Fear for rebel groups and men

In this world, this system of things is coming closer to its end. We can see that by what is coming from the East and is entering our life.

Throughout history there always have been interesting people and human beings who wanted to be more powerful than others, even prepared to kill others to strengthen their power. We have many  great men in this world and can see the governors whose laws and policies determine the welfare of millions; the would-be world-rulers, the dictators and empire-builders, who have it in their power to plunge the globe into war.

Think of Sennacherib and Nebuchadnezzar; think of Alexander, Napoleon, Hitler. Think of Nixon and Mao Tse-tung…think now of Putin, Obama, Kim Jong-un, and others…  {J.I. Packer, in his classic book entitled Knowing God}

Today lots of people are fearing the power of ISIS. Many also want to believe that it are Muslims who are the ones they have to fear. They do not come to see that those fighters and Islamic terrorists are not real Muslims and are defiling the Ummah or Muslim community and slop God’s Name through the mud.

Do you suppose that it is really these men who determine which way the world shall go?
Think again; for God is greater than the world’s great men. {J.I. Packer, in his classic book entitled Knowing God}

“brings the princes to nothing; He makes the rulers of the earth as vanity” (Isaiah 40:23).

We should be well aware that at the end-times the religions shall go against each other, but that those who belong to the body of Christ, the believers in one God know that the ruler of this world shall go to fight hard against those who worship the only one True God, in the knowledge that their end will be near.

They may want to blind others and bring others to do lots of things which are against God’s wish. Therefore we should be very careful not to step in the booby trap, becoming overmanned by grief and hatred, taking on an attitude unworthy a follower of Christ.

All our hope should be on the return of Christ and on his heavenly Father Who is

“The only ruler of princes.” Behold your God indeed!

Refugees At The Border- A Blessing Or Burden?

We may wonder, why the ex-Communist Central European countries display such an intolerant, negative and rigid approach to the plight of the refugees. KTG was one of the first to question the ex communist EU states approach even though on the example the lack of solidarity of Eastern Europe towards Greece’s debt crisis.

For sure the fear of having an other culture taking over theirs is ungrounded when each of the asylum taker states is fierce in making it clear those coming into their country have to accept the values and way of life of the guest country.

Lots of fear in our regions is by not knowing enough of the other culture and not by understanding the real actual facts of the inhumane conditions that ISIS creates, against Koran teaching.

Revealing themselves to be intolerant, illiberal, xenophobic, and incapable of remembering the spirit of solidarity that carried them to freedom a quarter-century ago, the Eastern European countries should seriously reconsider their position they want to take in the European Union, which has to be one of democratic liberty and solidarity.

Europe is a mixture of different cultures, people and tiny states. It has to look for an consensus, finding a way so that all those different cultures, religions can live together without harming each other or standing in the way of the other.

Debates like the one in Belgium taking place know by the complaint of the commission of equality that burkina’s should be allowed in the swimming pools are not helping to the matter. When this would be allowed women’s right could be in danger again for Muslim women. The same nudist should then have the right to demand being able to swim naked in the public baths at any time.

All sorts of religious, philosophical and ethical groups should find a way to have everybody respecting other ones thoughts, but knowing that in the private sphere everybody should be able to do what they want, as long as they do not bring damage to each other, but that in public places all have to put water in their wine, allowing a way of life where the majority can find itself at ease.

Therefore no yelling from mosque towers at the rising or setting of the sun, and no bell ringing from Catholic or Protestant churches early in the morning.

On the examples of Hungary’s government “mistreatment of thousands refugees in front of the eye of the entire world” and Poland’s storm of comments full of hate towards the refugees, we should ask with urgency to those ex-communist countries:

“Have Eastern Europeans no sense of shame? For centuries, their ancestors emigrated in droves, seeking relief from material hardships and political persecution. And today their leaders’ heartless behaviour and callous rhetoric play to popular sentiment. “

Throughout millennia people have been hoovering all over the world to find liveable pastures, let those who claim to be Christians show the right Christian attitude worthy to be called after Jeshua, the Messiah, Jesus Christ, who preached love and openness for each other.

To remember:

  • flow of people from war torn regions of the world in particular Syria, North Africa & Afghanistan is continuing this week and is likely to continue over the next few weeks
  • refugees will go to the region where they are likely to find employment and a better livelihood
  • millions have moved within the middleast to Africa and to South America
  • struggles within Europe = dominating the headlines
  • Southern Europe has been seen to carry out harsh tactics against the suffering people > tear gas, blocking routes, laying down barb wire
  • previous slogans of “open Europe” seems like a distant memory
  • many European countries are squabbling with each other on how many and where the suffering people should go to
  • Europe’s population is near the five hundred million mark, even if there was one million people entering Europe this would be only 0.02% of the population, hardly a huge increase in numbers.
  • Europe’s economic output represents close to 25% of global output.
  • reluctance is founded in a enshrined principle that the identity needs to be protected regardless
  • arrival of the suffering people are seen as a threat to its identity
  • the “defend your culture and identity by no interaction or leave your culture at the border policy” isn’t working
  • allowing refugees in => interaction, discussion, exchanges of views and opinions => beneficial for everyone
  • culture good for one group of people = good for all groups of people
  • worry of compromising their culture and closing the borders = weak position
  • world sees it as outdated and Europe needs to move on.

How To Get Started In Sharing Your Faith As a Christian

Many people are too much afraid of man. Too many Christians do not trust enough their God. They should know they have not to fear the reactions of man but should more be concerned about the reactions of Jesus, the son of God and of his heavenly Father, the Only One true God.

Jesus came to bring more knowledge about this God of Abraham and asked his followers to let the world know Who this God of Israel is and what He demands from His people.

Those who call themselves Christian should sincerely think about what that comprehends and should follow up the teachings and demands of their master teacher, the Nazarene man, who was killed because he was standing in the way for the worldly lovers of power.

Jesus was not afraid to say what he thought and what his heavenly Father wanted him to do. We should follow his example and not feel any inhibition to come out for what we do believe. There should be no embarrassment and we should not be ashamed to tell others we do not have all the answers. Only God has all the answers. He is the only one Who knows everything. Even His son, Jesus did not know a lot of things (even not when he would be coming back or who would be seated next to him).

In the Holy Scriptures we can find many examples of men of God who felt foolish but choose to go on the way God demanded from them. They continued the task given by God. We should follow up the task Jesus has given his disciples.

If we do not dare to go out and to talk about our faith, perhaps we have to question our faith ourselves. When firmly in the faith, we have nothing to be ashamed for.
When we open our brains to the Power of God, the Holy Spirit shall enlighten us and give us that power we need to go forward in our life and to show others the path we all have to follow.

To remember:

born again by the Spirit of God => a story to tell + sharing your faith + gospel message

Witnessing = God’s will that we witness + Jesus’s will that we witness + overflow +telling another where to find + to present Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit + telling to put trust in God through Jesus Christ + to accept Jesus as their saviour + to serve Jesus as their King in the fellowship of the Church + bringing glory to God + laying hold of God’s willingness + opportunities that God will provide + need to go out in the power of the Holy Spirit + confidence we have in approaching God + knowing to have what we ask of God

our inhibitions are Biblical > Apostle Paul shares our experience of feeling foolish

possible to have faith without having all the answers

faith comes when the reasons for believing outweigh the problems

do not expect God to bless your witnessing or any other activities if you are knowingly disobedient to Him in some area of your life

How to: ask God to guide you + be honest in your statements and don’t exaggerate either the positive or the negative aspects of your story + don’t criticise other people or denominations or make any other negative remarks in your story + don’t bring anyone else down + don’t use any religious jargon

Jesus Is Healing Today

man in horror saying oh no, not evangelism!

cartoon on sharing your faith

It ‘s the nightmare scenario of quite a few Christians. What if someone asks me about my faith??? How do I get the conversation started and what do I say??

If you’ve been born again by the Spirit of God, then you have a story to tell. There is no-one like you and there never will be again. You are a unique “God creation” and your personal story is both special and powerful.

The website New Christian UK has already created a helpful page on the web that will lead you through the steps in sharing your faith and the gospel message. This page is free to reproduce for non-profit use, so let’s look at the advice it gives:

What Is  Witnessing?
a). An overflow. b). One beggar telling another beggar where to find bread. c). “To witness is so to present Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit…

Illusion of Separateness

English: Logo for the Addicted to Social Media...

Logo for the Addicted to Social Media Blog (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Lots of people look for social media to feel at ease and like to be carried away by the mobile phone, television or cinema screen. On the many screens were many eyes are glued on these days everything is done to get people away from the Divine Creator. With smashing sparkling flashing lights on those screens not the light comes in the hearts but those lights blind the many searchers and many are placed in the dark catacombs of the present world.

Instead of uniting with the many social media friends, people get even more isolated and lonely, forgetting also the most important relationship they should work at. That Higher Friend even get not in the mind of most human beings.

Instead of gaining power those caught up by social media and those falling in the trap of the growing number of atheists get more reasons (they think) to be afraid and start fearing people who seem to be different than them, though often they are not so different as they are thought of to be. The clam of the world brings the darkness of the torture rooms of the dark ages. History keeps repeating.

To remember:

  • some humans want to keep other humans in darkness
  • cutting off from awareness of our full potential, cutting us off from true connection with our Creator
  • creating reasons for us to feel separate from our fellows
  • feeding idea of winners + losers > right + wrong.
  • feed fear => cannot come together to create a real evolution of consciousness
  • more easily controlled when feeling afraid, isolated
  • Everyday on television, internet + radio news = fed lies to distract us +> dish out fear
  • truth = all are one, connected by a single consciousness => when we harm another we actually harm ourselves +  when we judge another we are judging ourselves =>  plug into our divine creator and perform miracles on planet
  • => Open your eyes and rise above the illusion.

Finding My Authentic Self

image

There are some humans that want to keep other humans in the darkness, cutting us off from the awareness of our full potential, cutting us off from true connection with our creator.

Make no mistake, they benefit from creating reasons for us to feel separate from our fellows, feeding the idea of winners and losers, that there are those who are right and those who are wrong.

They feed us with reasons we should fear each other, different races, religions, countries, so that we cannot come together to create a real evolution of consciousness.

We are more easily controlled when we feel afraid, isolated, separate from one another and alone.

Everyday on the television, internet and radio news we are fed lies to distract us and they dish out fear, fear and more fear.

If we all knew the truth, that we truly all are one, connected by a single…
