Running out of time

How Can we Measure What Does Not Exist

“Time brings all things to pass.”

Aeschylus

Existence it’s necessary for time to be, otherwise time has no thing to attach itself to it, or run after, or keep time for, no existence, no time, existence of something, the beginning of time.

Time Start

However today Scientist are not so sure, developments in theoretical physics, especially the rise of string theory, have changed their perspective. The pre-bang universe has become the latest frontier of cosmology.

But do not take my word for it, could be old news Scientifically speaking, I am not a Cosmologist with the latest paper on it, what I am saying had a date around 2006, who knows what is the latest word on it.

However like all of you, even a newborn, we are all running out of time, as we read this.

But if one thing we can be sure of it, is that time is running…

Some Hope for 2021

Karla Surguine cried when the clock struck twelve on January 1st, 2021. She writes:

It never crossed my mind that I would be emotional about the moment wretched 2020 would turn to history, but my heart was relieved to see a conglomerate of pain walk away. I am not a believer that a different day immediately improved things; we are still in the midst of everything 2020 brought for us. However, I know for sure that 2021 is the year of hope. We hope that things will get better from here. They will not be as normal as a year ago, but we expect this year to bring healing to our bodies, hearts, and pockets. {My Hope for 2021}

At the beginning of the year, we all have a lot of resolutions or plans we want to realise in the new year. On the 31st of December many are waiting and counting down, ready for a fresh start and a New Year. Every year we want to have certain things of the previous year to be put in a bin to forget very quickly. 2020 brought us something we shall not easily forget, though we would love to see it soon over.

It’s crystal clear that 2020 was not as promising as we expected it to be, that was a year filled with challenges and hopes for a better future that we so craved to come as soon as possible and now it’s finally here but how can we manage to leave that outdated/shadowy mindset behind in order to bring up a fresh one that can take us exactly where we wanted to go in the former year but couldn’t utterly achieve? {Tips For a More Uplifting Mindset}

How many people do not spend their whole life stuck in situations where they wish to escape.  This last year was for many more a year we all want to leave behind. Though so quickly it shall not let us go loose. We must understand it is still going to be here for some while. So we shall have to be patient.

writes:

Last year was a hard/different year and even if we don’t see many changes in the beginning of 2021, we have to be positive and think that we learn some things in the hardest times, and that good times will come. The good thinks we learned should be remembered and applied in 2021 (and maybe for the rest of our life) but there are always more things that we can try to be better. {Our 2021 Resolutions…}

For many 2020 has shown the importance of finding bliss in the little things and of being able to be with our beloved ones, trying to stay save and uninfected. Many of us could find in 2020 so much more time for themselves, because they did not have to go to work or could not open their shop. The obligated time for oneself could enrich us. The time of isolation could also be for many a time for reflection. We clearly see the result of it, by having even people starting a new business in this crisis time. Others found now the time to work in the house, doing renovations, or working more in the garden; All the green fingers seemed to have come out of the soil.

2020 surprisingly was also a year many could find renewed energy to things that bring them pure happiness, learning that change is okay, and setting boundaries in order to be their best self. Many people their eyes opened how they were the other years taken by their job full of stress, more working instead of living.
2020 brought them down to earth to reconsider. It was really a year of reflection for many.

Marcella Marie confesses:

I often get so caught up in work, stress, + daily to-do’s that I forget to take a moment to look around me and appreciate everything that I have. This is something that 2020 has taught me to do, and I am so grateful. I hope to carry this mentality into the coming year, because it has shown me what is most important in life.{New Year, New Manifestations}

Ranjani writes:

With a deadly virus lurking in unexpected corners, it was critical for everyone to maintain a good physical health. But it did not suffice, did it? To sustain those prolonged durations of lockdown, distancing ourselves from our loved ones, isolations and taking responsibility of our dependents despite our precarious emotional states, achieving and maintaining a state of harmony of the body, mind and emotions had become inevitable. {Entering a new decade with old values!}

We can look negatively to those lockdowns, or we can be glad we still could make the best out of it and stay healthy. She continues:

we are a lot calmer than what we were a year before and have embraced the uncertainty, albeit gingerly. {Entering a new decade with old values!}

2020 was for many a year that showed reasons enough to be thankful.

There’s no such thing as not having anything to be grateful for, it might be the most modest thing we can possibly think of that it’s still going to count as something to be grateful for, so grab a pen and a piece of paper and go do some grateful thinking practice or just type it on your phone. Whatever you fancy! {Tips For a More Uplifting Mindset}

Probably for most people things didn’t go the way they wanted them to go. All over the world, we got taken by the unexpected. However, one thing is for certain, all over the world, people are looking forward to some change.

A change in perspective holds the power to highly influence in your outcomes regardless of your setting point. So, perhaps adjusting the way we perceive things to be might not just give us the results that we want plus also helps us discern our dreams and hopes from a brighter perspective. {Tips For a More Uplifting Mindset}

All people were taken out of their comfort zone. Most of us are not yet sure what perspective 2021 might bring. But we all hope we shall be able to put an end to this mighty coronavirus tickling our society for such a long time. For sure in 2021 we shall need another strategy than in 2020.

See, this is the moment when we are supposed to be courageous and driven enought in order to let go of the control and boredom and take over a whole innovative attitude on how to take actions that are just as reasonable and that can take you where you are intented to go. {Tips For a More Uplifting Mindset}

Last few months we were allowed to go easy on ourselves and allowing us to have time for resting and even perhaps some time to go lazy (who knows?).

2020 was a rough year in which required so much of us to merely make it through to get to this point and so just for that we are deserving of the greatest amount of respect we could ever nurture for anyone…

So, please in the name of quality of life, the next time we find us beating ourselves up let’s remember that that inner, ugly and powerless voice has no inpact on our reality unless we grant it the strenght to. {Tips For a More Uplifting Mindset}

One of the good things of 2020 was also that lots of people became more aware of the difficult position others are.

People, otherwise preoccupied with their mundane problems, turned crusaders in support of the less privileged and the needy. There are reports galore in the media of people donating their earnings to relief funds, supplying essentials, arranging transport services, serving food to frontline workers, volunteering along with health care professionals, working round the clock to bring relief to patients, supplying medicines and protective gears, sharing their resources and opening their heart, mind and arms to fellow humans, across the world. {Entering a new decade with old values!}

2021 shall not directly bring new days, but the hope might be here now that in lots of countries vaccinations have been started.

In our minds getting something done can be a huge elephant that we have to tackle when all we have to do is beat the potato sitting on us. What happens to our dreams? What happens to our environment? What about our friends? Do we just accept turning into a puddle of screens or a piece of that silver tape on our couch that will not budge? It’s not worth it. These mindless activities just cause emptiness and blend our free time away. Again, it’s not worth it. By shifting just a little bit we can move the potato off its position and gain some momentum. Potatoes aren’t particularly heavy. {The 10 Minutes that Will Change Your Life}

The time being we shall just have to make the best of the coming months. Therefore, take some good books with you and watch some nice films with your partner and your kids. Take some more time to play outdoors and to play some family games inside.

Deciding to pick up a book for a few minutes a day instead of my phone, will water me and make me very fruitful, enabling me to give to others. As a consequence, I hope to sleep better, try new things around my neighborhood, discover new interesting topics, learn a bit about art, and cook some new dishes. Reading will breathe newness and refreshment in me. {My Hope for 2021}

Choose for 2021 to

  • find happiness in the everyday
  • read more
  • set clear boundaries
  • continue to prioritize health + wellness
  • continue to grow
  • to make the best out of life

To end:

So often we try to work at ourselves to change ourselves. But is that always change for the good? More often we need to accept ourselves more and find a way to fit in this world of diversity. It is not bad to have plans for the future and to work at yourself, but always think very carefully about it and do not have too high expectations.

We don’t know what the new year has in store for us. But let’s pack some optimism and newfound values and lessons learnt last year in our benevolence bag and make headway with a big smile! {Entering a new decade with old values!}

Good luck.

The Patience of a Seed

Roth Poetry

IMG_3308 (2)

The patience of a seed lies in waiting
Knowing that at the opportune time
It will germinate, push out a root, and grow.
Too much sun will dry it up;
Too much rain will drown it // make it rot;
And, soil too hard will not let it take root;
Only when the combination of soil, light, and moisture
Is perfect will it grow and produce leaves and fruit.
*
Our life is much the same // waiting
For the opportune time to grow and shine.
The difficulty is always in the waiting;
Avoiding the scorching light of flattery and praise
Don’t get carried away by the storms of life
Take root in the rich soil of people who love you
Be patient // like a seed… humble and strong;
You’ll know when your time has come.

Looking forward to a year full of Kindness

Christine Greenwood is an author, health consultant and business entrepreneur, who finds New years time to be a time for reflection of the past year and goal setting for the coming year. She is also a huge believer in reflection of the year past, distilling the wisdom of lessons learned and a big believer in prayerfully setting annual goals for the year to come and practical strategies of how to get there. {2019 – Our Year of Kindness}

One of the goals she likes to set are character goals, things that she would like to concentrate on her life for that year. For 2019 one she wants to share  is Kindness. She writes

I have discovered that every person that I deeply respect and love have has a common attribute. They are Kind. Deeply, consistently, and unapologetically Kind. {2019 – Our Year of Kindness}

Lovely to hear that those people around her have that common attribute. That is not so obvious or normal as many would hope for. Kindness becomes a rare aspect of our materialist world. Not many people are having empathy with others or are willing to show their good heart for them. Kindness is missing in a lot of discussions and talks on the social media. Over-there we can see a lot of ugly words and calling names. The way people talk today says a lot of the wrong going of our society. We have to admit in the so called civilised countries the way they treat people is not always better than in the uncivilised countries.

When Christine Greenwood tries to define kindness, she admits to falter.

If we would know her husband we, according to her, would know that he is gentleness and kindness personified in public. She tells us

I can assure you he is even kinder behind closed doors. It can be mildly infuriating, especially when I am feeling impatient or entitled. {2019 – Our Year of Kindness}

When looking at a person his or her “kindness” we can notice  this in the reflection of the way a person acts and reacts. Often kindness shows up before we have to ask for something.

I feel loved with acts of service. Knowing this he cleans every week till the house shines. Even when I am home from work, or on holidays. He does it as though it is his sole joy. He always takes the clothes out of the dryer and off the line and folds them as I also hate this job. These small things mean the world to me. {2019 – Our Year of Kindness}

And perhaps it is in the many small things that we can discover the pure and real love and kindness. It might be difficult to describe or define, yet kindness is easy to recognise in people around us.

If we all think about kindness a person in our lives will always spring to mind as someone who is innately kind. {2019 – Our Year of Kindness}

Kindness is an underrated quality that Mrs. Greenwood is seeking after in her life.

Before we can be kind to others we should be kind to ourselves. To do so we also have to know ourself and love ourself. Practice ‘Kindness’ to yourself is an essential part for making a good life for yourself but also for the others around you. As such a person has to learn to be kind for when he or she feels tired or sad, give himself or herself permission to stop to feel that there are others who care about him or her. Most important is it when the person comes to see how we have a much Greater Being that cares for us. It is when we start feeling and knowing that we have a  heavenly Father Who knows our heart and Who is close to the broken hearted and loves to comfort us in our grief. {Kindness In 2019 – Continued}

Christine Greenwood promises

I am going to practice Kindness and release myself from a drive to provide for our family and know that God is our provider and I need not strive for with the motivation of financial resource but rather the Kingdom and let God in his Kindness be our Provider.

I will practice Kindness to myself in everything I do, I refuse to compare myself to others. For I am unique and nobody can do what I can do. {Kindness In 2019 – Continued}

We should remember to

Practice Kindness and do not force yourself to do anything that you do not enjoy or that you cannot maintain. Find something that you love to do. That you would do for Fun. Whether it is walking, dancing, running or surfing and make time to do it. For it is being Kind to yourself.  {Kindness In 2019 – Continued}

Big problem in our society of social media is that lots of people want to shine in front of others and dare not to show their real “me”. Many people let their expectations about you known by presenting themselves better than they are or by pushing you should also have this or that, or wear this or that.

Practice Kindness to your body by giving your body permission to be whatever it decides to be and celebrate it. No one else cares about the muffin top over your jeans more than you. No one notices it. You are glorious.

Practice Kindness and wear what makes you feel beautiful and comfortable at the same time. Who cares about what the latest trend is. You dance to the beat of your own drum. No need to conform to anyone around you. Find your own style and flaunt it!   {Kindness In 2019 – Continued}

In all this, what surrounds us, we should place ourself as we want to be ourself. We also should remember that kindness is our greatest commodity and is life changing. Though it’s definition may be hard to profess.

Kindness is in the small things {Kindness – Our Greatest Commodity – A Poem}

Kindness is the outworking of the love one has for an other. It is taking time for the other and showing gratitude. Kindness also shows when a person is willing to show his dedication to the other and willingness for doing the unexpected things to help others or to be there for others, showing the agape love.

Kindness shows also by the way a person communicates with the other and by the way he or she chooses words and speaks with patience and love.

The best way to bring and show kindness is to give out kindness and friendship without expecting something in return. It starts by showing respect, compassion, positivity, and love. Kindness can come around when we treat everyone as we would like to be treated ourselves.

“I do not believe that sheer suffering teaches.
If suffering alone taught, all the world would be wise,
since everyone suffers.
To suffering must be added mourning, understanding, patience,
love, openness and the willingness to remain vulnerable.”

O God, How Long? ~ Psalm 74

In this godless world there are also people who think they think they can ask their god or gods for things to happen. There are also people who call themselves ‘Christian‘ and wonder why God does not answer their prayers, though they do not see they have not taken them the right God of gods but pray to a man made god, a god son, and to people they call saints. Though the Elohim Hashem Jehovah is very clear that we should only have and worship the One True God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Jesus and his disciples, Who is an eternal Spirit God and not a fleshy god.

If you feel as though God is not watching or that He does not care you are perhaps better to search your heart, to see if you are really worshipping the right god, and not for example Jesus or any other human being or idols.

Today we can find lots of people who make a mockery of the God of Israel, also not willing to see the Biblical Truth. They most often see the false teachings of human ‘spiritual’ leaders or theologians, be it from Islamic or Christian groups, who destroy everything on their path, leaving nothing but pain and misery in their wake.

More people should follow Asaph his example, coming to look up at the real Only One True God, Jehovah the Elohim Hashem Divine Creator, and to cry out to that God of the universe, the Maker of heaven and earth, summer and winter. We all should know that it is That eternal God Who is prepared to be our rock and refuge, to defend Himself and those who really love Him and worship Him alone, that no matter what the enemy would love to do. They shall always come to know that This One True God is always the Most Mightiest god of all.

– Note: a pity the guest-writer of today, who calls herself a Born-again believer in Christ, wife, mother, teacher, artist, poet, blogger, pianist, singer, telling us she has praised God with her music ever since 1980, makes a strange twist at the end of the article, writing

“Then boldly make your requests known to Him, praising His name and trusting Him for the answer in His time.”

as if she thinks Jesus is God, and as such is forgetting that Jesus is the son of God and the Way to God.
But all the rest of the article, when you keep that only One God Who is One, in your mind is a worthy collection of words to remind people of that greatness of the Most High and how in the ancient times people looked up at Him.

*

To remember

  • Asaph felt lonely + alone > God silent => remembered days of old + God redeemed Israel from out of the hand of the enemy in Egypt, + brought them to Canaan, +gave them land for an inheritance, + established His name in their midst.
  • enemy had attempted to wipe out religion of Israelites by destroying their places of worship > temple + synagogue destroyed by the enemy
  • we can trust Jehovah God to know when enough is enough <=  God = never early, never late; always right on time, not limited by our calendar or clock.
  • God’s purposes are ever so much bigger than anything we can imagine.
  • Asaph did not ask God to defend His people, but His own holy and righteous name => to be preserved holy and blameless in the eyes of the enemy.
  • Asaph wanted deliverance, not for his own sake, or for the sake of his countrymen =  for the testimony of the God of mercy and grace.
  • not forget that God = still in control in affairs of men.
  • elements of Asaph’s prayer in psalm 74 should be present in all of our prayers
  • our guest writer compares Psalm 74 to the Model Prayer as recorded in Matthew 6:9-13.
  • When you pray > do not be afraid to let God know how you feel <= He already knows anyway
  • When you pray > Praise Him for who He is + for His will to be done, + for provision + forgiveness, deliverance

The Abundant Heart

sunset-over-lake God rules the day and the night, and He can be trusted with the details of my life too.

Does it seem as though this world could not get any more debauched than it is already? Do you feel as though God is not watching? that He does not care? I can assure you that He is, and He does. But perhaps He is waiting for His people to cry out to Him in humble prayer.

Asaph felt the same way. The enemy was having a heyday, making a mockery of the God of Israel and destroying everything in their path, leaving nothing but pain and misery in their wake. Asaph did the one thing he could do—he cried out to the God of the universe, the Maker of heaven and earth, summer and winter, to defend Himself in the presence of the enemy.

Today we give the word to a rabbi of a small, vibrant, Conservative, congregation in Grand Rapids, MI., whose blog purpose is to explore what it means to make our lives embody Torah.

.

At our previous posting concerning the preparation of 14 Nisan and shedding light on the seven basic qualities we should work on, we may not forget that to reach our goal we also shall need to be patient and when we would light the seventh candle we shall have to think about the humble person who cultivates love and respect.

.

Sometimes it may look so difficult to stand strong in this world where there are not many lovers of God. In that world we should always make sure we act like an example worthy of God. Even when others may think we are fools and weak, let us be assured that our faith in build on hope and trust in the Only One Who gives peace and that what we need.

“The humble shall inherit the earth.” (37:11)

In the short run, the kind of assertiveness that edges towards arrogance gets results, but one can get the same results from being confidently humble. An example: An arrogant person will push his way to the front of a group of people to get what he wants before someone else who has been waiting longer. A confidently humble person will recognize those who have been waiting and let them go first and insert himself into the queue in the proper order. The arrogant person cultivates resentment and fear; the humble person cultivates love and respect.

Patience is also a form of action

Waiting is definitely a test. It tests our patience and our loyalty. It tests our love and our mercy. Waiting is not for the weak. (Lee Young)

I consider myself a patient person but waiting on God changed me forever. Waiting chiseled at my rough edges. It revealed to me my true character. It accentuated the distance between God and me.

I find it hard to deal with God’s silences. I want quick solutions to difficult problems and God’s timeline hardly ever aligns with mine.

Wait. Be patient. Why is it so easy to say, but so hard to do?

When I look back on the seasons of my life, I must admit that I act differently during the times of testing. My conversations with God often fill up with frustration and anger and it is difficult to keep impatience from spilling into my spiritual life. These are the times…

Gone are the days…

From an Indian self taught artist with engineering background, who worked as an executive in the field of QA. Anil has a word and a photo blog where we can find very beautiful pictures.

Anil C Mandal

Lately, Anil C Mandal may have found the passion for travel and love for nature having induced another passion in him which is photography. Travel destinations and nature’s abundant beauties fascinate and inspire him to capture those beauties.  We recommend to have a look at Nature & Travel Pix (to find some of the 279 articles in the category Nature) The category “art” delivers also some very beautiful photographs and interesting articles to read. But at Anil’s Blog he presents his quotes & thoughts, where he perhaps may think , like us, of the happiness which is not something ready made, but which comes from our own actions. {Dalai Lama on happiness} Knowing that what you think, say and do have to come in harmony with each other to retrieve full happiness. {Mahatma Gandhi on happiness}.

But with Anil’ thoughts and photographs we can already have some taste of some happiness, without having to go to the City of joy.

Late-middle-aged bearded man in Grey robes sitting on a chair looks to the right with serene composure.

Ravīndranātha Thākura = Rabindranath Tagore one of the greatest bards and poet

Besides calling it “City of Joy” Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is also known as the city of Rabindranath Tagore, city of Satyajit Ray, city of Mother Teresa, city of intellectuals, city of football, city of procession, city of political movements, city of Bundhs (strike) , city of arts and culture (cultural capital of India), city of festivals and at last but not the least it is also known as city of best sweets and cuisine. Kolkata is the Capital of the Indian state of “West Bengal”. It is the 4th largest city in India. {City of joy}

Stories might be very different, though good writing goes for all over the world. Patience, want to give honest love, so much may belong to the past, to days gone.

Welcoming writing that can help to heal, to grow and to learn about ourself

In this world often people have to go to struggles and sometimes have to undergo big chocks to be placed in the reality of this life and to see and take an other crossroads.

For the founder of this lifestyle magazine it took two near death experiences before he at last came to concentrate even more on the more important spiritual matters of life. A parallelisation brought him to have enough time, lying flat on his back, having to be fed, he had enough time to once more in his life examine the Bible, his life, the way and the reasons of life.

Sometimes our whole life, our whole world has to fall apart before we come to change certain things in our life and come to know ourselves even better. Sometimes we also do have to go deep, but come to remember that joy more than once hid herself. How far and hard we do sometimes have to search to find her. {versplinterde drome}

Perhaps you too like Marcus Ampe and Liza Borstlap have to find ways to handle suffering. Though for the founder of this blog, he knew God already a long time and wanted to give the Divine Creator service already from early in his life, he also had to do a job to earn his living. He too had to make the best of his worldly life. Very often he was ‘put to the test’ and had to conquer many difficulties. That way he came to discover a greater desire for God.
Our newly joined writer also knows

Then everything, both good and bad, becomes redemptive. It moves us toward the God we desire.

and advices us

Enter your thirst. Feel your ache, the very worst ache that throbs in your soul. Face how you harm others, your spouse, your children, your friends. And face your disappointment with them. {versplinterde drome}

Life, Love & Pain

Life, Love & Pain (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Too often we are becoming blinded by the pains and difficulties we our encountering.

Danger  is that we too often let ourselves being carried away from the right track, because of our difficulties and pain.

says Marcus Ampe, whilst our fresh new author would add

When dreams shatter and pain is blinding, we’re prevented from moving ahead in our own light. {versplinterde drome}

she learned

that an awareness of inadequacy is neither a curse to lift nor a disorder to cure. It is a gift to be received, a gift that if properly used can make me powerful and strong and clear and wise. {versplinterde drome}

Our new author at her blog gives much of herself away. So if you would like to know her better, get to read her interesting blog “Heart prints”. At it she shows how she learned a lot in 2002 about the grace and wisdom of God. She learned about herself and saw with her own eyes how terrible things happened to her, but also how those turned later to make it to her advantage.

She also knows that there is an endurance that is too far for her to attain. Like the founder of this blog is aware we often need such battles in our life to end up in situations which make life worth living and give ourself a good reason to be here.

We do have to be kneaded and modelled, by time and many circumstances, having to build patience and endurance, to make life for something, and for not to loss a lot of qualities.

Rampton Parish Church Millennium Banner Displayed alongside the hymn board, it depicts (1) The Glory of the Lord appearing in the Cloud (Exod. 16:10); (2) The Fire of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Acts 2:3); (3) The Tree of Life (Rev. 22:2); (4) Rampton Parish Church; (5) Man tills the soil (Gen. 3:23); (6) God so loved the world (Jn. 3:16); (7) The Tree of Knowledge (Gen. 2:16); (8) The Old and the New Covenant (Song of Songs 2:4); (9) The Advent Candle (Jn. 1:9) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

The process of cutting away the ‘dead wood’ or nasty smudges may be a painful process, but by working and trying hard we may come to reach a goal worth looking at.

When we dared to look at the new author her blog to see what she wrote in her diary we found that

It sometimes feels like I’m standing on the shore and see people struggling in the waves.
People that I cared, “shared a life.
I can not help anyone, I do not have the ability.
But I hope that they will be tired of the nonsense and trivialities, that something will happen so they can experience the peace of God. {hardepad – Stukkies uit my dagboek 2002 ~ 2012}

That is also why we welcome her greatly and do hope she, like other authors on this blog, can share their hopes in God and in their fellow man. People coming along here willing to look at our blessings and the good things of life. Seeing themselves as miniscule elements always remembering how pointless a life without God is and how void. Knowing that when we find God and are willing to share His Grace we not only have to be so grateful for the peace here on the shore, in the fields and in the woods.

On this blog, many of the writers with her, have their heart going out to the man who had to endure so much. In the knowledge there is still so much to do, she with us want to bring thoughts, answers, and hopefully some clue of hope.

Where a massive amount of doors slam in my face.
Where roads immediately ends.
Here where all plans go wrong …
Where thoughts and words fail finally … {hardepad – Stukkies uit my dagboek 2002 ~ 2012}

We are happy she is willing to share thoughts of hope and wants to look with us at her, our and others their life and look at options we may have.

With utter despair?
Or with joy for the gift pack coming?

Processed with Rookie Cam

We do hope we all shall enjoy the words shared here and giving us fresh air, opening windows also to other writers, photographers, nice pictures and texts which can enlighten us and inspire us.

We would advice our and her readers to go with her and other presented authors here, looking at it when

All seems possible and feel now.
Today.
To breathe.
Arms open, lifting your head and going to meet the light.

This new author has felt, like many of us, emotional pressure, time constraints, and work-related issues that needed all her focus and attention.  She tried to hide the stress and realised that her  turmoil was visible.

Everyone could read it on my face.  The pressure was so immense that it felt as if I was captured in a boiler, and that the all-consuming fire below me brought the boiler to boiling point.

she writes in “As I unclutter my life, I free myself to answer the callings of my soul“.

As internal war can rage in ourselves, we can use some voices and reactions form others to get us free from our trapped, irritated self.

Our suitcases are filled with all kinds of dead weight: habits we need to give up, attitudes we’ve long since outgrown, and activities and possessions that no longer serve a reasonable purpose. (Nancy Twigg)

It is nice she now comes to open her suitcases here and is, like some other contributors here, willing to unpack her treasures of ‘findings’, her ‘gemstones’.
Like Mr. Ampe she also had to push the reset button to remind herself of her personal values.

The discord comes when I forget about my own values, and start living out other people’s values.  I subconsciously make other people’s priorities my own.  For me, the result is stress and misery. {As I unclutter my life, I free myself to answer the callings of my soul}

We are convinced just by willing to share experiences, by opening up to others, willing to show our weaknesses, but also our strengths, and showing others Who gives us the strength to face this difficult life, that lots of our stress and difficulties may also melt as butter in the sun.

By falling and getting up again we come to see, that no matter what happens in life, always there is  a wonderful dream available.

That if pursued will generate an unfamiliar, radically new internal experience. That experience, strange at first, will eventually be recognised as joy. {versplinterde drome}

You will see, sharing the dream is a nice experience, enriching us all and giving hope to more people.

Christians remaining hidden not sharing the gospel

Witness well Net knows that we are not human beings who like to come in the open easily. It says

we have a tendency to remain hidden and not share the gospel. {How pre-judging others has a serious effect on evangelism}

Some of us want to be so much like God and cast judgement on a person’s receptivity toward the message of salvation that they forget the love message.

Placing a gag over our mouth that keeps us from proclaiming His name rather than allow His Words to overflow from our hearts can be a result of pre-judging the condition of a person’s soil. {How pre-judging others has a serious effect on evangelism}

Talking about a saving relationship with ChristDave Malnes from the website Witness well tells us that we should trust his promises that our righteousness is secure because of his faithfulness – not our own; his obedience and not our own; his trustworthiness and not our own. {How evangelism rests on trust and what you possess}

He writes that

Evangelism

Evangelism (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

World religions attempt to search within to find true meaning and purpose. The object of their faith is themselves. Biblical Christians trust squarely on Jesus promises as the object of their faith. Peace and joy is not something that is self-generated, but Spirit-filled. {How evangelism rests on trust and what you possess}

Though we do find still  too many Christians counting too much on worldly arrangements and governments. Also a lot of Christians do not know their Bible. Some of them know perhaps several phrases from the New Testament, but do not see the whole picture.

The same about one of the tasks Jesus has given and as such has to be one of the many works of faith we do have to do. We do have to become one in Christ, like Christ is one with his heavenly Father. In case we would think like trinitarians, that would mean they have to become like God and some of them consider themselves to be like Christ, to be God.

The Elohim, who has sent His only begotten son to this world, commissions believers in Christ to sow the seeds of the gospel and to become humble like Jesus humbled himself. By embracing this role, Christians find joy and peace in encouraging and equipping others with the faith in Christ and in Only One true God (the heavenly Father of Jesus).

When we call ourselves Christian we should show others that we are willing to become like Christ and like him have faithfully responded God’s call to sow the seeds of the gospel and trusting God His promise that the harvest may be plentiful.

4 days of Evangelism Training in Southern California provided by LivingWaters Ministry. Obeying the great commission of Jesus Christ. “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone” Mark 16:15 (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Full enjoyment and trust we should bear the Good News in our mind and be of full courage to share the message of encouragement and uplifted spirit of rejoicing being presented to us by the acts of the apostles. Their work must have been an amazing experience, but is not finished yet. We do have to continue the work of the apostles and those first Christians.

Followers of Christ should be giving themselves totally to Jesus, willing to become in Christ Jesus, a part of a bigger picture as partakers of the Body of Christ, being those who have been set apart as God’s children through God’s grace.

It is by grace, God’s undeserved love that makes us Christians. No wonder we can rejoice through any circumstance that comes our way when we can be assured of our status before God, not by what we have done or what we are doing, but what God has already done for us. {An appropriate benediction}

We should be so tankful for Jesus proving to us that man is able to put his own will aside for doing God’s Will, and giving himself for atonement, paying the ransom prize for the sins we did.

For this liberation we can have joy which comes from trusting God’s promises that we will receive liberation from the curse of the Fall and that Jesus restored the relationship between God and man and has received authority to be the mediator between God and man and the judge at the end times, where it is him who shall decide who shall be able to enter the Kingdom of God.

An evangelist fully trusts God’s promises associated with being His messenger. Sharing the message of the gospel is not about us, but proclaiming the power of the message. In Christ, we conquer fear, worry, and guilt. By remaining in Christ, we bear fruits of the Spirit that reflects the light of Christ and introduces His presence to the world. {How evangelism rests on trust and what you possess}

The Bible teaches that God “gave” to certain people the gift of evangelism to build up the church (Eph. 4:11). We marvel and rejoice at these gifts as one who has the gift of music. Most believers like myself do not have the gift of evangelism, but we are not excused from the work of evangelism (2 Tim. 4:5). God commissions all believers to go, teach, and baptize (Matthew 28:19-20). {Twelve Things Successful Evangelists Do}

Dave Malnes believes these are twelve things that successful evangelists do:

Love Successful evangelists speak the truth that is prompted by love and concern for the soul.

Joy Evangelists reflect the gospel light in their own lives that attracts unbelievers.

Peace   Evangelists find their identity in Christ that washes away guilt.

Patience Evangelists understands the fruit of patience ripens into persistence by keeping God’s timetable and not our own.

Kindness Evangelists sacrifice acts of kindness and generosity with no strings attached.

Self-control Evangelists resist the need to win the argument and focus on winning the soul.

Goodness Evangelists consistently extend grace to those who are least deserving.

Gentleness Evangelists express humility and give all credit and glory to God.

Pray continually Evangelists give thanks in all circumstances and reflects this pattern in an ongoing prayer life.

Perseverance Evangelists never, never, never give up.

Faithfulness Evangelists rely on God’s faithfulness to renew their own faithfulness by regularly reading, studying, and praying over God’s Word. {Twelve Things Successful Evangelists Do}

We have to set our mind on Christ Jesus and nurture our and others their need for a goal, a focus, instructions, and a hero. When we are afraid to tell others about our faith we do need to conquer our fear with our faith. We also should remember that “Everything God has made is an assignment”. In the knowledge that our future is the seed for the one we chose to honour we should be pleased, showing our joy in the Messiah. Our gratitude should be a seed for more. and we should not be afraid to sow seed wrapped with expectation and faith in the harvest.

When having become a Christian we have come into a covenant with Jesus that gives purpose and then we should follow his rules and given tasks, sowing our seed for a desired harvest.

The works we have to do according to James

“2  You must consider it the purest joy, my brothers, when you are involved in various trials, 3 for you surely know that what is genuine in your faith produces the patient mind that endures; 4 but you must let your endurance come to its perfect product, so that you may be fully developed and perfectly equipped, without any defects.
5 But if any one of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask God who generously gives to everyone and never reproaches one with its lack, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith, without a doubt, for the man who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is whirled and swayed by the wind. 7 Such a man, indeed, 8 a person with two minds, unreliable in every step he takes, (1:7A) must not expect to get anything from the Lord.

9 Let the poor brother of lowly station rejoice in his exalted station as a Christian, 10 and the rich brother rejoice in his being on a level with the poor, because the rich will fade away like the flower of the grass.” (James 1:2-10 Williams)

“12 Blessed is the person who endures trial, for when he stands the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.

13  No one must say, when he is tempted to do evil, “I have a temptation from God to do evil,” for God cannot be tempted to do evil, and He never tempts anyone to do so. 14 But anyone is tempted to do evil when he is allured by his own evil desire and enticed by a bait. 15 Then evil desire conceives and gives birth to sin, and when sin is completed, it brings forth death.” (James 1:12-15 Williams)

“19  You must understand this, my dearly loved brothers. Everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to get angry; 20 for a man’s anger does not produce the uprightness that God requires.
21 So strip yourselves of everything impure and all the evils prevailing around you, and in humble spirit welcome the message which when rooted in your hearts is able to save your souls.

22 Keep on obeying this message; do not merely listen to it, and so deceive yourselves. 23 Because if anyone merely listens to the message without obeying it, he is like a man who looks in a mirror at his own face, 24 for he looks and then goes off and at once forgets how he looked. 25 But the man who looks at the flawless law that makes men free, and keeps on looking, proving himself to be, not a forgetful hearer but an actual doer of what it requires, will be blessed in what he does.

26 If anyone thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue, but deceives himself, his religious worship is worthless. 27 A religious worship that is pure and stainless in the sight of God the Father is this: To look after orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep one’s own self unstained by the world.” (James 1:19-27 Williams)

“1  My brothers, stop trying to maintain your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious presence of God on earth, along with acts of partiality to certain ones. 2 For if a man with a gold ring, dressed in fine clothes, comes to your meeting, and at the same time a poor man clad in dirty clothes, 3 and you pay special attention to the man who wears the fine clothes, and say to him, “Sit here in this fine place,” and say to the poor man, “Stand up, or sit there on the floor at my feet,” 4 do you not make improper distinctions among yourselves and prove to be critics with evil motives?” (James 2:1-4 Williams)

“8  But if you really observe the law of the King in accordance with the Scripture, “You must love your neighbor as you do yourself,” you are doing right; 9 but if you show partiality, you are committing sin, because you are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.
10 For whoever obeys the whole law, except to slip in a single instance, is guilty of breaking it all.

11 For He who said, “You must not commit adultery,” also said, “You must not commit murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery but you do commit murder, you are just the same as a lawbreaker.

12 You must continue talking and acting like people who are to be judged by the law that treats them as free. 13 For merciless judgment will be the portion of the merciless man; yet mercy will triumph over judgment.

14  My brothers, what good is there in a man’s saying that he has faith, if he has no good deeds to prove it? Such faith cannot save him, can it?

15 If some brother or sister is thinly clad and has no food for the day, 16 and one of you says to him, “Blessings on you, keep warm, eat until you have a plenty,” without giving him the things that are needed for the body, what good does it do?

17 So faith by itself, if it has no deeds to back it up, is dead. 18 But someone may say, “You have faith, and I have good deeds. Show me your faith without any good deeds, but I will show you mine by my good deeds.”

19 Do you believe in one God? Very well; the demons, too, believe that, and shudder. 20 But, O senseless man, are you willing to learn that faith without good deeds is worthless?

21 Was not our forefather Abraham shown to be upright by his good deeds, namely, by offering Isaac his son upon the altar?

22 You see that faith co-operated with his good deeds, and by his good deeds faith was made complete; 23 and so the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham put his faith in God, and it was credited to him for uprightness, and he was called God’s friend.”

24 You see that a man is shown to be upright by his good deeds, and not merely by his faith.

25 Was not even Rahab the prostitute shown to be upright by her good deeds, namely, by entertaining the scouts and sending them off by a different road? 26 Just as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without good deeds is dead.” (James 2:8-26 Williams)

“13  Who among you is wise and intelligent? Let him show by his noble living that his good deeds are done in humility, which wisdom prompts. 14 But if you cherish bitter jealousy and rivalry in your hearts, stop being proud of it and stop being false to the standard of truth. 15 This is not the kind of wisdom that comes down from above; no, it is earthly, human, demoniacal. 16 For wherever jealousy and rivalry exist, there will be confusion and all sorts of evil practices. 17 The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of compassion and good deeds, free from doubts and insincerity. 18 The harvest of uprightness is grown from the seed of peace by those who are peacemakers.” (James 3:13-18 Williams)

“1  What causes wars and quarrels among you? Is it not your different desires which are ever at war within your bodies?
You desire things and cannot have them, and so you commit murder. 2 You covet things, but cannot acquire them, and so you quarrel and fight. You do not have them, because you do not ask for them. 3 You ask and fail to get them, because you ask with evil, selfish motives, to spend them on your pleasures.

4 You faithless wives! Do you not know that the friendship of the world means enmity with God? So whoever wants to be a friend to the world puts himself down as an enemy to God. 5 Or, do you think that the Scripture means nothing when it says, “He jealously yearns for the Spirit that He causes to dwell in your hearts”? 6 But He gives a greater spiritual blessing. He says, “God opposes haughty people but blesses humble people.”

7 So then, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will fly from you.

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Get your hands clean, you sinners. Get your hearts purified, you double-minded. 9 Be miserable, mourn, and weep aloud. Let your laughter be turned to grief and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you high.

11  Stop talking against one another, brothers. Whoever is in the habit of talking against a brother or of criticizing his brother is criticizing and condemning the law. But if you are in the habit of criticizing the law, you are not a practicer but a critic of the law.
12 There is but one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who has the power to save and to destroy; then who are you that you presume to judge your brother?” (James 4:1-12 Williams)

“7 So be patient, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer keeps on waiting and waiting for the precious crop from his land; how he keeps up his patience over it until he gets the early and the late rains.
8 You must be patient, too; you must put iron into your hearts, because the coming of the Lord is close it hand. 9 Stop muttering against one another, brothers, so as to keep from being judged yourselves.
Look! The Judge is standing at the very door. 10 As an example of ill-treatment and patience, brothers, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord.” (James 5:7-10 Williams)

“12  Above all, my brothers, stop swearing, either by heaven or by the earth, or by anything else. Let your “Yes” mean Yes, and your “No,” No, so as to keep from falling under condemnation.

13 Is any one of you suffering ill-treatment? He should keep on praying. Is anyone in a happy mood? He should keep on singing praise to God.

14 Is anyone sick among you? He should call in the elders of the church, and they should pray over him, and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord, 15 and the prayer that is offered in faith will save the sick man; the Lord will raise him to health, and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

16 So practice confessing your sins to one another, and praying for one another, that you may be cured. An upright man’s prayer, when it keeps at work, is very powerful.” (James 5:12-16 Williams)

“19 My brothers, if any one of you has wandered away from the truth, and someone brings him back, 20 you may be sure that whoever brings a sinner back from his evil ways will save the man’s soul from death, and cover up a multitude of sins.” (James 5:19-20 Williams)

Leaven

Patience in life is something difficult to master. Mastering what we see might look easier but often we let our eyes wandering to far away in our fantasy world. today too many want to make their fantasies felt and to be tried out in reality. Without screpules they use a person of the other sex or even of the same sex as a sex-object, an instrument to satisfy their own lusts.
A Christian is different against those who we may see around everyday boasting of their sexual adventurous, by not being of this world, choosing to live a pure life of pure love, where sex is only part of but not the main meal.

Everywhere around us we can see sexual misconduct and on the television screen such sexual conduct and having more than one partner, no matter what sex, is presented as something quite normal.

We should make the right choice and go for a proper relationship respecting the other. Once chosen for a sincere inner connection we should not look any more to find other intimate relations. Today we do find too many who like to flirt with the idea of searching for again an other partner.

Once the line is crossed, sin seems to almost have a power of its own, which drives us. If you have started investing in a relationship with someone who is not your spouse, or begun looking at things that you shouldn’t, or become physical with your boyfriend, girlfriend, or fiancé; it is time to Stop!

1 Corinthians 5:1

“It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles—that a man has his father’s wife!”

God designed sexual intimacy as part of the marriage relationship. It is the most intimate of all acts and plays an important role in the love relationship between man and wife. In the book of Hebrews we are told, “Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled.” (Hebrews 13:4)

However, like so much of what God designed, men have distorted sex into sin. Today, a person that waits until marriage to be sexually active is ridiculed, women are treated as something to be conquered, and men revel in their vast number of sexual partners. Pornography is a multi-billion dollar enterprise, and with the advances in technology, is available at the touch of a button.

Time Has A Way Of Healing

Human beings are often not patient enough and do not want to give enough time to heal their body and their soul.

In case we would be willing to use the ‘cover of time‘ and the ‘cover of love‘ and understanding we would not have to worry such a long time about arguments we had and words which crossed our paths. Instead of being annoyed such a long time about arguments we had or heavy discussions, we should use the time to think about it and use meditation-time to give us some answers to heal the psychological wounds.

Often it is by lack of love for the other that so many bridges stay blown up and roads do not get repaired. To forgive is for many so difficult that they even can not cope with the thought of it. They should know it is a sort of weakness when you are not able to forgive and not able to swoop the sponge over the arguments you had.

Let us go for the better. We do not have to forget, but we should prefer to leave it as a thing in the past which we would preferred not to have happened. so why to stand still so long by it? Continue your way and reach out to the other in loving-kindness. Show the other you are strong enough to stand up again and to continue your way with him to better pastures.

With our mind we can do much more than we think. Everything is in the mind. and we should know that we do have received our minds to get to know the wonders of the world and to come to a good relationship with everything of the creation. For being able to come to a good relationship we do have to open our minds to the positive things of this life and should mend as we may need help from friends or well intentioned professionals.
“Let love and healing conquer for all of humanity”

And let us not forget:

He who cannot forgive breaks the bridge over which he himself must pass

  • Living Mindfully for a Healthy Body, Mind, and Heart (goodtherapy.org)
    If this were your last day on earth, how would you spend it? Would you spend it inside an office or with your loved ones? While this may seem like a drastic question, I believe it helps us put things in perspective. Instead of living from a reactive stance where we’re putting out fires, obsessing over the future, or striving to do more, we pause and shift into the present moment. As we connect to body, mind, and heart, we open to our moment-to-moment experience in a nonjudgmental manner. This pausing to intentionally connect with the present moment can be challenging, but it’s an important step toward restoring balance between body, mind, and emotions.

    Forgiveness does not mean the instant restoration of trust. Forgiveness is instant. Trust must be rebuilt over time. Forgiveness is based on grace. Trust is built on works. You earn trust. You don’t earn forgiveness.

    Forgiving a person does not mean you have to trust them. It means they have to earn the trust.

    Restoration of a relationship takes far more than forgiveness. It takes repentance. It takes restitution and a rebuilding of trust. And it often takes a much longer time.

Moving forward

Part of love is the preparedness not only to accept the differences in an other person, but also to bear the deficiencies of the other. Love conquers the iniquities of an other person. It is not becoming blind for the other his or her shortcomings, but the love to overlook it and not to become angry for that what you would not have expected. Letting loose so often of that what disturbed or did hurt for a moment, remembering that we are weak humans but others may also be weak.

The greatness in love is to see how the differences in each other can complement each other and enrich life of both, creating patience and endurance, giving each other time to remember with a smile on the face.

    With respect to its degrees, patience can be divided into six categories: showing patience for the sake of Allah; showing patience and attributing it to Allah (being convinced that Allah enables one to show patience); enduring patiently whatever comes from Allah, knowing that He acts from His Wisdom; being resigned to whatever happens in the way of Allah; showing patience by not disclosing the mysteries of one’s achieved spiritual station and to preserve one’s nearness to Allah; and resolving to fulfill one’s mission of communicating Allah’s Message to people despite one’s deepest desire to die and meet with Allah.

Behold He hath been exalted above the Heavens, God, and behold above all the earth the Glory of the Same: the kingdom of Christ we see, where is the kingdom of the Jews? Since therefore they did that which to have done they ought not, there hath been done in their case that which to have suffered they ought: themselves have dug a ditch, and themselves have fallen into it. For their persecuting Christ, to Christ did no hurt, but to themselves did hurt. And do not suppose, brethren, that themselves alone hath this befallen. We call it a character reference.What do we really focus on today? We focus on personality. Is he outgoing enough? Is she fun?

    But what about our character? Why is it that in any field, we read and hear reports of ‘warm, intelligent, out-going, and fun’ people losing their jobs because they stole money, lied about an assignment, or had an affair?

“You can’t expect love to be perfect when people aren’t..”

No matter how good someone is, they’re going to hurt you every once in a while, and you must forgive them for that.

A Story of the Soldier and a Spider

Many times we look for solutions in the wrong directions. Often we have an idea of difficult solutions when they could be so simple, and there lying in front of us, without us noticing them. At moments we also can loose trust in the Higher Being because it looks as if we do not get the answer to our question right away. When we look at it, after we needed some patience, we shall see that the Most High always provides the best answer in our, but mainly also in His interest, and at His time.

We should trust Him more and give our live in His hands instead of directing it so much ourselves.

To remember

Scrambling for cover > crawled inside one of the caves.

After praying … he thought, “Well, I guess the Lord isn’t going to help me out of this one.”

“what I need is a brick wall and what the Lord has sent me is a spider web. God does have a sense of humor.”

“I had forgotten that in you a spider’s web is stronger than a brick wall.”

Facing times of great trouble it is so easy to forget the victories that God would work in our lives, sometimes in the most surprising ways.

“In God we will have success!” [Nehemiah 2:20]

With God, a mere spider’s web can become a brick wall of protection. Trust and believe that He is with you always. Just ask for his help and you will see His great power and love for you.

During World War II, a US Marine was separated from his unit on a Pacific island. The fighting had been intense, and in the smoke and the crossfire, he had lost touch with his comrades.

Alone in the jungle, he could hear enemy soldiers coming in his direction. Scrambling for cover, he found his way up a high ridge to several small caves in the rock. Although safe for the moment, he realized that once the enemy soldiers looking for him swept up the ridge, they would quickly search all the caves and he would be killed. As he waited, he prayed, “Lord, if it be your will, please protect me. Whatever your will though, I love you and trust you. Amen.”

After praying, he lay quietly listening to the enemy begin to draw close. He…

Getting fate in your change to positiveness

From all the previous writings on the subject of getting over bad thoughts and feeling depressed, coming to more positiveness in our lives, we could see the importance of the influence of circumstances and other persons in our life.

The Mind of Evil

The Mind of Evil (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

We should be aware that bad people can influence us very negatively and can bring decay in our life-world. Living in this world we shall more than once have to bite the bullet and have to see that we do not find a rotten apple which can spoil the whole barrel. every person in this world sends out some energy. This can be negative or positive energy. We best choose to have more contacts with those who send such positive energy.

Martina McGowan who tries to  help people transform their lives; some physically, many mentally, writes:

One of the best ways to achieve your goals is to surround yourself with positive people. The energy these people have to tap into never seems to let them down, and they are achieving the great goals in life that they desire and dream about.

Positive people can help you stay on track and energize you toward your own goals. Many times these successful people share the same goals that  you have and are happy to pass on their wisdom and their techniques. So how do you find these positive, like-minded people? {How to Surround Yourself with More Positive People}

In Attitude of Unstopable Success we and Anil Singh looked at some elements which can contribute for a common cause of humanism, like Purity, Peace, Power, Patience, Positivism and Perfection. Anil Singh likes to speak about F.A.C.E. as the index of our mind, which is not a bad idea.

In student’s perspective, FACE can be redefined as:
F- Focus… on what we want to do.
A- Awareness… of huge knowledge that may help us.
C- Concentration… on what we are getting.
E- Execution… of knowledge in the best possible way. {Check the fate of your FACE.}

We told you already a person first of all had to find the right focus, looking in him or her self and aiming for a goal. To be able to do this the person has to open his or her heart and listen to his or her inner soul. In case we would love to grow in a positive way we have to be willing to open our mind and hearth and to let streams of the world fertilise our ground. We should be prepared to listen to others their advice and to weigh the pros and cons. We should be willing to turn over many things more than once in our mind, avoiding we got stuck or glued on conservatism or chained to our past.

With the willingness to learn we should always try to have an open mind and be willing that nothing in this world is clearly “black and white”. We must accept all shades of colour. In that colourful world we should never want everything to turn around us, but on the other hand should reach out to others.

Reach out to people at your work, in your circle of friends, or even to people you don’t know well who seem to exemplify positivism. Ask them what it is that makes them continue to have such a positive outlook and persona while reaching their objectives. {How to Surround Yourself with More Positive People}

Opening ourselves to others does not implement that others should come to ‘eat us’ and ‘crush us’. those people who would love to break us, we best leave them soon at the side. they are not the right company for us. Life is too short to waste energy on such negative people who love to crush others.  Their attitude, the same as our attitude can make or break you.

It is virtually indisputable that your attitude determines how far you will go in life, and a positive mental outlook can help you achieve optimal success. {Your Attitude Is the Win!}

Life is too precious to let it ruined by others. do not give them a chance by being one line in front of them. Do not worry leaving them behind. But as we also warned, do not stay put. You do not have to give your place up, but you also should know you could also share places in this world where many thoughts could live next to each other. Respect all those around you and find ways to connect with them in a positive way. And those you do not think would fit in your cupboard, allow them to be there and tolerate them. Open your heart and network with good people showing to all your willingness to come forward.

Positive Mental Attitude 2012

Positive Mental Attitude 2012 (Photo credit: nme421)

Having a positive mental attitude helps you cope better with challenges. When you are put to the test, and you will be, you are much  more likely to find your inner strengths and overcome adversity. And that strength often rises from your winning attitude. Whether or not you believe that you have all of the right tools, skills, knowledge, or resources, your attitude can get you through the toughest of times and help you come out on top. {Your Attitude Is the Win!}

On the other hand, an attitude filled with negative overtones makes everything much harder to get through. You cannot win when you go into the contest if you go in with a mindset prepared to lose! If you expect to do well, your attitude will create positive, winning thoughts that will help you persevere. {Your Attitude Is the Win!}

Running the race does not have to be done on your own. It is much more fun to run with others. It also has not to be a race with a competition for life or death, in one way. We all should know we all shall end up in the same place. The sepulchre shall be waiting for us. One or the other day the light shall go out for us and for those around us; for each, on an other time. We should best always be ready. Prepared that in case the light-switch is turned over tomorrow we shall not have to regret we have not done something. When the moment come we should be able to say we are ready to face that death, and have not to fear for what we would have done wrong.
If death comes tomorrow, are you ready to face it?

Always make sure you are in the clear, having nothing to regret and without guilt.

No matter how discouraging things may get or how intently others may try to dissuade you, do not envy the others and always stay calm. Not let you be intimidated by those who have other goals in their life than yours. Do try to go for the most precious, but perhaps the goal where the least persons are interested in.

With your winning attitude firmly in place, you will be unstoppable.

A positive outlook helps you maintain your focus on your goals with a tunnel vision that eliminates many of the negative distractions and keeps you on a chartered course to success. {Your Attitude Is the Win!}

At the Lifestyle magazine Stepping Toes you might find different articles giving you advice to direct your goals and to find ways to make the best out of your life. There as here is given the advice to find the best goal for your life. There are the normal challenges offered to everyone in life, having to grow up, study, work, making a family, a.o., goals we are all presented. Those goals of the world change. At Stepping Toes and on this site you might find that there is also a better specific goal which does not change and is laid out in front of everybody in this world, but most people do not seem to see it. Though we do agree that that goal is also perhaps the most difficult one to reach, because we all do have to find the path to the very small gate. When we will be able to find it, we shall be able to see what the writer Isaiah saw already in a prophetic vision.

Before we shall be able to come to that gate we shall have to manage the play-field here in this world. Living in this universe we shall find many challenges which can enrich us but also which could be so dangerous, giving us an impression of being very luxurious, but making us more poor. Those challenges may bring us lots of material gain but make us spiritually empty.

We should build up our life looking for quotes and affirmations that better reflect our new path so that we can gain the inspiration to persevere in our new and right direction.

All the stress which may surround us we do have to put aside. Stress, tension and pressure are the negatives we should try to minimise in our lives. To do that we should be prepared to have a listening ear, a watchful eye, and a searching spirit, examining all things laid our in front of us. Prepared to continuously learning things we should be pleased we can go every day on a ‘challenge trip’ and enjoy every excursion life offers each day.

By recollecting the state of being, keeping an open mind willing to absorb knowledge, but what is very important at the same time having the willingness no only to learn but also to change, according the new knowledge is understood. Exercising the action plan we then should come to execute the mind power. {Check the fate of your FACE.}

Life may be like a ten-speed bike where we have to learn that suffering produces perseverance we should try to put aside our bad experiences and should try driving forward instead of backwards, trying to make our dreams with a plan whereby nothing can stop us to have the right mental attitude from achieving our goal. When we love and cultivate that which is pure and try to sow good seeds and harvests in the garden of our heart, we shall, when we try to nurture the goodness with patience, be able to succeed. But then there may be no bitterness in the heart.

We should not be afraid to fail, if we really try to do our best, because we should know that God doesn’t call the qualified and everybody receives a place in His heart. We do not have to fear human beings and should rest our delight on Jehovah, trying to find the inspiring divine spark by going to look for light and guidance in the Word of God, provided in the Holy Scriptures or the Bible. When we get up in the morning and pray for the Lord’s blessings he shall grant them.

When we do give ourselves in the hands of God and are willing to change ourselves, He shall mould us in a good shape like the best sculptor. For Him able to bring us in the good shape and coming to success in our life, we shall have to understand that such a change will demand an unending process, a continuous state and conditional approach that needs to be monitored at regular intervals for a greater change.

Time is the most powerful, dynamic and perfect change than any other change. It teaches us lot for a greater change in life. {Change for Gain….}

Anil Singh rightly says:

1. When we learn to change along with change, we survive.
2.When we do not change with change we die (fail).

The Supreme Being demands a change in our heart. to become successful in our life we do have to put away all the negative feelings, the ones we do have from our selves and the ones others try to impose on us. Getting older and wiser we normally should get more knowledge to change. In this world we do see that lots of people are afraid to change. Such fear is in a way ungrounded and build on distrust instead of on trust. therefore to be able to progress we not only do need the trust in ourselves, in our Maker, but in such situation we need more courage for change.

When we have learned the benefit of change but not changed, we need more education for change.
When we have experienced the change but not changed, we need more practice for change.
When we have suffered by change but not changed, we need more determination power for change. {Change for Gain….}

It is not bad to take in consideration what Mr. Singh writes further:

• People who will change before change will rule.
• People who will change after change will survive.
• People who will change with change will succeed.
• People who will cause the change will lead.
• People who will not change on change will fail. {Change for Gain….}

We do have to make the right choice if we would like to succeed in life. this will require regular change, a good attitude to change and a positive view in such change. Creating a positive view in ourselves we should not be afraid to have bigger dreams, and having greater ambitions.  We would have to like to climb higher on the ladder, not only with a greater belief in our selves, but also with a growing belief in the One Who can bring us much further than we would ever be able to do on our own.

Wanting to get some progressive change to positiveness our aim should be to look for the better, growing in knowledge, getting more wisdom by looking at the right places, willing to do more than we at the beginning would think we could do. Having the will to change and to commit our selves to that change, our commitment should be deeper, willing to go further than most people. Fro being able to reach our goal we should make our efforts wider and vigorous.

Anil Singh points out that those changes have to be made in our mind, for

If we can dream it we can do it,
If we can think it we can initiate it,
If we can visualize it we can create it,
If we can execute it we can complete it. {Change for Gain….}

to be able to dream we have to clear our mind of bad thought and frustration and liberate it so it can go on adventurous routes. We should allow ourselves to pounder around in a world where everything is possible.

If we can manage to do every thing with accuracy, attention, adjustment, belief, courage, cooperation, commitment, creativity, determination, devotion, discipline, egoless, emotional, enthusiasm, freedom, faith, forgiveness, greatness, hope, honesty, intimacy, intigrity, initiative, inspiration, justice, kindness, knowledgefull, leadership, lovefull, lawfull, learning, meaningfull, optimistic, openness, purity, peace, power, positivism, patience, perfection, quality, respect, responsible, simple, sensible, servicable, secrifice, truth, tolerance, temperament, unity, understanding, vision, values, willingness & attitude of gratitude then we can achieve highest level of success in life. {Our success in our hand}

In each of us, the Creato has implanted lots of possibilities; We do have to make them true. Being created in the likeness of God, we ourselves should allow ourselves to grow in that likeness, and allow ourselves to be changed by the Upper Hand of the Maker. then we are going to see that

Change is 100% possible by:
• Willingness to change,
• Courage to face the change,
• Determined mind to make change,
• Purity of thought power for a change.
• Continuously trying till change has occurred. {Change for Gain….}

Take on the good attitude from today onwards:

Make your mind up that from now on you are going to paint mental pictures of yourself that are successful and positive. Picture yourself as being successful in each task and mentally wipe out any thoughts of failure. You are the world’s number one product and you will become what you think. Have faith in yourself and believe that good is going to come your way. Don’t fill your head with discouragement; think of yourself as a strong loving, and helpful person who is in control. It will make it easier to sell yourself to others regardless of who you are trying to influence or for what purpose. Make peace with yourself and move forward to become a more complete person both at home at and your job. {Attitude spoken of by }

  • Positivism (aroojbhattiblog.wordpress.com)
    Positivism, or positive philosophy, is a philosophical doctrine that denies any validity to metaphysics or speculation. It is sometimes associated with empiricism because it maintains that there is no answer to metaphysical questions and that scientific knowledge is the only knowledge. The works of English philosopher Francis Bacon (1561-1626), Anglo-Irish philosopher George Berkeley (1685-1753), and Scottish philosopher David Hume (1711-1776) contain the basic tenets of positivism in an implicit form. However, the term is specifically applied to the system of French philosopher and social scientist Auguste Comte (1798-1857), who developed the coherent doctrine and is the acknowledged founder of positivism.
  • Whats luck got to do with it? (hiscox.co.uk)
    Dr Stephann Makri, a lecturer at London’s City University, likes to use the term “serendipity” for what is essentially self-made luck. He says it contains three key ingredients: unexpected circumstances, insightful “a-ha moments”, and a valuable unanticipated outcome.We can increase our chances of enjoying serendipity by making our minds more adept at having “a-ha moments”, and to take action to turn those unexpected circumstances into valuable outcomes, said Makri.
  • The Future Of Modern Marketing Is Human-Centered (business2community.com)
    Before the turn of the 20th century into the 21st century, a movement began. This movement called for a more user-centered approach, or also commonly referred to as human-centered, to designing products, software, digital interactions, and design concepts. It is rooted in the belief, which is by understanding human goals and behaviors; we can design concepts empathetic to the user – or humans. More than a decade later, these concepts are becoming increasingly important to marketing.
