No more answers or directions, Please!
I can’t not handle more disappointments in me
I don’t want reminded of just how alone I be

No regrets on a more solitary life lived
No regrets on doing her best to raise her kids
No regrets on the one’s she chance’d a deeper love to give
It was given and taught to some; a tragic gift bought to live

She has learned to want not & stop all talk
Be still, amongst her thoughts, nonstop
Learning beauty in listening w/no answer[s] to share
Needing not know the answers to any known whys to care

She’s done being a mother and even a lover
She’s done tending to other’s needs for hers to please
She’s wanting her time to do as she feels the need
