Messianic Gentiles looking at Torah and Jews, often giving a wrong view about Messianic Jews

Some Messianic groups do want others to believe that all Messianic Jews have put away their Only One True Beloved God Who is One eternal all-knowing invisible Most Almighty Elohim.

The retired Marc Hiatt worked as a Worship Director and Office Admin at Or HaOlam Messianic Congregation in Overland Park, KS, where he is known as Mordekhi. He seems to be one of those Messianic preachers who want to distort the view on Messianics by doing as if all of them worship Jeshua (Jesus Christ) as their god. Problem with such misleading gurus is that they do not want to provide place for comments on their articles, for probably they know very well that too many would disagree with them or would show readers how it is otherwise. Not providing a place for real Messianics to react, they stay in the dark and Jews may continue to have a wrong impression of those Jews who honestly choose  for Jesus.

Mr. Hiatt is not Jewish by blood, as far as any of his family records reveal. He may have a heart for Israel and the Bnei Yisroel or Jewish people and considers himself to be a Messianic Gentile,

“a “Ruth,” as it were.”

But it are such people and evangelicals who frighten us very much. Such preachers who try to convert Jews, or try to lure them in the trap not to worship the Elohim Hashem Jehovah anymore, that makes so many Jews afraid to have contact with Christians, because they too have a misinformed image. This is why today only 0,3% of the Jewish population in Israel is notated as believing in Christ. Evangelists saying so, pointing out there are 99,7 non-believers. Evangelism and Apologetics director Eitan Bar, on Youtube shares the 3 main reasons why Jewish people today don’t believe in Jesus, and gives a report about Evangelism in Israel. He explains the dangers of looking at the world from limited eye points, facing replacement theology which often leads to anti-semitism (look at the crusades, inquisition, pogroms, bloodlabels, etc).

We all should Remember our Bore [Creator – (Qohelet / Ecclesiastes 12:1)] and be faithful to this One and Only One True God and His Words given to us, them being recorded on the Scrolls. Those scrolls never presented the Lamb of God and a real Jew shall never says or believes the words written in the Torah would be the word of Jeshua (Jesus). To say the Torah

represents the living Word, Yeshua

is just an insult for us.

We respect the Torah because we consider it the infallible Word of God, the Most High Elohim.

In Messianic Judaism, the Torah scroll, written on a lamb’s skin,
represents the Lamb of God, Yeshua,
and that is why a Torah scroll is honored and respected.
The scroll itself is not worshiped,
but it is honored as the written word of ADONAI,
which in turn represents the living Word, Yeshua.

~ B’ha’alotkha, by Mordekhi’s Drash, A Messianic Gentile look at Torah and more by Marc Hiatt

All the activities of faithful men should be directed to Hashem, who should be the “centre” of our lives and never may faithful people have other gods next to the Elohim Hashem Jehovah. Even when we accept Jesus or Jeshua as the Messiah, his great position may never make us to worship him as one of our gods, or even worse, to make this son of man and Ben haElohim (or son of God), into our God.

Mostly that choice to make Jesus or Jeshua in God frightens our brothers and sisters living in Israel and other countries. That we may encounter so many preachers wanting us to believe we do not need the faith in our Hashem Elohim or yekar to Him, but into the faith in their god Yeshua makes us much afraid and makes us alert but also scared that lots of our brethren and sisters may be lured in the trap of Trinitarianism and its adjoint avodah zara or idolatry.

The eternal Most High, the Ehyeh, Asher, Ehyeh – who was, who is, and always shall be, has no turning or changing shadow in Him and has only His Kol to Whom we should listen. He has given the statutes we should follow. That Torah or written Law is what we should take as our Guide. Though many of those Messianic Gentiles want to give the impression we cannot go without them. They do seem to forget we clearly know, or should know, that we should not have any other gods. And real lovers of God should also not keep to halfways, we cannot be partial in applying the Torah (Mal’akhi / Malachi 2:9).

The Tikkun Olam or God’s redemptive purpose to restore a fallen world did not come by Him faking His birth, temptation, death and resurrection, still keeping all people to suffer such a long time after such a “salvation” by taking on the fleshly body of Christ and then telling lies, like that He would not know when coming back or who would be seated next to Him. God knows everything, but Jesus had to learn everything and did not know a lot of things, even not some very important matters, like his return (all proof he  – Jesus – is not God).

Those people, who want to give a wrong picture of Messianic Jews, also ignore Hashem’s Tachlis, and reduce the act of Christ to a God playing some act, or bringing a ‘theatre play,’ to quieten us, like mothers or father who tell a bedtime story before having their children going to sleep.

What took root in Israel nearly two thousand years ago, and was the sent one from God bringing “Peace and Salvation”, shall have to grow coming the prophesied times of the “Age to come“. Real lovers of God should show the world that we shall have to face Tikkun Olam and that slowly but surely our world shall repair and God’s People shall have their Holy Land in that restored land where more and more people shall find and worship that only One True God and shall keep to the mitzvah in honour of Him, the Most High, Who gave the world His Word with the Torah.

Live by Faith

In our capitalist world lots of people have forgotten Who is behind all that what we see around us. Lots of people also have forgotten the way to that Originator of Life. They also have forgotten how we now have a mediator, someone to speak for us. Most people have also forgotten how that man of flesh and blood lived according the wishes of the Only One true God and was prepared to put his own will aside to do the Will of that One true God and to give himself as a ransom for the faults or sins of all people.

In that master teacher who was born about 2022 years ago we should believe and put our hope, but also have an example how to construct our own life.

Let us not hesitate to try to become like Christ Jesus. Having us all becoming as brothers and sisters in Christ, all unified and working to be one in Christ like Jesus is one with his heavenly father and we too should be one with God.

Strength in Grace

We all only have one life, but we get to decide how to live it.
Jumanji

Yep…I just put a quote from Jumanji, on my blog, that’s about Jesus.  But it’s a good quote, and it led me to see something I’ve never quite noticed in a verse that I’ve read several times.

I have been crucified with Christ.  It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.  And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galations 2:20

Every time I’ve ever read this scripture, I’ve always focused mainly on the first two sentences.  And I don’t mean to dismiss that part in any way.  It is very important in our Christian walk.  Once we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, our “old self” should…

Knowing The Truth and Loving The Truth

A big problem with lots of people who call themselves Christian is that they do not believe the words of Christ Jesus nor of his heavenly Father and keep taking Jesus as their god instead of keeping to the God of Jesus and his disciples. They do seem to forget that Jesus is the sent one from God in whom mankind has to believe to receive the keys to the entrance of the pathway to God for entering the Kingdom of God.

Those who have found the Way to God and accept Jesus as their saviour, should show the others around them why they should come to have faith in Jesus and have to become part of his Body. United the lovers of God should as partakers in the Body of Christ do their utmost best to have a good relationship with the God of Jesus, his disciples and the God of Abraham, Who is One Singular God, above all gods, kings, queens, presidents, ministers, bosses and ordinary people, providing them with life and a prospect of eternal peace.

*

To remember

  • Truth from God = powerful thing + something God wants to share with everyone <= He desires all people to be saved and to come to full knowledge of the truth
  • Knowing God’s truth = connected with salvation offered in Jesus Christ = key component of Christian faith.
  • meant to go beyond knowing about God’s truth to doing something with that knowledge.
  • important for churches to stick to God’s truth in the scriptures when teaching
  • need to see our fellow Christians in love with the truth.
  • if we don’t believe in and love God’s truth we’re not saved.
  • God’s truth = we need a Savior + to receive salvation we must believe in Him + repent of our sins > to receive salvation we must repent and be baptized, which is a type of being buried and raised to new life with Christ (Acts 2:38; Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12). That’s all part of how God shows “the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:4-10). {Grace To Build An Ark}
  • Salvation = free gift = given when we follow God’s instructions for claiming it = instructions involve continuing in His truth after our conversion.
  • Grace = change how we live.
    Grace bring us to salvation and gives us the power to do what God means for us to do. But we could refuse to build. What do you suppose would have happened if Noah had said, “But I thought grace meant salvation is free, God?! Why would you make me build something. Can’t you just give me an ark?” {Grace To Build An Ark}
  • We think because the gift is free it can’t be revoked, rejected, and/or lost. We project cultural and traditional assumptions onto scripture that can cloud the meaning. {Grace To Build An Ark}
  • God sets before us life or death, blessings or cursing. We can either live in His grace or refuse to walk with Him. There’s no third option to walk according to your own heart and ignore God’s Word while still squeaking by into salvation. {Grace To Build An Ark}
  • God wants us to love His truth, not just know about it.
  • Loving the truth in His word = part of loving Him > not just the parts we’re comfortable with > have to love all of God
  • His scripture = revelation of who He is, what He wants, + how He’s working.
  • If we’re serious about having a relationship with God + becoming part of His family => need to pursue knowledge of His truth + learn to love every aspect of God, incl. His revealed truth.

Like An Anchor

In John 8:32, Jesus said, “You will know the truth and the truth will make you free” (WEB). Truth from God is a powerful thing. And it’s something God wants to share with everyone, because He “desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth” (1 Tim. 2:4, WEB). Knowing God’s truth is connected with the salvation offered in Jesus Christ and is a key component of the Christian faith.

according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began (Tit. 1:1-2, KJV)

But head knowledge isn’t enough. It’s absolutely essential that you study and know about the One you believe in, but knowledge doesn’t get you into the kingdom. Paul says you could even “understand all mysteries, and all knowledge” but without…

Responsibility bigger than those who talk about worldly matters

At Stepping Toes we got a reaction from kriztle34, a girl who has always seen herself as an oddball, though how older she gets, the more she came to find that she is just ordinary. She reacted to one of our postings about the position of Jesus and his God.

She is worried about our position before God concerning our writing “Application of old pagan concept of trinity“.

She reacts:

Be careful what you put up on the internet! God is taking record of everything we do including the things we say on the internet. If you put something on the internet you should ask yourself: am I prepared for the eternal consequences that will result from my actions; because your actions don’t just effect your eternity but it can effect the eternity of every person who reads your heretical doctrine and that’s something that God does not take lightly.

She has good reason to be worried about the souls of those who write on the internet. Those writing things the whole world can read, have a big responsibility, (to themselves, to others, to protect others, to God, and for their resurrection and ability to enter the Kingdom of God), and when they write about God their responsibility is even bigger than those who talk about worldly matters.

When talking about God we should first of all be aware that we are talking about the Most High Divine Creator, Who is the Highest Lord of Lord of lords and Host of hosts. His Name may not be defiled, so those talking about Him should be very careful how they use that Holy Name.

We are fully aware of the seriousness when preaching and know that often we may be put in very difficult positions, not coming to twist the Words of God. That Word of God is set apart or holy and should be kept precious.

Those who call themselves Christian should be followers of Christ Jesus and should keep to the doctrines of that Jewish rabbi. As a Jew and descendant form the tribe of King David Jesus only worshipped a singular God, the God of Israel Who is One. Jesus also asked his followers to worship and to pray to that God like he prayed to that God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Every person writing on the net about Jesus and God should be fully aware of the danger of telling the wrong things about those Biblical characters. They also should know the importance of the task the master teacher Jeshua (Jesus Christ) has given his followers.

We as followers of Christ Jesus have the task to preach the Gospel of the coming Kingdom of God but also to show the people the Way to God. Jesus, the sent one from God is the one people should come to believe.

When writing about God, our heart should be close to Him and not close to the world. Jesus asks us to take distance from the world, though it might not always easy. So many people are caught up in the many false teachings and human doctrines so many churches present them.

It is so easy to be caught by those human doctrines and to step into the world with those many human or pagan rites and festivals. But we have to be stronger than many in the world and go for the Biblical Truth and  not human doctrines. We should not believe all those false human doctrines, but should keep to the Biblical doctrines and accept Jesus, the son of man and son of God, being the authorised one from God, who is our Messiah or the Kristos (Christ) and the only one by whom we received the grace of salvation and can find the way to the small gate to the Kingdom of God. In him people should come to believe. About him sincere lovers of God should preach and show the world that Jesus is the Way to God and that Jesus is not God himself, who faked his temptation and death and told lies when He as omniscient God would not have known who would be seated next to Christ or when Jesus would return to earth. That are all matters Jesus did not know but the Only One True God really did know and knows also today and tomorrow, Him always being the Eternal Omniscient Omnipresent Being.

Those writing about The Eternal God should not have any other gods besides Him. When writing on the internet about religious matters the writer should do his or her utmost best always to be determined to stick with the Biblical Truth.
