Let us all always remember:

“Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
-Martin Luther King

and that: when we do not speak, we also give a voice or “speak”, and enable that good, but also bad things, can happen.

Therefore I do hope many will be willing to join and give a voice to spread nicer messages than all the violence we hear every day on the wireless. We also do hope some will like to share some nicer pictures than the awful images we every day get to see on the screens of television and computer.

A small word or many words

We invite everybody who would love to spread a thought of love and peace to join us. Even when they only would contribute once a year, with having twelve writers this would give once a month a thought bringing some positiveness to others. It might be telling about something positive that happened somewhere in the world. Not focussing on all the bad things that happen in this world but giving once attention to something positive, the media may forget or put it somewhere forgotten in a small corner of the so ‘maniest’ page. We sould love to find some facts, but also would appreciate some fiction as  well, that can make us dream or look at the world in a positive way. We would love to see stories that may have a human connection. A real life story. Please remember no story is big or small. Every story matters.

Every one may come forward to share their stories or pictures.  they may do it by acting or reacting on something what is published here or they may offer their services as a co-author. It is a free choice. We also offer a platform where people are invited to share ideas and to talk their heart out.

In case they would prefer to stay anonymous they are also welcome to send in material and we will publish it not disclosing their identity.

In the hope to find many people who would like to come along here to read and to share,

I do thank all those who came along and took some time to linger on this site, and do hope to see them coming back again.

Looking forward to find more people from all over the world willing to share their contributions and letting us know other interesting websites, writers and artists,

Yours sincerely,

Marcus Ampe

Spring in sight

diddlewelkom

Welcome

There was not much of Winter in Belgium and signs of the approach of Spring seem sparse.

Quiet keepers in Waiting for spring and in Keeping faith when spring is late let us know that the keepers of time tell us “Spring is here”.

We have passed that notch in the calendar when light and darkness are given us in equal measure. Winter is past and we can breathe a collective sigh of relief and begin to enjoy longer days and the sight and smell of things getting about the business of growing. For now, though, that is only a hope, and what we see is not quite what we’ve been awaiting. {Keeping faith when spring is late}

For us it is like our seed is still in the clay of Flemish Brabant. We do feel the wetness and are eager to germinate. At last the sun has brought some warmth giving us the power and the spirit to come up. The landscape starts changing her palette of various hues of brown into green spots and since a few days the whites, yellows and other fresh colours shout for our attention. The sounds in the air start changing and are willing to come over lord auto-mobile. We also can not wait to bring an other sound.

Absorbed in this state of waiting, many of us are edgy, irritable, and anxious, even as we try to remind ourselves that spring must come eventually. We glance outside and then look at the calendar, counting the days until the equinox. Still bundled in our winter coats and scarves, we gaze longingly at spring merchandise in stores. We rejoice and celebrate the occasional mild day, even as our hopes are dashed by another snowstorm or cold front. {Waiting for spring}

The cold fronts in Western Europe are more brought by the politicians and the materialism people are caught by. Everybody very busy to earn as much as they can or having to work many hours to be able to survive in a country which has so many taxes, people more than half of the year just work to pay for the deficit of their country.

Many could have enough reason to dawdle over their food the government is offering them. Instead of picking at our food we tumble all the garbage of this spoiled world in the wasteland. We would have loved to start with a clean slate, but we are all born with the legacy of our previous generations. Living in an area were the battles of Europe were fought and being conquered by foreign troupes many times, we take an aversion to everything that may smell of trying to restrict us or to modify our free thought. We do not like to be confined to one set of rules or to one set of ideas an do not like to be talked into regulations or was of life. Some may like to be talked round, but we appreciate it that every body can talk freely and may utter different ideas than ours. We are not afraid of possible contradicting ideas or different ways of life. The variation of thought brings colour in life and we do not mind to discuss all those variations if time permits and when it cold be worth to consider matters.

We appreciate the variation in the world and consider it as a richness and not as a limitation or a shortcoming or fault of our society. We are aware of human shortcomings but do not want to be at a loss for words. We do not think words are no adequate to give some spirit and fire to life and give us joy in a world full of variation. We do not want a grey world where every body thinks and feels the same.

Problem for many in our society is that often people might have lots of expectations and being disillusioned not many come through. Then the question may arise “what do we do when life doesn’t work out as we had dreamed it”. We all want to reach a high point in our life. Who does not want to reach the top? But we often become limited because we do want so much to compare ourselves with others. What do we do when our status is inferior to that of others and the community around us including our family point this out to us?

On this site we do hope to have people to come to accept that every body has something good, but also can have something bad, but more important that every individual has his or her role and importance in this universe of variety and trial. We would like to avoid entering ourselves or having others entering a “winter of discontent”. We would love to show the world there is so much beauty in it and so much richness in it for every one to share in abundance.

Many people might also be tempted to cling to stories they heard from their ancestors, the world of their previous and ‘old dreams’, waste their talents on nostalgia, religious feeling, liturgical formalism, institutional activism, fundamentalism, nationalism, rationalism and more. Often they cling on to their dreams and eat their heart out with choking hopes of their ego placed in the centre of the world. By not accepting that others might have other ideas they  become goofy about bagatelles and scowl at mere trifles. Our of fear others might subdue them they go in counter attack.

We would like to offer some small notebook, where some ideas may be scrabbled in and where people can look at without having to look what others would think or without distress. You may find toddling and fluttering here this communal place, a joint property of different minds, people who feel themselves united by the forces of nature and by their open mind and willingness to share thoughts with each other without offending some one, but with concerted attempt to show the world the beauty of diversity.

Undismayed we would like to offer you a lucky bag or a bran tub where people are free to scramble. Any passer-by can rummage in what we do have to offer. Feel free to grope in the lucky dip. We hope every body who comes along shall be able to grope and find something of interest.

Those interested in adding their words are very welcome to do so. In case they would like to regularly write some note or thought or would like to share a reflection, they may let us know and we will invite them to come a co-author. Our mother-tongue is Dutch, so do not worry you speak an other language than ours. We have chosen English to be the  language of communication because we ourselves are not so good in the other business languages Spanish and Mandarin. If you would prefer to write in your own language, and this would be one we can understand or speak ourself, like French, German, Afrikaans, you are welcome to write in those languages.

The main joint writers shall place their articles under their and this ‘guest signature’ in the lifestyle magazine Stepping Toes. We also do invite you to come and have a look there and to find also other co-authors.

May we give some incitement to join us, so that you could perhaps reach other people than on your own regular blog and that you with us can give incitement to others to share their thought in a community of people who are not afraid to be together with other minds.

We would like to offer our readers articles on social, spiritual, cultural, political and sometimes economical affairs. All matters could be spoken off here and all sorts of guest-speakers or guest-writers are welcome. If you would like to present us, at regular or irregular times, with some nice prose or poetry, you are very welcome.

We would be honoured to find writers to join us who could write like QuietKeepers, who writes:

Now is a time of preparation for what is to come, to gaze on the stark canvas around us before it begins to burst into color and growth. After all, when it does, life will get very busy, not only in the natural world, but in our lives. Activity will ramp up as schedules swell with graduations, weddings, and ball games. Homeowners will frantically pull out coolers and grills, uncover deck furniture, and fuel lawnmowers for the first of many cuts of the season. Gardeners will feel an urgency to ready their beds and plant even as the local greenhouses warn them to heed the frost-free date. {Keeping faith when spring is late}

With her and others we would love to see everything coming to life again and in full colours. So that we can be

enjoying the cacophony of chatter from a flock of blackbirds or the song of a single robin as the sun amazes … with yet another spectacular rising or setting.

We would love to see that many may join us on between the dawn and the dark of night to walk on the many roads who lead to the same point. As wise men, like closetoeighty can send words in the world, whilst trying to stay young and fresh in mind and share the beautiful pictures of a China Sojourner Randall Collis, who notes:

The wisdom of Jerry Garcia resonates with me as the wrathful fingers of winter turn into the chilly, wet hands of spring.  I search for my path.  A place to watch and dream from afar; to quietly witness the darkness of winter transform into the dawn of spring. {Dreams Between Dusk and Dawn}

It is this strange contradictory nature of dawn and maturity that makes life interesting.  In our youth, we revel in the late night/early morning hours.  Intrigued by the peace of a post-midnight sky and the eerily quietness of the streets and the wilderness.

Breathtaking to feel so alive with energy in the dead of night, as if this moment was created for the young: the world waiting to be explored.  All the action and chaos of the previous day and night comes to a crescendo and slowly unwinds in the peaceful stillness of darkness. {Dreams Between Dusk and Dawn}

Together we would love to take a closer look at

what appears to be nothing and am noticing the winter feathers of the male Goldfinches start to turn yellow, buds on the branches of an Elderberry bush, and the first leaves of Bee Balm at the base of the brown stalks from last year’s growth.

In the belief that anticipation is often the best part of a vacation or a happy event, {Keeping faith when spring is late}

we would like to fill our glasses and bring a toast to drink

in this time and appreciating it in its somewhat awkward adolescent phase because (we) know without seeing that it holds the promise of something quite wonderful that is yet to come. {Keeping faith when spring is late}

We would love to devote ourselves to the cause of allowing ourselves to grow by the wisdom of others and sharing our knowledge and experience, working at bettering others.  We want to find enough reason to be happy with what we have and with what we can share with others, without wanting something in return.

Why should we waste it on pleasurable pursuits alone?  We should be making this world a better place for our children.

In case we could bring other people in the picture who are also willing that we would grow into a world where every body can live next to each other in peace, though they may be from an other race, culture or religion, than we shall be pleased and could find we succeeded in fulfilling some of our dreams, seeing people all over the world united with each other.

May we welcome you as a guest and may we look forward to meet some more guest-writers as well?

Looking forward to sharing ideas and sharing lovely thoughts and love itself.

Note: We do hope the writer of Waiting for spring and Keeping faith when spring is late does not mind we used some of her beautiful writing to bring over our own ideas. It is namely also our intention to bring some good bloggers into the attention of others, so that those visitors and we in our limited time can find something interesting to read and perhaps also can find some one they would like to follow.

Here you shall be able to find writings from many different authors, from different countries, who wanted to just place a word, which they did not want to place on their own blog or on the lifestyle magazine Stepping Toes.

This site was created to give various writers the opportunity to post independently on other sites or blogs like Stepping Toes, so that at such a place they could be found together under one heading “guest speaker” or “guest writer“. Over-there they shall be writing more than on this platform, but who knows what can happen or which occasion can trigger them also to post on here. Writers who would like to also have an other gateway to utter their ideas or to comment on certain political, economical or cultural events, or welcome to join us and have a say on this platform.

The main aim is that everybody writing on this platform shall be able to write from his or her own point of view. This can mean that one writer can opt for something and an other can just say the opposite. We do not mind having different opinions on one and the same theme or event presented over here.
As such we do hope in the future different authors shall be willing to present some of their ideas, articles, poems, stories, to a variety of visitors, from different cultures and religions.

Our aim is to give everybody their own free opinion, and to leave their ideas also to their own responsibility.

We would not like to find advertisers here, though the individual authors may refer to their own blog and their own articles on other websites. as such making your own material better known to others or making interested writings from others better known, on this site will be allowed.
We do not advertise on this page but will add links to pages with the same topic, because we would like to give our readers many opportunities to find other related articles.

It is only after we had created this site we also found others who have the same idea of sharing content with each other. We do wish those sites, like Spirit and Elastik guestwriters, luck with their intention.

Guestwriters for you

welcome%2Dglitter%2Drose

Welcome to the club of bloggers for peace and understanding

On the lifestyle magazine Stepping Toes you shall be able to find several writings by different people. In the “Guest-speaker” corner you shall be able to find writings by different authors. They shall not have to be baptised Christadelphians, could have been Christadelphians but moved on to other denominations or could well be very interested in the Christadelphian movement, but belonging to a similar or associated group.

On this blog they all may come together and have their individual say. Though most of their writings shall be placed on Stepping Toes, now and then a particular post may find its way on this site.

But on this site we are also welcoming other writers, who want to tackle different subjects, which do not have anything to do with the material presented in the Lifestyle magazine Stepping Toes. They also do not have to have the same religious opinion like us. What is important for us is that they have something interesting to say. As such writings presented over here do not necessarily have to be in line with the way of thinking of others on this platform. Everybody is allowed to have their own opinion and will find freedom of speech on this site. This should make it interesting because black and white can be presented here next to each other, giving the readers to compare the pro’s and con’s.

We would love to see more writers willing to share their ideas on this forum, but we want you to know that the majority of the associated writers shall have their writings posted on the site of the Lifestyle magazine Stepping Toes.

May we invite you to find our associated authors on the Guest writings on Stepping Toes?
