Allah, Jehovah our God, Who is the Almighty, Who takes away our fear, sorrows and gives us hope in better times, is the One to Whom we look up and praise for all the wonders we might enjoy around us.
There are lots of people who try to get us away from our faith in God. We should be careful not to fall into their trap. The Scriptures warn of such false teachers, deceivers and tricksters who might lead us astray.

Dealing with Disappointment
A writer who has three teenage sons and one teenage daughter, all of them were born about seventeen months apart has a family life like any other in which good and bad things may happen. Having been immersed in diapers, runny noses, and sticky fingers full on in those years this writer looks at what disappointment may be.
She has loved with as much vulnerability as she could, but have wonders if she trained them well. When facing the day again many thoughts may come up in our head and questions may whirl around our head.
Do they know where to turn when the battle around them rages on. When their hearts are hurt, when there is fear or remorse? Do they know how to forgive and how to extend grace?
As parents we try to prepare our children. We try to make them strong enough so that they , at their turn, shall be able to look at the world, go into it and accomplish many things. Hopefully not having to suffer to much and hopefully not to end up to be disappointed.
For sure they too shall have to face ‘Disappointments’, but what would they be?
*
To remember
- It looks different for everyone…it is deeply personal.
- Maybe … describes an unmet need, a missed opportunity,…a loss > cut deeply, become hard to move through + settle deep in the spirit, festering… leaving holes in beating hearts. => rob the heart fibers of joy.
- Disappointments left untended => create bitter roots reaching deep…souring the soul and poisoning the body.
She felt that kind of life-threatening disappointment. The kind that will suck the very breath from your lungs.
- the climb too hard + the terrain too exhausting = journey seems impossible.
What is your mountain? A failing marriage…children running from home or faith…a body broken with sickness…a heart crushed with grief? Betrayal from a friend?
- Our life will be messy + take place among the brokenness in the world.
- Brokenness around us…brokenness living within us = living among the weeds.
- when we feel empty > dull, lonely heartache
The writer has learned not to let her fleeting feelings rule + reign her thoughts about a current circumstance.
- God has given an entire range of emotional experience to explore = freedom bring great joy + excruciating heartache.
**
Please concerning the last part of the text we want to say that we best pray to God. We also may be thankful to Jesus and give him praise, but we may only give the highest praise and worship to the heavenly Father of Jesus.

Ruth having reason to grief
Ruth had every possibility to become bitter. She lost her husband and her father-in-law, but she determined to follow God in the midst of that. She was faithful to her mother-in-law and did what she could do to provide for them both. Then, everything turned around at the threshing floor when she asked the wealthy landowner of Bethlehem, and kinsman of Elimelech, Naomi‘s late husband, Boaz to take her under his wing as her kinsman-redeemer. Her encounter with her kinsman-redeemer changed her life and the course of history as she was grafted into the line from which Jesus was born.
We can now look up at that man from the line of king David. He also has suffered a lot and also caused others to have lots of pain. But those around him carried their sorrow and where pleased to be privileged to have known this remarkable man.
For those around Jesus life was not easy. His disciples where even caught by such fear that they did not dare to come in the public any more, until they received the fire of the Holy Spirit.
For us life also presents its difficulties. It is not all glamour and happiness. Life can be hard at times. Disappointments come. Sometimes, we disappoint ourselves, but often we also bring disappointments to others. Like we can be hurt by others we too can cause pain to others. In life we shall fall more than once and each time we do have to get up again. It is how you manage to cope with all those difficulties that shall make you or break you. What you do next determines the fruitfulness of the rest of your life.

David Grégoire Van Reybrouck Flemish Belgian author who writes historical fiction, literary non-fiction, novels, poetry, plays and academic texts. He has received several Dutch literary prizes, including AKO Literature Prize (2010) and Libris History Prize.

Jens Stoltenberg
One hears language of war here and there as a reaction to acts of terror worldwide. In his opinion column David Van Reybrouck pleads for other forms of resoluteness than war language. Immediately after the attacks in Norway the Prime Minister Stoltenberg pleaded frankly for
“more democracy, more openness, more participation“.
In this climate of violence we need this connective thinking. Violence starts indeed where people allow themselves to be played off against each other and point at innocent people.
Only light can conquer darkness.
Last november ,’Hart boven Hard‘ (Heart above Hard) and other similar organisations have organised simultaneous “silent wakes” in various towns in solidarity with all the victims of terror attacks and wars. Under the common motto “together against hate” the civil movement invites as many people as possible to make a gesture against violence, polarising and terrorism.
Also the youth brigade Tony! takes to the streets in order to commit hopeful attacks. In the autumn they drove through the city and projected connecting messages onto public buildings like the MAS. With this wildbeam action these young people offer a constructive counterweight. They choose for radical hope as a last freedom of the human being. The freedom to choose how we want to deal with the things thrown at us today.
An alternative for fear begins with …. YOU!
Every person who chooses resolutely every day to stay lovingly, to accept dialogue, to choose for encounter, knows that this is not an easy path to take. Resistance, disappointment, desperation are part of it. Resilience is a must. Notwithstanding this MWN summons – already for over 55 years – to choose this path. To keep trusting. Also when it becomes difficult. Because we keep believing in the silent force of many citizens who together keep delivering small , meaningful deeds. As a silent protest.

The present and 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso
The Dalai Lama has spread a similar message :
“Violence is a reaction of shortsighted people that have lost the plot. At 81 I believe that violence cannot be solved by prayers or Governments. We have to create change at an individual level and then spread this to your neighbourhood and the society”.

Fear, struggles, sadness, bad feelings and depression
Do you feel like having “the blues”?
From time to time people shall feel sad or shall have downswings in mood. We should not fear this being an abnormal reaction to life’s struggles, setbacks, and disappointments. Many people use the word “depression” to explain these kinds of feelings, but depression is much more than just sadness.
We shall have to start worrying when the normal ups and downs of life let us feel more sad than we should do or would bring us out of balance. When getting the “the blues” brings us in a stadium where we do have no control any more, than we should start to worry.
When emptiness and despair have taken hold of your life and won’t go away, you may have depression. Such a negative state of mind can make it tough to function and enjoy life like you once did and should do. When you become so ‘depri’ that you do seem to loose any control and that you are just getting through the day is overwhelming, you could find yourself in a situation where others should come to help you.
Always you should know, no matter how hopeless you feel, that there is a solution for you and that you can get better. Understanding the signs, symptoms, causes, and treatment of depression is the first step to overcoming the problem. When you hear other people talking and get to know they where depressed at some time, never think your depression should be like theirs. Every depression is different, but every different case has ways to come out of it.
Depression varies from person to person, but there are some common signs and symptoms. It’s important to remember that these symptoms can be part of life’s normal lows. But the more symptoms you have, the stronger they are, and the longer they’ve lasted—the more likely it is that you’re dealing with depression. When these symptoms are overwhelming and disabling, that’s when it’s time to seek help. {Depression Symptoms & Warning Signs}
When you start like losing interest in things you enjoy, you should start worrying and going to look out for people who really can help you. But do know that you yourself have enough inside you to bring yourself up again. But than you have to start believing in yourself first. Yeah, believing in yourself is the main gate to recovery. Because of the darkness in you it may be difficult to find that door to rescue. But if you are willing to look carefully you shall be able to find a tiny light which can become brighter if you are wiling to open your eyes more.
You may feel weak but do know that depression is a medical illness, not a sign of weakness. And it’s treatable. If you think you might be depressed, don’t try to tough it out. Make an appointment with a doctor or therapist. Perhaps many persons would like to set you on medical drugs straight away, but it would be safer to use the many other effective, proven ways to relieve depression.
For most people, the first treatments a doctor will try are antidepressants and psychotherapy. Some studies have found that combining therapy with medication works better than medication alone.
You should know there are a lot of options, and nature provides many of solutions which do not poison your body with synthetic drugs. Walking in green areas may already be a very simple solution, letting your eyes wonder over the beauty of creation and letting it perhaps go chaotic for the time walking, bombarding you with all sorts of ideas. Daring to let all those ideas coming out of your mind will help you.
When you feel that you are taken by depression look for reading material about the decease. Keep reading to learn more about antidepressants, therapy, and healthy habits that can help
When you have severe symptoms that interfere with your ability to work, sleep, study, eat, and enjoy life and doctors find it better to take some medication, you may consider such a help. Check if there are previous histories in your family. However, depression can occur in people without family histories of depression too.
Scientists are studying certain genes that may make some people more prone to depression. Some genetics research indicates that risk for depression results from the influence of several genes acting together with environmental or other factors. In addition, trauma, loss of a loved one, a difficult relationship, or any stressful situation may trigger a depressive episode. Other depressive episodes may occur with or without an obvious trigger.
Certain medications, and some medical conditions such as viruses or a thyroid disorder, can cause the same symptoms as depression. A doctor can rule out these possibilities by doing a physical exam, interview, and lab tests. If the doctor can find no medical condition that may be causing the depression, the next step is a psychological evaluation.
Talking with a psychiatric doctor may bring you on the way to find solutions for your unpleasant condition. Some people shall be advised to ad may physical exercises to their daily routine, or to take homoeopathic or phytotherapeutic treatment to work on that what is weakened or not working so well in the body system, others need more drastic drugs which go to work in the brain directly, working on brain chemicals called neurotransmitters, especially serotonin and norepinephrine..
Depending on the medication, antidepressants may cause increased appetite and weight gain, low sex drive, insomnia, jittery feelings, dry mouth, blurred vision, and fatigue and drowsiness.
These side effects don’t affect everyone, and if they do, many times they eventually fade. But if they don’t, your doctor can change your medicine or dosage or talk with you about how to manage side effects so they don’t bother you as much. {Antidepressant Side Effects}
Alcohol and other substance abuse or dependence may also co-exist with depression. Research shows that mood disorders and substance abuse commonly occur together. In such instance the patient has to be prepared to look for solutions to get rid of those disorders as well. Though if they are willing to tackle already one problem, they shall find out that treating the depression can also help improve the outcome of treating the co-occurring illness.

- Antidepressants Make Things Worse in the Long Term (madinamerica.com)
The authors propose the term “tardive dysphoria” to describe this condition. Tardive means delayed; dysphoria means unhappy or depressed. The idea is that just as prolonged ingestion of neuroleptics causes tardive dyskinesia, so the prolonged ingestion of antidepressants causes tardive dysphoria. It’s a nice idea, but the name hasn’t caught on – at least not yet.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), such mood disorders as depression affect some 10% of the world’s population and are associated with a heavy burden of disease. In fact, the WHO recently reported that depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide. That’s why numerous scientists around the world have invested a great deal of effort in understanding these diseases. Yet the molecular and cellular mechanisms that underlie these problems are still only partly understood. The existing antidepressants are not good enough: Some 60-70% of patients get no relief from them. For the other 30-40%, that relief is often incomplete, and they must take the drugs for a long period before feeling any effects. In addition, there are many side effects associated with the drugs. New and better drugs are clearly needed, an undertaking that requires, first and foremost, a better understanding of the processes and causes underlying the disorders. - 7 Ways Depression Differs in Men and Women (livescience.com)
“We have known about sex differences for years when it comes to depression, and they are absolutely essential to understanding the illness,” said Jill Goldstein, director of research at the Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. In one of the largest depression-related differences between the sexes, women have about twice the risk of developing the condition as men, Goldstein said. This results in part from biological reasons, such as hormones and genes that get disrupted when brain regions are developing in the male and female fetus, she said. These biological changes during fetal development lay the groundwork that creates a vulnerability to mood disorders, such as depression, she said. - Antidepressants and Youth: A Decade since the “Black Box” (psychologytoday.com)
Ten years ago, the Food and Drug Administration mandated that all antidepressants carry a prominent “black box” warning to alert prescribers of the potential danger in children and adolescents of these medications leading to new suicidal thoughts or actions. The warning came in the midst of passionate debate about the potential risks and benefits of using and not using these drugs. A decade later, this discussion has largely disappeared from the public eye and evaded media headlines. The current pilot study evaluates the feasibility of randomization in a routine hospital setting and compares preliminary efficacy for day-clinic and inpatient psychotherapy for depression. - Types Of Depression Medications (howtocuremaledepression.com)
There is much misconception regarding male depression and there are many of them that make out that they fully understand what it is and the effect that it can have on people, but really if the truth be known they don’t have a clue or real understanding of the illness. If you are one of those who are unclear about the disorder and think that it is a disorder but rather an excuse to get attention, it does however goes deeper than that. Depression in men is not something you want to mess with or ignore, because if not put in check it is not only discouraging you from carrying out certain tasks and living a normal life, it is killing you.

While all prescription medications have side effects, antidepressant medications appear to do more harm than good as treatments for depression. We reviewed this evidence in a recent article published in the journal Frontiers in Psychology (freely available here).
The widespread use of antidepressants is a serious public health problem, and it raises a number of ethical and legal issues for prescribers (physicians, nurse practitioners). Here, we summarize some of the most important points that prescribers should ethically tell their patients before they prescribe antidepressant medications. We also discuss the ways that prescribers could be held legally liable for prescribing antidepressants. Finally, we implore practitioners to update the informed consent procedure for antidepressant medication to reflect current research and exercise greater caution in the prescription of antidepressants. - ‘Overreaction’ To Warnings About Teen Antidepressant Use Leads To Spike In Youth Suicide Attempts (publichealthwatch.wordpress.com)
A few years ago, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued warnings that children and teens who took a common kind of antidepressant might experience suicidal thoughts. The point of the warning was to make sure that parents and doctors paid closer attention to kids taking these medications. But the plan may have backfired. As the public took the Food and Drug Administration’s 2004 warning to heart, adolescent attempted suicides increased and antidepressant use dropped, according to research published in BMJ. Meanwhile, attempted suicides among teens rose 22 percent. Among those ages 18 to 29, attempted suicides increased 34 percent. The effect of a regulatory warning that gained wide attention in the media shows the need for better communication by public health professionals, said Christine Lu, the study’s lead author. The drop in antidepressant prescriptions among adolescents and young adults probably means depression went untreated, she said. - When Antidepressants Aren’t Enough | How Counseling Can Help With Depression (safeharbor1.wordpress.com)

A little ray of sunshine.
We should know that it has no use to let negativity overshadow our life. Though we do have to grow up with falling and standing up again, we always better try to stand up each time and to go on with the experience we got, using it not to weaken us but to sharpen us and to strengthen us in our life.
Every time we are confronted with something negative, we should take a deep breath and try to remember the better happenings, the events we enjoyed, the people who could give us some warmth and the friendships which are dear to us.
The best reliance is the the deeper inner self, the trust in what is perhaps hidden deep in ourselves. Never shall alcohol, overeating, or drugs be of any real help. Sometimes it may look it can give some solace, but it shall not really bring alleviation.
All being created in the image of God we should know we do have Somebody to count on. Wherever we are in whatever situation we might be, we should not feel lonely or on our own. If we really want to allow the Supreme Divine Creator enter in our life, He shall be willing to take our stretched out hand and to help us over the ridge, the dessert or the dangerous river.
In Him we can find our Helper, our Sword, our Light and The One Who brings us further in this life.
In and with Him, the God of gods, we shall be able to feel the love and to give love to others so that they shall come closer to us wanting to share the same feelings of unity and close friendship in this universe which has so much to offer.Always keep looking for the positive and believe in yourself, because you are here created and placed on this earth with reason. You will not always see it directly what your purpose in life will be, but when you continue your way you shall find out and find it worthwhile living.
Open yourself to see opportunities and to love your life. Be wise enough to be grateful. Be courageous enough to be happy.
Success.

What IF you’re only driven by stress?
As first posting I come to present something which is not of my own, but which I would like to share with you, because it can be a good lesson for all of us, how bad previous experiences can lighten us up and can let us conquer many negative things , by helping others.
The writer of this reblogged article is Eman Kawas, who had a very nasty experience in her life. There were times when people disappointed her and let her down, but those were the times when she had to remind herself to trust her own judgement and opinions, to keep her life focused on believing in herself and all that she was and is capable of.
Every person in this world caries her or his own story with awful but also nice experiences. All of us will have to face challenges to make in their life. The outside world may put pressure on us with many things. We should know we always should be in charge to make our own choices and that we can not be called guilty for those things which happened to us, without our consent.
In our life we often let us be carried away by bad experiences or let others ‘kill our spirit’ because of bad things they have done to us or like to do to us. At work, in our neighbourhood, in our circle of friends and family, we may encounter many circumstances which would like to impress on us positively but also negatively.
To make the best out of our life we first of all have to know where we stand and where we would like to be. Before we can go forward in our life we get to get rid of all the ballast and do away all the dirt lying in front of us.
We have to take care we do not have to face a negative emotion that can produce negative experiences. Because once negative experiences are present, they can take us in a negative spiral, downward on the road instead of upwards. Basic daily events or tasks at hand, may never going to suck the good energies from us and turn them into negative energies. We may never let it come to a point where that what we have to do or to tackle comes to look like impossible or seems not to be solved.
We always should take care that we are able to be ready to undertake the ‘battle of life’. We should take care we do not come into a situation where we think the only solution would be to take a flight. We should always remember that we have to choose to fight our given problems and that we never should fear so much man, or run away from them. (the only One we should really fear is the Divine Creator God. )When we become aware of too much stress we should think about going into the defence by ‘becoming calmer’ and by using the flight of the ‘own personality’, making sure that you start to regain your full positive energy from your life.
Never may we get carried away by thinking our stress is a sign of weakness. It is up to us to make us stronger by putting all experiences up to the good and to relative many issues. Sometimes taking distance of what bothers us can help. Going for a stroll or a nice walk in the green nature, calming us down and taking care we come not so stressful that we do come in a circle of depression.
A little bit of stress or anxiety can help us to stay alert and to stimulate us to undertake certain actions. Let us use it for our advantage to create new things and to be very active. But let it not destroy our creativity nor our aim to continue that what we believe would be good.
Therefore always keep faith in yourself, believe in yourself and in your own family and always ‘stay your self’ whatever the circumstances may be. Always keeping your own personality shall already avoid much of stress taking you down.+

- Tackling stress in a tough climate (hiscox.co.uk)
Not surprisingly their biggest source of stress is the fear of losing their business (57%). But pressures in today’s tough business climate are also putting an increasing strain on them. Many worry about losing clients (54%) or feel the pressure of bringing in new business (52%). A tailored professional indemnity insurance policy may help to mitigate these risks. If the business they have worked so hard to build is under threat, it’s understandable that company owners will try to keep as much of a work/life balance as they can while doing everything possible to keep the business afloat. However on a positive, most (68%) say they try to keep a good work/life balance.
Many entrepreneurs would say they thrive on stress, that they make better decisions under pressure and have some of their best ideas when up against the clock. But stress is meant to be a temporary condition. If it becomes the norm rather than the exception in your working day it can quickly lead to burnout. Chronic stress can lead you to make poor decisions causing your business to suffer.
It’s important for entrepreneurs to take steps to tackle stress so you can stay at the top of your game. Eat healthily, take exercise, get enough sleep, but also get away from work once in a while. Spend time with your family and go out with your friends. Put it in your diary if you have to. You’ll appreciate it. And so will they.

You are not the only one with either personal or collective problems, because rest of the human kind can have deep predicaments with great fears. On the other hand, stress can find you, with a repeated daily tasks. This involves your entirety of your life. Now you must analyse everything about yourself, and understand how you ended up in such condition. Then take the right action or confront your greatest fear and solve the problem there and then. This may not be easy but when you accomplish your goal, your entire life may outlook into more easy times. You see, problems are not assignments to deals with, but they are part of life, to teach you, one thing, and that is to gain higher experience in life. This leads to complete knowledge of a certain wisdom in life.- The Karma of Stress. ~ Beatrice Bachleda (elephantjournal.com)
It begins with one thing, and when we don’t get right down to the cause and take care of it, it begins to sneak into other things. Eventually the small things that we would never think about twice become the reason why we suddenly burst into tears or begin snapping at people we love. The problem with stress lies in our conditioning. It’s in the “agreement” we made that stress is a negative thing and must be demolished instantly or else we are to blame for its existence. The agreement says we “shouldn‘t let stress get to us.”- Why stress might not be so bad (thelondonuniversity.com)
Much of what we know about the physical and mental toll of chronic stress stems from seminal work by Robert Sapolsky beginning in the late 1970s. [Sapolsky, PhD,] a neuroendocrinologist, was among the first to make the connection that the hormones released during the fight-or-flight response—the ones that helped our ancestors avoid becoming dinner—have deleterious effects when the stress is severe and sustained. Especially insidious, chronic exposure to one of these hormones, cortisol, causes brain changes that make it increasingly difficult to shut the stress response down.- Owning our Health: Taking control of stress (blogs.vancouversun.com)
Cynicism is that nagging, negative feeling of mistrust and doubt due to a build-up of life’s ups and downs; its hurts and betrayals. Viewing life through mistrustful lenses, we are constantly on the alert and on the defensive – our fight or flight reactor permanently switched on. This negative viewpoint can silently drain us for years, going undetected and unnoticed.
+
To be healthier in every way, we need to consciously take care of this important part of us in a way that heals cynicism as well as other signs of stress. What’s needed is a rethink about how we view our world and our place in it.Understanding the circumstances that lead us to feel mistrustful, at risk, not valued or cared for and, thus, cynical is a great start. Often we find it is the continual remembering of a whole history of negative events that brings us to that stressed and cynical viewpoint. But we shouldn’t stop at just recognizing the problem.

Nurturing a spiritual practice builds a stronger, more rooted sense of unity with the divine. And, this builds a sense of stability, safety as well as new perspectives. The prayers of Jesus, for example, show us that in communing with God we can find a safe place where we can learn to see ourselves from a more spiritual standpoint, which allows us to respond to difficulties more effectively. Even in our darkest of moments, this action can redefine how we see the world – lifting the mistrust, anger, and fear that breed cynicism.- How the stress of our “always on” culture can impact performance, health and happiness (scopeblog.stanford.edu)

Everyone gets stressed out at times, and here on earth, a lot of things can bring us down and make it much harder to re-find a good vibration if we let them. Our emotions and expressions affect the vibration of the entire planet, and to heal this world, it’s essential that we situate ourselves on a good vibration as much and as often as possible. It’s more than easy to dip into stress and frustration when circumstances in our lives allow for it, and here, I’d like to offer five things we can do when stressful situations pile on and make it harder to be in a positive space.
+Remember that you’re never alone, and if you need to, take some time off from whatever’s stressing you out and ease into your unfolding higher-vibrational perception. In due time, stress will cease to bring people down like it has for so long, but for now, we have to be able to be here for each other when it gets the best of us.
Stay strong, fellow seekers, because stress or no stress, our greatest work is just beginning.

Those are signs that you are driven by stress, when you’re faced by “sink or swim situations” and that’s the only way that you would go above and beyond, then that’s when you realize you are driven by stress. A recent discovery took me to a place to see the reason I am dissatisfied, not achieved or maybe just bored.
Performance driven people are the ones that see challenges as opportunities to succeed; they tend to set SMART goals for themselves, no magic involved (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely goals) and remain positive to be ready for the opportunities that rise, on the other hand stress driven people perceive…

Getting out of the dark corners of this world
Because of certain unpleasant things that happened to individuals who belonged by their family tradition to a church, they left that church as soon as they left the parents house.
After some experiences they tried to keep quiet for years the last few years their wounds were opened again. Perhaps matters can gain momentum. The development presented by the pontiff of the Catholic Church may ease some pain many had to endure for many years.
The events which sometimes took them by surprise, and for some became a chain for many years, brought them in the darkness. But not always bad experiences had to bring people in the dark corners of this world. Many experiences in our childhood or in our adulthood may have disappointed us and given a bad picture of the world we are living in.
Maybe some of the readers coming along here are facing some darkness in their life or are currently going through a desert period with God. The might feeling abandoned by people but worse, by the One Who they thought would resolve all their problems, or the One which they heard talking about from early childhood onwards.
We shall not be saying that you can not have happiness without That One Who has been spoken off in your childhood or about Whom you heard so many talking. To those who believe in god or gods we shall also not say they shall have only happiness and shall have no pain. Be sure, also a believer in God shall have his or her share of unhappiness, fear, frustration and pain. It is not because you would believe in the God of gods that you shall have no suffering.
Some (or perhaps many) may feel abandoned by “Him”. Even His most beloved only begotten son cried at one moment
“Father why have you abandoned me?”.
Nonetheless, this son of Him had all the time been faithful to his Father and had only done His Will. So why and how could this man of 33 been calling on his Dad when he was put on a wooden stake, to find his death?
Did this son think his Father had broken His promises to him and to His people? When you look at the history of that Nazarene man you might find that he could do many unbelievable things, just because his Father was with him. the son also recognised that and told others he could do nothing without that Father in heaven who was much mightier than he.
Joh 14:27-31 NHEBYSE Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (28) You heard how I told you, ‘I go away, and I come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater than I. (29) Now I have told you before it happens so that, when it happens, you may believe. (30) I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me. (31) But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded me, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.

Giotto’s depiction of Jesus before Caiaphas in the morning based on Luke 22 (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Lots of Christians as soon as they started to be pointed out what was written in their Scriptures came to see how much their church institution had ‘lied’ to them or told them many things which they could not find in the Book of books. They became so disillusioned by their church and its teaching they left it, without wondering if there were no alternatives. Many laughed at that man who had to be at the same time God, but hearing them say things that contradicted their own saying. The idea of God in human form made Daniel 7:9–13 crucially important. In this famous vision scene, the Ancient of Days (God) sees “a human one” (“son of man”) coming to him with the clouds. It is to this figure that God may give everlasting dominion, but that does not mean that God gives Himself into the being of that man. Worldly fathers also can try to do everything they can to give to their son. Many shall even hope that their son will become like them. But they all know that their son shall never become the same person as they are. Though many in Christendom would like to believe that. They want to see that the unity between father and son means that father and son become one and the same person. They misunderstood the oneness like Caiaphas hears the passage Jesus quotes from Daniel, when the high priest demands to know who he is. Many claim Caiaphas’ reaction tells us immediately that he knew Jesus was claiming to be the God of Israel in human form — the second power. But that is not the case. It is not because many people may accuse somebody to be saying that he is god, like Pharaoh, or even Moses or some angels, that he or they are really the God of gods. That Caiaphas tears his clothes and charges Jesus with blasphemy also does not proof that Jesus is The God (Matthew 26:63–68).
God can not die, but from historical writings and also from the Bible itself we do know that Jesus died. The Nazarene Jew found an end to his life at the age of 33. Christians are even remembering his death these coming days. Did many forgot the words of this man saying it was not him doing those miracles? Jesus answered them that it was not him but his Father Who worked until now. And it was that calling onto the heavenly Father that people got bothered and angry. That calling onto the Elohim was it that made the Jews their blood boil. Therefore they sought the more to kill this troublesome Jewish rabbi, who got more followers than they. People got glued to his lips and that the Pharisees did not like. Because Jeshua (Jesus Christ) not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, they thought he was making himself equal with God. In the Bible it does not say that he was God, but that the people were weary with him claiming equality. Jesus answered very clearly he was not doing the things out of himself. He told them that he was just a son of God and that he as son could do nothing by himself, but what he saw the Father doing. For whatever things The Father does, these also does the son likewise. Clearly all the time Jesus speaks about two different persons. First there is the Father Who loves the Son. Several people could hear that Father saying that from heaven, when they were standing at the River Jordan, by the baptism of Jeshua.
Mat 3:16-17 RHB (1.5) And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up immediately out of the water: and lo, the Heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him: (17) And lo, a voice from Heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I AM well pleased.
The few years Jesus walked from one place to the other preaching the Good News of the Gospel of the coming Kingdom of God, he made the name of his Father known and asked people not to praise him but his Father, the Only True God, Whose holy Name should be known by the whole world as Jehovah.
Jesus let the people also know that what he did was nothing compared with what his Father did. In the past the People of God had already seen incredible things and had felt how the Hand of the Maker of the universe guided them away from slavery, through the dessert, giving them daily manna? But the wonders would not end because Jehovah, the Only One God was going to do greater works than these Jesus could do, so that all people may marvel. Jesus knew he was going to die. He was prepared to give his body for the sins of many. But he believed also that he could trust his Father, like many other prophets had trusted Him. For as the Father raises the dead, and vivifies them; even so the son vivifies whom he will, could he add and create hope for all those who would come to believe in what and whom he, Jeshua rally was. We should come to understanding that Jeshua was that long awaited Messiah. He is the Christ. The son honoured his Father in heaven, who had sent him. He taught others to come to his heavenly Father and to come into the footsteps of the send one. Many did not want to hear his words, and later many twisted his words. He always spoke about the love we should get for others, because all were created in the image of his Father, Who should also be our heavenly Father, and to Whom we also should pray “Our Father“. Instead of sitting in the dark corners and not believing that there can be hope for everybody, we would do better to listen to that Nazarene man his words. Not only because he himself told us that those who would hear his words, and would believe on Him that sent him, would have everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but has passed from death to life.
When we look at what is happening in the world we should see signs of which the send one from God, Jesus Christ, the Messiah has spoken. We then should see that the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the son of God: and they that hear shall live.
Even when we had a bad life, we can look up at the son who on 14 Nisan remembered how his Father brought His people out of slavery. He there in the upper-room also installed the New Covenant as sign of a restored relationship of God with his son Jeshua (Jesus Christ) and with us, as children of God. Many took offence in the time Jesus was living that he said that for as the Father has life in Himself that he himself also had received the power from God to have life in himself; and that God would have given him authority to execute judgement also, because he is the “Son of Man“. These coming days we shall remember what that “son of Adam“, “son of Abraham” and “son of God” has done and why he can take in the place of the first Adam, to become the second Adam.
Joh 5:17-26 NHEBYSE But Jesus answered them, “My Father is still working, so I am working, too.” (18) For this cause therefore the Jewish leaders sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God. (19) Jesus therefore answered them, “Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise. (20) For the Father has affection for the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel. (21) For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom he desires. (22) For the Father judges no one, but he has given all judgment to the Son, (23) that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. (24) “Truly, truly, I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. (25) Truly, truly, I tell you, the hour comes, and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God’s voice; and those who hear will live. (26) For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.
Those who do not belief in a God are also blessed by the Grace of God. They also are allowed to live here on this earth. All people, but first of all those who believe in God, should respect all others who live on this world. In respect for the Creator His creation, they should respect everything what God allows to be in the universe. But those who are in the dark corners we should show the light which can come over them. Because God has taken care that light can come over all those who want. All who want to hear and believe can be partakers of the blessings, which came onto this earth by that son of God. He made an end to death and therefore we should not fear any more for the death. It shall not be able to do much, and we know that all shall have to die one day, so we better make the best of our life, as long as we live, because from Scriptures we know we can not take anything into our death and shall be nothing with the treasures gathered in this life.
It is Now we have to make it. It is Now we have to create a nice place to live. It is Now that we have to work for Peace.
For those who feel left alone or left in a dark corner, please come with us and join us on the road to better pastures. Do you think God left you, come to see otherwise. Do you think the god of your previous life is not a good one, try to find the Right God, and let us help you to find Him. Is He refusing to talk to you? Do you get depressed every time you read the Bible? Are other Christians getting on your nerves? Are you burned out by church? Use this and some of our other sites to come to see it is not so. You might even come to see that why cussing Him out and hating Him doesn’t mean you’re a spiritual failure. Learn how you can tell that He absolutely will not leave you here forever.

When during our time of confession and absolution earlier, I mentioned that God daily and richly forgives our sins and grants us new life, those are not just mere words. They are what we believe, what we count upon each day.But we realize as well, and take great joy in the knowledge that this has been God’s plan from the beginning, that Jesus, the one, would die that all the children of God would never fear the power of sin, that is, that death would somehow be the end.

It does seem that running in the same circles draws us together. As we share the same experiences or know the same people, it seems easier to view the world together. But once the events, times and places change, some friendships seem to fall away. - Love Wins, Week 5: Rocks (revjillhoward.wordpress.com)
How and when have you encountered God in your life? Or are you not sure if you have at all? Anne Lamott, in her book, Traveling Mercies, shares her story of how she came to faith through a series of intense life experiences. After years of dependency on drugs and alcohol to escape the difficulties of life, she found herself in the depths of her own hell, drunk, on drugs, and alone on one particular night. Shaky, scared, sick, and finally sobering up, she crawled into bed and after a while, felt a presence in the room with her, hunkered down in the corner. She explains that the feeling was so real that she actually turned on a light for a moment to make sure that no one was there. But after awhile, in the dark again, she knew beyond a doubt that the presence was Jesus. And she was appalled. Why? Because she couldn’t imagine what her friends would think if she became a Christian, or how she would handle it herself based on the Christians that she knew. She simply could not allow for that to happen. She screamed out in the darkness to the wall, “I would rather die!” But yet she felt Jesus there on his haunches in the corner, watching with patience and love. - Maybe Tonight (The Pedophile) by Nicole Eva Fraser (secondwindpub.wordpress.com)
In daylight my room was a haven. Safe behind the closed door, I could read, write letters to my pen pals, and commune with the tall lilac bush just outside the second-floor window by my bed. But in the dark of night, my room was a chamber of panic. It is no exaggeration that in all my conscious memories of childhood, I never fell asleep without terror. I knew I wasn’t safe from people in my family or from the evil presence lurking in our house that would one night snuff me out. I would lie in bed, my mind and body throbbing with spiraling panic, seemingly for hours—then the next thing I knew, I’d be opening my eyes to another morning.

I didn’t expect comfort from my mother, and she didn’t provide any, nor did she mention the incident that night or the next day. I figured she had forgotten about it. And I told no one else what had happened to me; it was too terrifying, and somehow my fault, and I was afraid my friends wouldn’t want to be my friends if they knew.

I felt like the world was going dark, like I was going to vomit, like I was sinking into the darkness and never coming back. “No,” I said, “I don’t want to,” but I didn’t cry because I knew that wouldn’t change her mind. - The Fire Changes EVERYTHING! [Part one] (nnyphishnet.net)
It really was ‘one of those days’ that left me feeling stunned, numb, burned beyond recognition, invisible, and abandoned. Like a building had collapsed on me, and there I was- seemingly left for dead [at least somebody was] or just left to go it alone… - Before the Council – April 6, 2014 – Matthew 26: 47 – 58 (prissiesissie.wordpress.com)
Since Caiaphas didn’t have enough testimony for a conviction, he turned to Jesus looking for a confession, but Jesus was silent. Jesus had done nothing wrong. He had nothing to confess and the Sanhedrin couldn’t find enough witnesses to claim He had. They couldn’t even find enough false witnesses to agree on what He had done.Jesus could have defended Himself and His ministry, but He chose to remain silent. He had resigned Himself to their plot. He knew His death was inevitable and He could say nothing to dissuade them from their plans. He simply refused to participate in the drama. The Sanhedrin were relying on “plots and schemes and false accusations” but Jesus had placed His trust in God. He would have the courage to be endure the plan that was unfolding.

Caiaphas’ probably felt his worst fears were confirmed when Jeshua arrived in Jerusalem on Sunday, the first working day of the week that Passover started. Hebrew tradition said that messiah would arrive in Jerusalem through the Golden Gate riding on a donkey. As Jeshua did precisely that, thousands of Passover pilgrims, camped on hillsides around the city, flocked around him. Cheering him on they covered the road to the gate with cloaks and palm branches. Jeshua knew exactly how the Hebrews would interpret his arrival.

Jeshua was not particularly attacking the traders. The modern church often interpret these verses as an attack on commerce but that isn’t Jeshua’s point. Monopoly suppliers protected by an institution often line their pockets unfairly but that was a minor issue. Jeshua’s real target was the institution itself. - Palm Sunday 2014 , April 13, 2014 in the World (liveloveandpray.wordpress.com)
My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?
Indeed, many dogs surround me,
a pack of evildoers closes in upon me;
They have pierced my hands and my feet;
I can count all my bones.

The centurion and the men with him who were keeping watch over Jesus
feared greatly when they saw the earthquake
and all that was happening, and they said,
“Truly, this was the Son of God!”
