Gepriesen sei Gott, der höchste König, der über allen Göttern steht

Es gibt nur einen, dem wir sein Heil Tag für Tag auf der ganzen Erde verkünden wollen, und das ist der mächtige Gott, der ewige Vater. Sein Geschenk ist ewiges Leben für diejenigen, die ihn ehren. Nicht die Toten sollen wir preisen, sondern den lebendigen Gott. Alles, was Odem hat, muss letztendlich Jehova preisen, der Freude an seinem Volk hat.

Herrlich ist unser Gott, sein Name auf der ganzen Erde! Er, der seine Majestät über die Himmel und die Erde gesetzt hat. Viele wollen nichts von Ihm wissen. Aber der Tag wird kommen, an dem sie erschrocken sein und sehen werden, dass er der höchste König ist, der die Erde regiert.

Lasst uns dem Allerhöchsten Lob und Ehre singen, damit er sich bekannt macht und sich erhöht, damit seine Herrlichkeit die Erde umspannt. Wir freuen uns auf den kommenden Tag, an dem Jehova Gott auf der ganzen Erde von allen angebetet und mit Lob gepriesen wird. Alle werden Seinen Namen preisen und alle werden wissen und anerkennen, dass Er allein, dessen Name Jehova ist, der Herr der Herren und der ganzen Erde ist, Der auf dem Allerhöchsten Thron sitzt.

Alle werden erkennen, dass Jehova der einzige Gott ist, der souveräne Herr, der sich hoch über alle Götter auf der ganzen Erde erhebt. Vor Jenem Gott, dessen Werke groß und zahllos sind und der mit Seiner Weisheit erschaffen wurde, sehen wir die Erde voller Seiner Reichtümer.

Zu diesem Gott beten wir, dass seine majestätische Herrlichkeit die Erde umgibt und dass er sich an unseren Namen erinnert und uns zu sich nimmt, damit wir weiterhin in Freude leben können.

Praise to God the Most High King Who is above all gods

There is only one to whom we want to proclaim His salvation from day to day throughout the whole earth, and that is the mighty God, the Eternal Father. His gift is eternal life to those who will honour Him. It is not the dead that we should praise, but the living God. Everything that has breath must ultimately praise Jehovah, Who takes pleasure in His People.

Glorious is our God His Name in all the earth! He who has set His majesty above the heavens and the earth. Many do not want to know about Him. But the day will come when they will be terrified and see that He is the Supreme King who rules the earth.

Let us sing praises and honours to the Most High, that He may make Himself known and exalt Himself so that His glory may encompass the earth. We look forward to the day to come when Jehovah God all on earth will be worshipped by all and praised with praise. All will sing in praise of His Name, and all will know and acknowledge that He alone, whose name is Jehovah, is the Lord of lords and of all the earth Who is seated on the Most High Throne.

All will recognise that Jehovah is the Only God, the Sovereign Lord, rising high above all the gods over all the earth. Before That God Whose Works are great, numberless, and created with His wisdom, we behold the earth filled with His riches.

To that God we pray that His majestic glory will encompass the earth and that He will remember our name and take us to Himself, that we may go on living in joy.

Lofzang tot God de Allerhoogste Koning Die boven alle goden is

Er is slechts één aan wie wij Zijn heil van dag tot dag over heel de aarde willen verkondigen en dat is de sterke God, de eeuwige Vader. Zijn gave is eeuwig leven aan hen die Hem willen eren. Het zijn niet de doden die wij moeten loven, maar wel de levende God. Al wat adem heeft moet uiteindelijk Jehovah, Die welgevallen in Zijn Volk heeft, loven.

Heerlijk is onze God Zijn Naam op de ganse aarde! Hij, die Zijn majesteit gesteld heeft boven de hemel en aarde. Velen willen niet van Hem weten. Maar er zal een dag komen dat zij zullen schrikken en inzien dat Hij de Allerhoogste Koning is die het aardrijk beheerst.

Laten wij voor Die Allerhoogste lof en eer zingen, zodat Deze Zich zal laten kennen en verheffen zodat Zijn glorie de aarde zal omvatten. Wij verheugen ons op de dag die zal komen en wanneer Jehovah God alles op aarde door iedereen zal aanbeden worden en met lofgezangen zal geëerd worden. Allen zullen zingen ter eer van Zijn Naam en iedereen zal weten en erkennen dat slechts Hij – wiens naam Jehovah is, de Heer over heren en over heel de aarde is Die gezeten is op de allerhoogste troon.

Allen zullen erkennen dat Jehovah de Enige God is, de Soevereine Heer, boven heel de aarde hoog verrijzend boven alle goden. Voor Die God Wiens Werken groots, ongeteld en met door Zijn wijsheid geschapen zijn, aanschouwen wij de aarde die vervuld is met Zijn rijkdom.

Aan Die God verzoeken wij dat Zijn majestueuze glorie de aarde zal omvatten en dat Hij onze naam zal gedenken en ons tot Zich zal nemen, zodat wij in blijdschap zullen mogen verder leven.

Een herinnering aan Jezus dood die toch vreugde mag schenken

De afgelopen weken zijn er van verdriet en vreugde geweest. Langs één kant zien wij hoe slecht het nog steeds blijft gaan in deze wereld en hoe velen weigeren in te zien wie Jezus is en wat hij werkelijk gedaan heeft.

Wij hebben aandacht geschonken aan zijn dood en hebben in herinnering genomen hoe hij zijn eigen wil opzij zette om de wil van zijn Vader te doen. Omwille van Gods Naam was Jezus hier een korte tijd op aarde.

“En een weinig voortgegaan zijnde, viel Hij op Zijn aangezicht, biddende en zeggende: Mijn Vader, indien het mogelijk is, laat dezen drinkbeker van Mij voorbijgaan! doch niet, gelijk Ik wil, maar gelijk Gij [wilt].” (Mt 26:39 SVV)

Zoals God het wilde is Jezus gevangen genomen, gefolterd om vervolgens aan een paal opgehangen te worden. Die ogenblikken van angst en pijn in de laatste dagen van zijn leven hebben wij nu onlangs herdacht (van 14-22 Nisan). Zoals het in de Schriften was opgetekend werd Jezus overgeleverd aan de overpriesters en schriftgeleerden om vervolgens aan een paal opgehangen te worden.

“18 Ziet, wij gaan op naar Jeruzalem, en de Zoon des mensen zal den overpriesteren en Schriftgeleerden overgeleverd worden, en zij zullen Hem ter dood veroordelen; 19 En zij zullen Hem den heidenen overleveren, om Hem te bespotten en te geselen, en te kruisigen; en ten derden dage zal Hij weder opstaan.” (Mt 20:18-19 SVV)

“En toen zij Hem bespot hadden, deden zij Hem den mantel af, en deden Hem Zijn klederen aan, en leidden Hem heen om te kruisigen.” (Mt 27:31 SVV)

“Als Hem dan de overpriesters en de dienaars zagen, riepen zij, zeggende: Kruis [Hem], kruis [Hem]; Pilatus zeide tot hen: Neemt gijlieden Hem en kruist [Hem]; want ik vind in Hem geen schuld.” (Joh 19:6 SVV)

De terdoodbrenging is normaal iets niet om blij te zijn. maar in Jezus dood mogen wij iets goeds en vreugdevols zien. Namelijk door zich als een lam op de slachtbank te laten offeren heeft Jezus de losprijs voor ons betaald. door zich aan het hout te laten hangen zijn onze zonden weg genomen.

“Des anderen daags zag Johannes Jezus tot zich komende, en zeide: Zie het Lam Gods, Dat de zonde der wereld wegneemt!” (Joh 1:29 SVV)

“Christus heeft ons verlost van den vloek der wet, een vloek geworden zijnde voor ons; want er is geschreven: Vervloekt is een iegelijk, die aan het hout hangt.” (Ga 3:13 SVV)

“Die Zelf onze zonden in Zijn lichaam gedragen heeft op het hout; opdat wij, der zonden afgestorven zijnde, der gerechtigheid leven zouden; door Wiens striemen gij genezen zijt.” (1Pe 2:24 SVV)

“Want Dien, Die geen zonde gekend heeft, heeft Hij zonde voor ons gemaakt, opdat wij zouden worden rechtvaardigheid Gods in Hem.” (2Co 5:21 SVV)

Die rechtvaardiging is iets om verheugd te zijn. Maar verder ook datgene wat er gebeurde nadat Jezus begraven was. Drie dagen na zijn dood werd hij namelijk door God uit de doden opgenomen. Die verrijzenis is voor ons ook als voorbeeld van wat er later met ons kan gebeuren.

“De God onzer vaderen heeft Jezus opgewekt, Welken gij omgebracht hebt, hangende [Hem] aan het hout.” (Hnd 5:30 SVV)

“Wetende, dat Hij, Die den Heere Jezus opgewekt heeft, ook ons door Jezus zal opwekken, en met ulieden daar zal stellen.” (2Co 4:14 SVV)

Dus reden genoeg voor allen die aarde bewonen om voor Jehovah, onze God te zingen tot Zijn eer en glorie. Jezus had meermaals over zijn hemelse Vader gesproken. Hij was er zich bewust van hoe zijn God de Allerhoogste is en hoe vol macht Zijn Naam wijd en zijd op de aarde moest verkondigt worden. Hij gaf zijn volgelingen de taak om die majesteit en Zijn Koninkrijk te verkondigen. Wij denken er vandaag aan dat Jezus nu zit aan de rechterhand van Die Grote Koning voor wie wij ontzag moeten hebben.

“Zingt den HEERE, gij, ganse aarde, boodschapt Zijn heil van dag tot dag.” (1Kr 16:23 SVV)

“Een psalm van David, voor den opperzangmeester, op de Gitthith. (8-2) O HEERE, onze Heere! hoe heerlijk is Uw Naam op de ganse aarde! Gij, die Uw majesteit gesteld hebt boven de hemelen.” (Ps 8:1 SVV)

“Laat de ganse aarde voor den HEERE vrezen; laat alle inwoners van de wereld voor Hem schrikken.” (Ps 33:8 SVV)

“Dewelke, alzo Hij is het Afschijnsel [Zijner] heerlijkheid, en het uitgedrukte Beeld Zijner zelfstandigheid, en alle dingen draagt door het woord Zijner kracht, nadat Hij de reinigmaking onzer zonden door Zichzelven te weeg gebracht heeft, is gezeten aan de rechter [hand] der Majesteit in de hoogste [hemelen];” (Heb 1:3 SVV)

Dezer dagen zijn wij vreugdevol dat God het zoenoffer van Jezus aanvaard heeft.

“Hierin is de liefde, niet dat wij God liefgehad hebben, maar dat Hij ons lief heeft gehad, en Zijn Zoon gezonden heeft [tot] een verzoening voor onze zonden.” (1Jo 4:10 SVV)

“Welken God voorgesteld heeft [tot] een verzoening, door het geloof in Zijn bloed, tot een betoning van Zijn rechtvaardigheid, door de vergeving der zonden, die te voren geschied zijn onder de verdraagzaamheid Gods;” (Ro 3:25 SVV)

“En Hij is een verzoening voor onze zonden; en niet alleen voor de onze, maar ook voor [de] [zonden] der gehele wereld.” (1Jo 2:2 SVV)

Het is aan de God die Zijn glorie de aarde moet en zal omvatten (Ps 57:5) dat de loftrompet deze dagen op aarde klonken, (Ps 66:1). Zij die Jezus volgen weten dat het de God van Jezus is Die wij zoals Jezus Hem lief had, ook moeten liefhebben, aanbidden, en zingen tot eer van Zijn Naam. dit in het besef dat Hij de Enige is Die de Allerhoogste Heer is over heel de aarde.

“De ganse aarde aanbidde U, en psalmzinge U; zij psalmzinge Uw Naam. Sela.” (Ps 66:4 SVV)

“(83-19) Opdat zij weten, dat Gij alleen met Uw Naam zijt de HEERE, de Allerhoogste over de ganse aarde.” (Ps 83:18 SVV)

Heet is voor Die God van Christus dat wij deze dagen liederen van blijdschap en lof zongen. Want Die God staat boven alle goden als Souverein, boven heel de aarde verrijzend.

“Want Gij, HEERE! zijt de Allerhoogste over de gehele aarde; Gij zijt zeer hoog verheven boven alle goden.” (Ps 97:9 SVV)

Daarom juichen wij met alle broeders en zusters van over de gehele aarde.

“Juicht den HEERE, gij ganse aarde! roept uit van vreugde, en zingt vrolijk, en psalmzingt.” (Ps 98:4 SVV)

“Een lofzang. Gij ganse aarde! juicht den HEERE.” (Ps 100:1 SVV)

Want met Die God van Jezus is Jezus en onze trouw. Met Zijn aanvaarding van het zoenoffer komt blijdschap ons toe.

“De HEERE heeft grote dingen bij ons gedaan; [dies] zijn wij verblijd.” (Ps 126:3 SVV)
