Responsible for what we are

More than one writer and philosopher pointed to the fact that we are all ourselves responsible for what we are, have become or what we shall become.

“We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be,
we have the power to make ourselves.
If what we are now has been the result of our own past actions,
it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future
can be produced by our present actions;
so we have to know how to act.”
~ Swami Vivekananda

Dr Austin Ejaife *(Ugo1)* also looks at this statement which should be a warning for us all. He writes:

It can be easy for us to lose focus of the incredible potential we possess to make ourselves into anything that we wish ourselves to be. All too often we let the little failures in life get us down, or we lock ourselves up into our current situations in life and our same old routines. But it is true what Swami says here:

today, we are a result of our past actions… and it therefore follows that we can come to be whatever we wish, if we so choose to.

The key is that we must choose to make positive changes… and then act upon those changes now. {Take Action To Bring Yourself Closer To Who And What You Wish To Be}

He too is aware that such changes do not have to happen at once. question is first if we are willing to change ourselves. In which way do we want to grow and mould ourselves when we go along the path of life? Question to be posed is on what do we as a person want to focus?

In this world for many the focus is on material things. Not many are interested in the spiritual richness which can be in front of us. We should be aware were we want to position us in this world and how we want to look at ourselves but also would love others to see us.

Dr Austin Ejaife *(Ugo1)*his advice is

We can make slight changes to our routines that help us to become more positive, more productive, and bring us closer to where we desire to be. {Take Action To Bring Yourself Closer To Who And What You Wish To Be}

But also questions

Why is it easy to get caught up in who we are now and lose sight of who we want to be? {Take Action To Bring Yourself Closer To Who And What You Wish To Be}

So many people fall in the trap of their own ego tripping and selfishness, that they miss the opportunity to become part of a greater unit. Lots of people are also afraid to be confronted with their-self and always postpone to change something essential.

For this reason it is not bad to take in consideration the following thought:

“Never again clutter your days or nights
with so many menial and unimportant things
that you have no time to accept a real challenge when it comes along.
This applies to play as well as work.

A day merely survived is no cause for celebration.
You are not here to fritter away your precious hours
when you have the ability to accomplish so much by making a slight change in your routine.
No more busy work. No more hiding from success.
Leave time, leave space, to grow. Now. Now! Not tomorrow!”
~ Og Mandino

Transformation is easy, when you step into something that already IS.

We may have heard that

  “it’s the journey, not the destination…” or “Life’s a journey…” or “it’s part of my spiritual journey…”, so the idea of a journey is not new. {FAQ}

At this site we try to bring views from different people on the Journeys they may make in their life or the adventures they may encounter. We also try like today’s guest writer to let you think about

how your life works as your own personal journey.

You begin to experience your inner-self more consciously and intentionally; through this experience comes a deeper understanding of those quotes, but what’s more, it leads you to a deeper understanding of yourself. {FAQ}

The author knows,it’s all about

“how you observe yourself going through whatever you are going through – trying not to be ‘judgy’ and then recognizing the communications from spirit coming through the mundane of your living life. Then, allowing what is, as you take the messages to a new cognitive level – chewing on it, sensing it some more, inching and feeling your way in your ascension process. {FAQ}

With the many writings we try to bring in front of our readers eyes we do hope they come to see that each of us has their own responsibility to open eyes and ears, and to try to figure out how life is and has to be build up and where we do have to go.

This is awareness. It is being awake. And it seems we do this inch-worm kind of movement until – by the grace of God – a miracle happens and time collapses and “poof” we are on a new and higher level until that becomes the new normal.” like we more than once tried to explain, that {FAQ}

how we may develop our pearls: first be receptive to the influence of essential wisdom, learning, knowledge, and art. Then open our minds to understanding. Then protect that wisdom by closing our minds to anything that denies it. Then dive deeply into ourselves to develop that essential wisdom and knowledge within, learning what it means to be it. {Why Pearls}

Though many try to create a fake world they shall come to be confronted with the real world where there is no place for “fake” and in the end we all shall come to a point where we shall have to look at our own life, the years gone, past history … and shall have to consider if we won the race or not.

At that point we perhaps shall come to see if we have changed over the years and if we could grow in the positive sense.

To remember

  • point of all of these = to embody qualities that express what you hope to become + in taking on these qualities, you change + actually become that which you desire to be, that which you project.
  • 1 = discovery = uncovering something already there
  • 2 = expression + act.
  • Transform mind to align with self.

Havi Brooks’ caper of conscious entry states, “Enter as you wish to be in it; exit as you wish to continue”. Or, as my friend Brad has stated another way: “Don’t be a commercial actor, if what you really want is to be on the silver screen”.  In business I have heard this idea expressed as “dress for the level of success that you want to have.” At a very base level, the idea “Fake it ‘til you make it” says the same thing.

The point of all of these is to embody qualities that express what you hope to become and in taking on these qualities, you change and actually become that which you desire to be, that which you project.

I have been working with this (these) idea(s) pretty intensely the past few weeks…but really, my whole life. Because my life is about stepping into being and expressing

The world starts with yourself

BzN-Mov Without a Name-Logo_ENFrom the archives of Bond Zonder Naam (Movement Without a Name) we love to present you some proverbs which were published in the early years. Already from the start attention was placed on the matter that a person had to accept himself or herself, before the person could find happiness. In 1958 it looked already at The self” and in the subsequent years it asked to look at yourself in a positive way, daring to say “I am”, because without it there is no being.

  • Do You Really Believe That You Have Any Friends? (deeptrivediblog.wordpress.com)
    Just understand that as of now we do not distinguish between friends and enemies. Also know that mind is deeper than the depths of the netherworld. Therefore, do not make haste in judging yourself. Seek out all that is hidden in the depths of your mind and simply throw out all the filth that you come across there. Because all the outcomes in life are emerging from what is hidden in the depths of our mind. Thus, start blaming yourself for your current state instead of your friends, the world, God, destiny or society.
